We're a military family and although we have moved from the area, we are still able to send everything electronically without problems. In fact, the service is so prompt that I'm usually the one lagging when it comes to signing documents :-) The rates are beyond reasonable, the staff friendly, and the quality of service.... well, it is outstanding! I don't have a complicated tax return, but after attempting to "DIY" with some junk HR Block software, I surrendered and did a Google search. Steven and his team are on the job. My first meet was 4 weeks before the Covid2020 lock down and my return was still done ahead of time and it was disinfected. The Hamilton business focuses on efficiency and keeping money in my pocket. We were referred by friends and all seemed great at first. When things are going as expected, no problem. The issue occurred when a filing deadline was missed. Mistakes, errors and miscommunications happen. But how a leader handles these speaks volumes and in our case, we were met with blame, avoidance and excuses. Even though we asked to speak with Steven directly, he refused to get on a call with us. We were told "you have only one tax advisor but we have many clients". That should never be said. Instead of speaking with us directly, he had somebody completely new thrown into the situation talk to us. She was great and did her best in a truly difficult situation. But how he handled the situation was unacceptable and spoke volumes of how conflict is handled. I would not recommend.
