The people here are absolutely AWFUL, especially the girl at the front desk. I walked in the girl at the front desk didn't even acknowledge me. I said hello and she looked at me as if I had just totaled her car. I said that I had an appointment at 12, she with an attitude asked my name. She told me to go pick a color, literally pointed to the opposite area of where the colors were. I explained that I wanted a gel color and before I could tell her which one, she rudely said "the gel colors are there too" as if I were dumb. I should have walked out then, but I sat down and the tech came to do my nails and didn't even acknowledge me. Like, whether you speak English or not, friendly is a universal language. I sat down, she told me to put my foot up, hen the other, she literally pushed my foot into the water. I said never mind and walked out! I just moved to the neighborhood and didn't want to drive all the way to the southwest, but I will from now on; driving 40 minutes to get my nails done where I know people are kind, good humans is much better than driving 3 and dealing with disgusting, rude jerks.

Her independent business is called NailTrendz, and you can find her on Instagram. She is super sweet! I've been coming to her for over a year now. I've attached some photos of some sets she had done with hard gel on my NATURAL NAILS! She also gives the best pedi! She actually takes the time to smooth out your feet and make them super soft. I would like to point out that most independent nail techs don't offer pedis anymore and I really like how I can get both done at the same place.

March 11th again she short-noticed cancelled for a "family emergency" and said she would text me to reschedule. March 24th I texted to see if she was back yet...no answer. Unfortunately, a friend recommended her and I saw my friend with freshly manicured nails a few days later and asked if Bella had done them and she said yes. I saw my friend again today...again with fresh nails. If I wasn't a good fit for her, she should have said so instead of ghosting me.

I assumed that an experienced esthetician would know how to guide me to the best treatment to get the results I was looking for. Once in the facial room, I changed and laid down, ready to relax and enjoy my facial. When Valerie said she likes to do a lot of massage with facials, I was really excited, because I enjoy the massage part of facials the most. What I think she should have said is that her massages are given with a lot of pressure. I was not relaxed during any of the massage portion of the facial, in fact, I even had to tell her a few times to decrease the pressure. I thought it would get better when the machine came out. When the microdermabrasion machine was going on my face, I was experiencing a great deal of discomfort, but I was told that is a normal part of this procedure. So far, this was not a relaxing facial. When the mask was placed on my face, Valerie said, "I know it burns, so I'll turn the fan on." Once the fan was turned on, the burning sensation decreased. The moisturizer was applied and as I was about to leave I looked in the mirror and saw that my skin was bright red. Valerie didn't seem to be worried, so I assumed that was normal. My sun spots seem to have gotten darker and I have scratches on my face now. My sun spots seem to have dark scabs over them, as if the top layer of skin was shaved off and my skin oozed, causing the dark scab. I think that the microderm abrasion machine was set too high for my skin. I look like I have road rash and dark scabs on my cheeks where the sun spots originally were. This is not the first time I have gotten microderm abrasion, but this is the first time I had this bad reaction. My parents saw me the next day and asked me what happened, so obviously the scabs were noticeable to others. Maybe after the scabs come off, I will see the results I was expecting, but as of the writing of this review, I still have the dark scabs and scratches and have not gotten the results I was looking for.

I grabbed my purse & headed to front of salon to pay. TK's client hollered "hey, you forgot your stuff." I turned around to get my jewelry and said it's no wonder I forgot my jewelry since I was rushed out. Three of my nails are smudged. TK didn't have me sit to dry them. Nope. I have seen TK about 5 times for mani pedi. I am a great tipper. I still cannot believe how rudely I was treated and now I have to fix my 3 smudged nails. I won't be back. There are multiple incentives that are offered when renting -- including suites with sinks or no sinks, the freedom to decorate your room how you'd like and free social media advertising from the salon's Instagram page. The owner Selena, is extremely accommodating and understanding. She is consistent at checking up on you to make sure you are satisfied and she's easy to communicate with. If you're considering renting a salon suite, I would definitely do it. I have no complaints.
