I removed the plastic from around my suit after bringing it home from Crown Point Cleaners. It had small dark stains on the right sleeve by the shoulder. There was nothing noted on the hanger that there was a stain on the sleeve that they could not remove. I've never had an article of clothing returned to me by a cleaner that had a stain without a tag stating that there was a stain that couldn't be removed. I took it back to them and the owner said it was from a moth. A MOTH! I purchased the suit less than two months ago. I tell this to her and then she claims its mildew. MILDEW! I can't believe my ears. I did not even walk in blaming them for what happened. I simply showed it to her. No apology, nothing. In fact, she said there were more spots on the pants. I never even looked at them and when I got home, she was right! I then took the suit to another dry cleaner. The owner looked at it thoroughly and said it was an ink stain. He said it was obvious that an ink pen had broken on the suit. He had the seamstress remove the inner lining of the sleeve and spent four days trying to remove the stain. No luck. The work Crown Point did set the stain. There is no way that the suit was brought to Crown Point Cleaners with those stains. The location of the ink blots are impossible to happen without me knowing. I can't believe that someone would so badly lie about something that was so obviously their fault and never even give me heads up. Stay away!!!!!!!

I got there at 3:05 and the shop was already closed. They close at 3. No heads-up, no courtesy call, no apology, no explanation, and not even a follow-up the next day. I was left scrambling before my graduation and had to throw something else together last minute. It honestly made me question if I even needed to get the pants altered at all because this whole situation was just horrible. What was the point of taking my name, phone number, and contact info if she wasn't going to use it? I never got a single call. Not even to confirm the pants were ready early. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if she forgot about the order completely. She showed no remorse and then had the nerve to try and charge more for expedited service, even though she knew my deadline from the start. That was enough for me.
