Well, I should have bet money, because I was right - since it wasn't squeaking when I brought it in, Frankie drove it around a little until it started making noise, and confirmed with me that it was the serpentine. He also pointed out that I was due for new brakes, which I was aware of. He quoted me extremely fair, honest prices for both jobs. L&D charges $65 per hour for labor, and the serpentine belt was a 30 minute job - and that's what I was charged for. Some shops have a "one hour minimum" that they like to charge for (or at least they do in California) and I was happy to see that wasn't the case at L&D. He also patched a spot on some wiring where a rodent had decided to nibble, and rotated my tires, all for no charge. Everyone at the shop was very polite and kind. I'll likely be returning in the future.

If Ralph can't handle your problem, he will be the first to admit it. I trust him and his work and tell that to my friends and family. I find the negative reviews almost unbelievable.
