This company is a straight up scam. They don't have any CPA's on staff. They just refer you to a tax strategist. Mine offered zero options for strategies that were not completely sketchy. I reviewed each suggested strategy with my CPA. None of them passed the sniff test. I called back to tax hive to let them know it was a total disappointment. They said they would have someone call me. It took months for anyone to call me, only to say they were the wrong person and they would have someone else call me back. Never heard from them again. I had high hopes for Tax Hive, but am now writing to ensure other small business owners to fall victim to their scam. Tax Hive promised a 2024 tax strategy as part of their service. What they delivered was entirely impractical. For example, one of their suggested "strategies" was to hire my children in 2024--advice they provided on 12/27/2024. Implementing such a strategy with only a few days remaining in the year is simply not feasible. None of the recommendations were realistic or actionable, falling far short of the guarantee they advertised. When I raised this issue, they refused to take accountability. Instead of reviewing my complaint in good faith, they insisted I follow their rigid and unnecessary process of scheduling a meeting with a senior tax advisor--an appointment that isn't even available for 6 weeks out. I repeatedly asked for flexibility and understanding given the circumstances, but every time, I got the same robotic response: "This is our process." Their process isn't about helping customers; it's about delaying and denying legitimate refund requests. They don't honor their guarantees, and their so-called strategies are generic. I paid about $1,000 to have my taxes done. They did not complete them by April 15th and filed an extension without my knowledge. Some sort of communication would have been nice. I had 2 maybe 3 consultations with them and was not impressed with their knowledge. They told me false information about being a day trader and what I needed to do tax wise. Not at all worth it. I have an accounting background. Most people won't know the lack of work until they are audited. This company is nonsense. Our initial Onboarding Meeting at the end of November seemed hopeful as we needed a bookkeeper so we can focus on our business of building homes. However the services delivered and customer service have been slim to none. After On Boarding Meeting next contact wasn't until one month later, December 30th My Jan 5th email (30 days later) was not responded to until Jan 11th (almost 45 days after On Boarding) and that was after we sent a "waiting to hear back" emails several times. Even though according to the manager they responses to incoming emails within 24-48 hours. We requested a meeting to give them access to the needed information/ receipts, mortgage payment breakdowns on our projects , as discussed at the Onboarding Meeting. However we received an email 45 days later after they charged our account double snd the arrogant bookkeeper said "regular meetings are not necessary". We wanted, and asked for a meeting, because we believe in regular communication with our team, to be on same page and work out issues, especially at the beginning. We answer questions, and resolve mistakes...but no response to date confirming another meeting, 60 days later. Books are NOT up to date (except for a few transactions we corrected). There were many errors on the little work that was done and mistakes which we would have addressed and provided direction for in the meetings we wanted to have. WE HAVE NOT been provided financial statements, reconciliations, charges going to the correct projects, as expected. At this point, she and no one else has provided us with any report and communication. However they have taken several months of funds. People may not know the extent of lack of work unless they are audited. read more

I wish the services was all that it was made out to be by the salesperson who talked me into signing up. My customer service person changed three times and would take up to two weeks to respond. They screwed up my taxes which were revised by the IES. When I complained they said somebody would reach out to discuss which never happened. read more

I signed up for their Tax Plan and it was a terrible mistake and a waste of ~$2500. All they suggested was investing more towards IRA and applying Augusta Rule to my business. They just use a simple standard template to cheat people. Stay away from these guys. read more
