We had a great experience with Sergio. He actually both sold us the tattoo. He helped us pick the right design and perfect what we were thinking. The design we went with wasn't easy and had a lot of color and detail. This was my wife's first tattoo and Sergio did a great job helping her understand what to expect and preparing her for her first tattoo as she was a bit nervous. Sergio is an amazing artist and did a great job. We still have one more sitting to go for just to finish up some color but the tattoo looks amazing and is healing perfectly which means he did a good job on her skin. I would strongly recommend Sergio at Tattoo Gallery. When you get a tattoo you care about the cleanliness of the shop and the artist. In addition to this you of course care about the artist's quality. We found both. While there there was another artist there named Chris whose work we observed. impulsively, while on a trip, I was walking by the beach and saw the shop and decided to get my belly pierced. The shop looked very nice, clean, I had no concerns. a woman who wore glasses and said she was a piercer for 14 years ended up doing my belly piercing. It went by so quick and it wasn't painful-- it looked fine until I got home from my trip, the jewelry started sinking into my skin and shortly started having small amounts of puss, it's hasn't even been 2 weeks since I got it done. The photos I provided are in order of the day I got it, a week after, and today after I got my jewelry changed in my hometown. I would not recommend this place for piercings nor tattoos, nobody seemed happy to be working there. This is a reflection of the artist himself rather than the tattoo shop as a whole. My sister and I are visiting the area and decided to get a spontaneous tattoo together. The shop is located in a popular area, felt clean, and we were able to get in the chair right away. My artist was less than friendly (wish I could recall his name, but it was the chair located all the way in the back) and you could tell he wasn't thrilled to be there. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and where I wanted it, and he just slapped the stencil on me without any precision. All the while my sisters artist broke out a ruler to make sure hers was centered. Yes, this is my fault for going through with this in the first place, but I had a lot of excitement going on in the moment so maybe that's what gave me poor judgment. I'm not one for confrontation so I left without saying anything, again, my fault. I just wanted to give folks a heads up before being spontaneous and to actually research your artists. In my mind this was a simple tattoo, but this is completely uneven (space at the bottom vs the top), lines aren't straight, and it's definitely not centered underneath my breast bone as it should be. I went in last month to get my belly button pierced and first of all, the man who did it, didn't disinfect my skin before piercing the skin. Yesterday, I'm cleaning it as usual and my skin in front simply rips as I am (no worries, no pain) because he didn't pierce it far back enough. He did it too close to the front. He was half assed about it but I figured he knew he was doing (who am I to tell him anything if I'm not trained in such matters). I would attach a photo but I don't want to gross any of you guys out. Now I have this u-shaped gap above my belly button that I have to wait to heal before I can get another one (obviously at a different place). They were really sweet and nice, which is why I went up to two stars. But, I would never come here again. I was here on vacation/visiting immediate family so I can't go in person and request anything so I'm letting you guys know to look elsewhere. Miami/Ft. I got my belly pierced by Gaston and my husband got our daughters name with heartbeat tattoo on his chest by (I believe) Miguel. We were both in and out in a half hour. Gaston was SO light with the needle and his hands. I literally thought he had only clamped my belly but the ring was already in and I was shocked. And the woman who was running the front gave my daughter a rose and butterfly temporary tattoo and she felt like a princess and was super excited. I'm unfortunately disappointed with my tattoo. I had been in the area for vacation and even scouted this shop specifically on their Instagram because I liked their work. I went in as a walk in and paid 115 which isn't bad considering it's a tourist location. It looked fine at first but as it's been healing it's become evident that the line work is pretty poor. When it reaches the tail it gets lighter and extremely thin. It's uneven throughout and now I'll have to pay another 100 dollars in my town to get it fixed. The artist was nice though. read more

BOTH of my tattoos I got from here are going through their healing process and the ink HAS CAME OUT!! & I had to pay $250 for this bull$#!+. The man with long BROWN hair waisted my TIME and MONEY! This is not my first time at this shop my first time coming here was about 3 years ago(they had all new staff back then), I got a cover up on my finger and still till this day it looks like I just got it. Anyways, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TAT SHOP! Please find somewhere else, there are plenty of other MORE QUALIFIED shops around! If I could rate this shop 0 stars I WOULD! This is my second time coming here, the first time i loved how Sergio did my tattoo but I did have a problem with the lady in the front to pay because she tried to charge me more than what she had said. Today i went once again and i got a matching tattoo with my sister. They have a Groupon deal of $100 dollars worth of tattoos for $51 and i messaged them before hand asking them if they can do OUR tattoos (as a set) for that deal since i already had that problem with her and she said yes (Note: I asked them twice, once on messages and another time once i got there and both times she said yes) We got there and got our tattoos; everything was perfect and they came out so beautiful. AGAIN when we went to pay the lady in the front tried to charge us $110 for both of our tattoos (Even after saying we will pay $51!) I was so upset because this is the second time this happens. I truly believe she does this on a regular to get people's money. Don't be fooled by her! For the shop: You have awesome tattoo artists (which is the only reason I will give it two stars) but these types of situations are making them look bad and potentially you are loosing customers. Furthermore, tell your customers the price altogether before you sit them down. Like I said in the shop once I left, I love your work but i always have problems when I come here and I'm never coming back here again. Bye read more

my friend went in to get nipple piercings, she's wanted them for a long time and thought she'd found a clean & safe place to have them done. she was so wrong. A short-haired lady who claims to have been piercing for 15 years proceeded to pierce one nipple lopsided & extremely deep missing the nipple entirely. The other nipple was pierced extremely shallow and was at risk of being ripped. Additionally the gauge was wrong and the bars were way too long. After a week of hoping the swelling would go down and hoping they would begin to look better, she went into Amato piercing, a premium piercing body piercing provider in Coral Springs. Amato expressed extreme concern upon witnessing the piercing, asked if the piercer was certified/licensed because it was some of the worst work they've seen done and couldn't imagine she was doing these piercings legally. They said it was mandatory the piercings be removed. They were particularly concerned because of triangular scarring damage that they'd never seen so early in a piercing. My friend called Tattoo Gallery and ask if they would refund the money because she had to have them removed and they needed to be re-pierced. Gallery refused a refund and her piercer yelled at her for requesting a refund, claiming she needs to be a sent a photo of her nipples so she can prove they were done correctly. Still she wouldn't issue a refund regardless. If you care about your body don't get work done at this provider. Absolutely pathetic and unprofessional. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! PIERCING DONE WRONG AND PAID $100.00 I went in last week to get a nipple piercing and everyone was very nice and welcoming. I was very excited and ready to do it. I went home and when i took the bandaid off i saw that the right one was crooked. I went a few days thinking it may just be swollen but that was completely wrong. I went to a piercing specialist to check it and he said there was multiple things wrong with the piercing. He said the bar was too thick for me which was causing the nipple to pull forward. There was triangular scaring appearing which is a result of that and there was bruising. It was also pierced through the areola instead of the nipple. He also said that the jewelry was not good quality and said I paid WAY to much for this jewelry that was not even meant to be put on this part of my body! I called asking for a refund and the piercer told me she was not going to refund me! I even said I would bring the bars back! The SPECIALIST piecer told me I could have ended up with major infection and a teared nipple! I had to take them both out! I am very angry at the fact that i trusted my body was going to be pierced right and the piercer at this tattoo shop told me that there is absolutely nothing she could have done wrong even though i have evidence about it! Why would I go through the effort of driving 40 minutes to get it checked out if there wasn't something wrong?! DO NOT GO HERE! Thank God I went to the piercing specialist to get it checked out! The fact that she wasn't willing to give me a refund for this says even more about her! I repeat DO NOT GO HERE! read more

My friend and I are here on vacation and wanted to get henna tattoos. We went to this shop in the hopes of walking away with something cute but not permanent and thank god it's not permanent because my toddler could have done a better job with a sharpie. She was charged 30 for her hand and I was charged 48 for my wrist and hand. The place seemed rushed , as I get cause it's a Saturday night but we would've waited for someone more qualified. The lady doing them appeared to be the manager or owner and didn't seem to know what she was doing. She did not have a steady hand. I've never had henna before so I thought maybe it just looks this bad and will come off and look better? Idk. But I am very glad that I did not get an actual tattoo with her. I was visiting a friend and we had just stopped at Ft Lauderdale beach along the way... I spontaneously decided to get my nose pierced while my friends went to the bar next door. I told the young lady that was working I just wanted a small "diamond freckle". She helped me pick out a screw nose stud and pierced it with in seconds. I bought the after care saline spray and that was it. No pain. 2 weeks later, still no pain, no infection, never had redness. It was quick and efficient. No time to change my mind. My boyfriend and I went in with appointments for some pretty basic tattoos (roman numerals and a stick figure). I know tattooist do not like doing small tattoos but the shop was completely empty so any business is good business, right? As soon as I sat down with my artist he complains about how he doesn't do Friday the 13th tattoos (as it was that day) or small pieces. It wasn't until I hiked up my skirt to show him my ink covered legs that he spoke to me like a human and not some dumb white basic bitch. I get judged for too many tats, so getting treated like I'm wasting your time because he thinks I have none is just annoying. He charged me $100 for a birthday in roman numbers on my trap. I tipped... not because he deserved it, but because its etiquette. My boyfriend had a much better experience with his guy who charged only $80 for a balloon with a basket and the stick figure man climbing up. So, yeah. I swore I wouldn't be getting anymore tattoos... BUT, to make a long story short, my best friend (who lives 1000+ miles away) and I, decided to be really stupid and mushy and get matching stars on our wrists...so that we could always look at the same star even though we were so far away (can somebody get Fifel from An American Tale in here please...?) We walked into this place, while on vacation together. It looked legit. Other people were getting tattooed and theirs looked nice. One little star on the wrist...can't mess that up, right? HMMMM. We both got them done and they just didn't look right. We thought it might be because of the area and the swelling, but by the next morning, we knew they were just totally fucked up. We returned to the shop the to get them fixed, and another artist was very apologetic and fixed them for us (NOTE: Getting tattooed over a fresh tattoo is probably one of the most painful things you can get done. My friend said it was worse than childbirth - she has 2 kids). They looked 100 times better, but I immediately had a bad feeling mine was going to get infected. Now, I have been tattooed 11 times, and my others are about 50 times the size of this one. Not once have I even gotten irritation, but this one hurt immediately. Here I am, 6 days later....swollen, in pain and on antibiotics, because this crap is infected. Not ok. The 2nd time we were in there, I noticed things that I ignored for some reason the first time. The place just wasn't as clean as it could be upon closer inspection, though it has a nice facade. Supplies are disorganized...things were just not 100%. I just pray I don't get necrotic fasciitis from this infection. I don't recommend this place at all. UPDATE: 3 weeks of healing and 14 days worth of SERIOUS antibiotics later (side-effects of those not pretty), my tattoo is not infected anymore. I lost most of the ink, which means I'll need to have it touched up in the next several months, once it's totally healed. Let's hope it does better next time around! read more

I went to get my septum pierced and the only person who "could pierce" didn't ask me to pick my jewelry nor did she measure my nose. She pierced it completely crooked the first time and argued with me when I told her (I think she just didn't feel like doing it over). It wasn't until I tilted my head back and you could c how obviously slanted the piercing needle had had to go in that she finally took it out. At this point, I'm gearing up for round 2 of having my nose stabbed...but this time she couldn't get the needle through all the way. Idk what she was thinking but I heard the first pop and then the needle just stayed stuck there; she kept twisting it and turning it to break through the back layer of skin. After a while- at this point I have rivers of tears involuntarily streaming down my face- she pulls the needle out and goes for the THIRD try. Best part: I absolutely HATE the way this piercing looks, it's hanging off the edge of my nose, which was not the specific look I wanted. Like the actual ring is pierced at the VERY END of my nostril. The lady didn't even give me care directions. I had to ask her what I should do to take care of it and she said just use warm water no saline what?!?! Anyhow, I cried the WHOLE way home and have to go back today to have the OTHER piercer take another stab at my nose. I'm so scared DO NOT GO HERE, THERES ANOTHER TATT/PIERCING SHOP LITERALY 100 YARDS AWAY ON THE 2nd FLOOR OF BEACH PLACE . AND THEY THAT KNOW WHAT TF THEYRE DOING.
