We're done with this place. The last two times we've been, the place smells like mildew, the food tastes like it had been sitting in the fridge for weeks, barely heated up, not fresh at all. Service was good, and food overall was okay -- I had a reuben with a side of coleslaw, it checked all the boxes for a decent meal. However, as others have noted, there are flies all around, expect unwelcome dining guests. My table also had a sticky mystery substance covering some parts, really disconcerting. I'd love to give this place a higher rating, but they need to take their physical space more seriously before I can say I'd come back. We came here for my sister's birthday and we were quoted an hour and a half wait. We got lucky because we only waited for 20 minutes since the people ahead of us were no shows and the manager decided to seat those waiting in the lobby. Overall the ambience is great as it is updated and clean look to the restaurant. We started out with the Santa Maria bruschetta and it was delicious! It did get very filling with the cheese on there. Their portions of their entrees were big and definitely fills you up! I got the fish taco and I was not disappointed! It was very warm and fresh when it was served to me. I got to try the mash potatoes from my sister's plate and that was amazing! Highly recommend coming back here and checking out their brunch menu in the future! They weren't especially busy and about half the tables were empty, but we still waited 20 minutes to be seated. I suspect, like everyone else, they're having a hard time finding workers. Typical pub food, which is fine, but we waited a long time for it, and when it finally arrived the food was cold. Not lukewarm. Cold. Ambiance was okay... a little bit loud, even though they didn't have loud music, because there are no sound absorbing surfaces. Food is okay, but really surprised to see a 3% surcharge added to our total ticket when I saw our receipt. No where were to notified of this charge. Also their default tip amount was 20%, not15 or 18 like all other restaurants. This is not a five star restaurant, but rather a 1 star bar and Grill. Food and drinks are way overpriced. The good- the waiter did a nice job and the food arrived quickly. the decor is very nice and the bathrooms were clean! The not so good: Asked for sauces on the side but that was not done. We ordered a couple of appetizers and they were ok but small portions and expensive even with the happy hour $4 off special. we received the bill and were told we had a surcharge for using a credit card. We went on Saturday evening. I was surprised there was no wait. The restaurant was empty. We had a party of six and were told we needed to squeeze into a booth for four. When I asked about other, larger tables, we were told they couldn't seat those tables even though they were right next to us. Then we found out why. They started to take the tables and chairs away, stacking them up by a wall. We were told they were getting ready for Sunday brunch...while the restaurant was opened? With people trying to eat? Right next to us? The team breaking down were very "relaxed" not professional. They were yelling and joking. The tables and chairs scraped the floor, the stacking was loud. I felt like the restaurant was closed and we were there after hours. I even checked hours on line. It said it was opened until 10, we went to the restaurant around 7:30ish. My suggestion would be to have the manager or owner try to eat with a larger party at this time and see what it is like. I'm not surprised it was empty. I won't go back. I also didn't think the food was worth the price. But that was hard to judge with the atmosphere. I might have liked the food more if I wasn't so squished. read more

After being told the wait would be 15-20 minutes and watching many people leave in frustration, we should have taken the hint. However, we decided to wait it out and try to be understanding, service is slow, we get it .... 35 minutes later, they sent us a text our table was ready, hurray! We went to the counter, and stood behind a lady who was arguing over her bill with the Host & manager ... as we stood there waiting, the other hostess was speaking to another party to seat them. After the lady arguing over her bill finally left, the host turned his attention to us, we said we got a text our table was ready - he asked for our name and then said, I don't have you on our list - my wife said we just received the text and he said "I'm sorry, we don't have a table, it will be 35-45 minutes" - my wife said "but we just got this text" and as she was showing the host the phone, the manger turned and yelled at my wife "these are teenagers there is no reason to confront them" - my wife said but "we just received this text", and the manager cut her off, and continued to verbally chew us for speaking to the host, like we were bothering them .... until she finally turned to the host and said "just seat them" .... We were dumbfounded - it would be one thing if we had spoken to her or said anything out of line to the host, but we were both so shocked, we hadnt even say a word ..... my wife turned and looked at me and said, we don't need this .... I agree .... I looked at the lady and said you should be embarrassed and we left - I realize she may be having a bad day, or was upset by having to argue with the previous lady over her bill, or dealing with "teenagers" as she called them - but we were just happy to be out for the night and really didn't care - we had no other plans and were not in any rush ... we just wanted to enjoy dinner ..... but for her to turn on us like that for waiting patently - unacceptable - I will NEVER go there again - and I can assure you, I will let everyone know the service we received ... absolutly terrible Times like this, owners should really think about who they are putting at the counter representing there business .... read more

Family went there a few weeks later, they asked to get To go box for pizza. They said they would do it and took the pizza and never returned with it! Last time was with coworkers from out of state. One didn't get drink refill for 30 minutes but we could see they were sitting on the bar rail. Why? They said the french onion soup was inedible because too salty. My family stopped in here for lunch on our road trip. We got there about 3 so it wasn't very busy. We got sat right away and greeted by our server right away. She was friendly and helpful with the menu. We had the artichoke and crab dip and the cheese curds for an appetizer. They both came out hot and fresh. The dip was very flavorful and the cheese was perfectly cooked. The cheese curds were great! Your able to built your own burgers, salads, and pizzas. My daughters thought that was fun. We ended up ordering 5 salads and a burger. The burger came out cooked perfect and exactly as we ordered it with a side of mashed potatoes. The salads all came out with fresh ingredients. One had grilled chicken that came out juicy and cooked perfect. One salad had salmon on it which was a bit over cooked but still had great flavor. For a dessert they had a make your own s'mores so we ordered that. It comes out with a little pot that has flammable stuff in it that they light to make a small fire and you roast and put together your own s'mores. This place is family friendly and has a fun atmosphere. The employees were all super friendly. They have a good selection and variety on their menu. The service on the night we went was slightly slow but the place was packed on a Friday night and we were in a bigger party. The waitress we had was very sweet though. We had the Bang, Bang Shrimp and Crab Artichoke Dip as a table appetizer for the group. The Bang, Bang Shrimp was very good crispy with a good covering of sauce. The Crab dip was fabulous! Will definitely get that again! My wife had a order of the Boneless Chicken Wings, which we're actually small strips of chicken breast which was different. The buffalo sauce was mild and good. My wife also had the All Thai'd Up Salad which unfortunately was heavy in vinegar. The restaurant did take it off the bill and agreed and scrapped the batch. Sitting at the bar, I was served by a desultory bartender who sure looked like she didn't want to be there. So I decided to get something simple and not go crazy. A chicken sandwich with fries and a Caesar salad. For maybe the first time ever dining out, everything was awful. The salad was over dressed with old limp lettuce.
