The line moved expeditiously and the employee assigned to the outside was able to multitask yet make you feel as if you were priority number one. I have been shopping here for years, and for those who may not have been here recently, I must tell you the quality of the items has only improved.It has always been a nice shop , but I feel it is now in the running for best consignment shop in Eastern Pa. They have either attracted a better quality of name brand items, or are being more choosy about what they take in! Let me tell you why I drive an hour to come to this store: It is the largest most fashionable consignment store I know of, with exceptional, affordable clothing and accessories! Large means room for more merchandise, pleasingly arranged from the smallest through largest articles of color according to size. The have outerwear, sleepwear, and petites separated. I can not walk in the store without heading directly to the designer handbags, and the great brands of shoe collections. Many of their items still have the store tags hanging on them. One of the most amazing displays is their beautiful, trendy brand new jewelry. Some consignment jewelry is sold, but most is sparkling new costume jewelry! They carry specific collections of fashion jewelry. A new brand displayed attractively is the "Ginger Snap" jewelry, in which you can interchange the center decorative part of the jewelry by simply snapping it in and out of place! Another beautiful versatile display of jewelry are the lockets with varying designs of see through shapes, which you purchase colorful tiny charms of interest for yourself, or anyone you would like to give a unique gift to! Any other store of this size would be difficult to get around, but all is sorted according to type of clothing: skirts, jeans, dresses, etc. Quality purses are so numerous now, that they can be found on display racks throughout the store. The people who shop there are dressed nicely . You can see that they wouldn' t have to shop there; they only do so because they know its the wise thing to do. Which brings us to cost. The prices are extremely reasonable. The only place you could find cheaper clothing, would be in a goodwill for ex. I am a retired teacher who likes stretching her dollar, and I only Shop in what I call consignment boutiques. When I was younger, I tried goodwill, and other thrift shops. I have been spoiled by theses shops now, kiddingly saying I do have standards. My friends brag about items they find at a Goodwill, which is sometimes true, but their shopping experience is not the same. I feel like a trendy upscale shopper in the stores I am browsing through,It's not at all the same as looking through torn damaged clothing, stored in a smelly wearhouse type building! The staff is professional, courteous, and does donate portions of sales to pet rescues. You can even purchase a new toy for your pet! Not only do they have large inviting dressing rooms, shopping carts, a bathroom for their customers, but also they include areas of seating for a quick rest. Notice all the gorgeous formal gowns displayed like flowers throughout the store for some lucky prom shopper. Today my friend of 60+, and I found quite a few spring fashions while her 30 year old daughter, who lives and works in New York City , as a professional at one of the national TV stations, was shopping along side of us , picking out favorites to wear to work at her job in the big Apple! Any day that you stop in, you will find sale items. Individual items are priced on sale, or sometimes there are store wide sales! YOU WILL LOVE, "NOW WEAR THIS!"

The store lives up to its name in that offerings are more on display vs resembling a garage or yard sale manner--more organized with space surrounding the houseware items. Clothes are neatly hung appear clean. I especially like viewing the donated China sets , gardening supplies and seasonal figurines. The prices range from reasonable to real bargains. The space next door looks relatively new but at the same time it looks like it is one minute away from disrepair. Also, the lot in front of it is fenced off. The lot in front of this, looks like it was a complete afterthought. Completely not maintained. This location is serviced by a bus and appears to be connected to another plaza as well. However, the lot is always in chaos. Behind the store is a drop off center for donations which is constantly busy with someone either coming or going from back there. Inside, it was just as much a mess as it was outside. The size was small and the sections were disproportionate. Some areas were well organized and stocked and others were just a mess. Nothing of interest to me here. I browsed a few sections and didn't see anything worth snatching up. After a while I was back out to my vehicle to continue on my journey home with the thrift stop here or there.

I sometimes have to remind myself of this as I make the long drive from Lancaster to this location which is part of my thrift store rotation. First their strengths: Biggest and best toy department of all area thrift stores. While some pieces are not perfect they have a good selection. Your best finds will most likely consist of Little People sets, plastic dollhouses, puzzles, and bigger pieces like kitchen sets. If you are looking for a cheap, functional (but not attractive) furniture piece or dresser in need of a makeover, you will find lots of items here with potential. They also have items I haven't seen elsewhere pertaining to elderly supplies; canes, walkers, etc - best selection here than anywhere. Linens are also strong since the quantity is abundant. You will need to do some sorting but will most likely walk out with what you're looking for. Although it might take a few visits. However don't expect clean isles and lots of organization. Also the location is touchy - only because the big retailer next door closed so the parking lot is scary at night. My most recent visit I was greeted by a homeless man at the front door. So my advice is if going alone go during the day. The biggest disappointment for this store is what they have the most of; clothing. I am constantly disappointed by organization, quality, and especially prices. I've seen new with tags dresses here in the $59 range only to be covered in dog hair and need pressed. You might be on the hunt for black pants and go thru an entire isle of such and think your search is over only to find two more selections with black paints. It's not unusual to find a shirt you like only to discover holes and stains. In fact it's more likely than not at this location as their sorting process is not thorough. Prices overall for clothes are higher. The dressing rooms also need improvement. One hook and a broken mirror as well as a foul smell greeted me this past Saturday. Not to mention ripped up tags and broken hangers on the floor. They could definitely work on that. So while there is flaws it's still worth a trip if you're looking for something secondhand. Maybe just don't drive from as far away as I do.
