This was my go-to shop for 7 years before I moved. It's one of the places I miss the most from Lancaster. They've been around forever, but the shop has a great selection of old and new publications. You can find all your monthlies here, create a pull pile, and browse the archives. Great selection of trade paperbacks and hard cover collections. Some harder to find editions as well. They also have an decent selection of figures and other collectibles. Prices are fair, and the archives are typically priced competitively. The service is always friendly and helpful. They've never messed up a pull pile for me and they'll always check to see if I need something ordered. Whenever I'm in the area I make it a point to stop back here and shop. read more

I'm not the least bit into comic books but came here when I was searching for a Spiderman poster for a project. This was the only store that I knew that could find one. Inside the space is full of all things comic book and Marvel related; including books, toys, figurines, clothing etc. It's a very tight and cramped space and some areas and products were a tad dusty. I was able to score the poster I was seeking by buying the one that was display since they were out. I wish for that reason it would have been discounted but it wasn't and I didn't ask. Another poster was on display at the end of an isle that was the only one they had as it was for promotional purposes. I inquired if that was for sale and he said it could be for $6, which considered full price was around $9, and this one was ripped, creased, and taped, I declined. The lone store employee was helpful when he needed to be but otherwise left us alone to browse. I was thankful that he left my grandson use their bathroom (4 year olds have to go at the most inconvenient of times!) which was located outside and upstairs. I will say they have alot of stuff, so if this is your jam they are for you! read more

35%+ markup on most magic product which is enormous even with the limited product in inventory. They do not respect the secondary market and since Magic does not have MSRP that is a very big deal. You will almost pay double for Magic at this store. Just use TCGPlayer and don't be dumb like me and support this store. read more

Shop is located in North Lancaster on the first floor of a relatively small building with its own parking lot. Comic Store is stocked from top to bottom to the point it gets crowded and maze like. Good selection of new pull comics both behind the counter and in the back of the store. Significant longbox selection of relatively well organized older comics split the shop down the middle. They also have additional boxes in cubicles below; these are harder to search due to the space issues and not as alphabetically organized. One of the LARGEST selections of Graphic Novels I have seen in a comic book shop, 2 solid large double-sided bookshelves. Toys and collectables are all over the shop including Pop! Vinyl's. Fair selection of HeroClix, Model Accessories, and Magic: The Gathering cards. Also carries assorted magazines and a fair selection of Manga. Service was ok, not the most engaging shop I've been too, but they were kept busy with a good amount of customers. Overall a solid comic book shop. read more

Awesome comic store with tons of stuff! I've been into a few stores now and this one feels like it's had the most stock of collected editions out of all the ones I've stopped at. Ok, Im not going to pretend that i know about the comic book culture, so here goes nothing... ---------- DECOR: Its a comic book store and it has exactly the decor youd think it would. Its PACKED full of comic stuff, toys, books, posters, boxes and boxes full of books. And of course the adult comic book guys that for some reason you just feel they shouldnt be doing this sort of thing.. LAYOUT: Its a little tight, Ill admit. With books everywhere it can be a little overwhelming if you dont know what youre looking for. I thought since Im a graphic designer that it would be cool if I found some sort of stuff I can use. Im sure if I dug more I probably could, but since I didnt know what I was looking for... SERVICE: I didnt buy anything, but someone did offer to help me find something, so it seems like its friendly service. ---------- FINAL THOUGHT: Kind of not my thing, but if its your thing, then this is just the place for you! read more

Nice little comic shop. Your standard fare in terms of major comic labels. Lots of long boxes to sift through. It is small and therefore rather cramped. Navigating can be tricky when crowded. Staff is helpful and polite. My son loves this little shop by the train station. If it were up to him, we'd stop here every time we come to Lancaster, haha! Lots and lots of trade paperbacks and collected volumes. I kind of wish all the older comics came with cardboard backers. read more

This is one of the coolest comic shops I've ever been in. There's an awesome collection of things, not just comics. There's the usual extras like dice, mini figs, board games, super hero figures, and graphic novels, but there's even more: t-shirts, some manga, anime and Japanese import figurines, toys, buttons, magnets, bumper stickers, posters. I'm obviously not from the area, but if you are, they apparently host open board game nights on the first and third Tuesdays, which is awesome! The person I talked to was really helpful and kind. I only stopped in because I had some downtime between business meetings I wanted to kill. But I ended up walking out of there with a few neat things because I really wanted to support the local business. I encourage anyone in the area to stop in and check out what they have; if you're a geek like me I'm sure you'll find something you'll like. read more

I love this comic shop. Everything you need to get your geek on. New comics, dollar bins, back-issues. Graphic novels, trades, anime, toys, funko, board games, you name, they probably have it. Once a week, they even have a board game night on the top floor. Staff is very nice and knowledgable and willing to help. So nice to see both young and old come into the store and all leave with goodies and a smile. I will be back for sure. read more

Cool, large, and well-stocked comic store across the street from the Lancaster Amtrak station. Great selection of new books, and some substantive (albeit pricey) back issue collections. The day I stopped in the fellow at the counter could have been a bit more welcoming (Trying to check out it felt like I was disturbing his bookkeeping as he grumbled my total at me.); but at least it's a solid store with a great selection of mainstream and smaller-press books. read more

As a kid I was into comics. Now, 20 years later I found myself back into comics. I came across this store through the Internet and thought rather than ordering through amazon, I would try them out. Honestly, they are great. I like going into the "brick and Mortar" store and looking. Sure, you can order what you want over the Internet but you lose that something. I like being able to learn about different comics and finding new things. I want there for "the boys" and " crossed", I left the with them as we'll as Alan moore's "swamp thing" and Constantine. I don't love Constantine but I really enjoy swamp thing. Since than, I've been going back to find more. Thank you to the people working there! read more

Good Selection and The Staff seems to know what they're doing, I really only have one Issue. I haven't gone there a lot, but the times I did I felt a little pressured to buy something or get out, not by anything they said mind you but just from some of the looks I seemed to be getting from one of the staff. All in All a great place to fill your Comic Book Needs. read more
