The location itself is convenient though, just at the corner of MacLaren and Elgin. Once I figured out where the spa was I was impressed--it was warm and comfortable, there's a waterfall in the waiting room and calming music playing to create a nice relaxing ambiance. I saw Brittany and she was awesome. She was friendly and she made me feel comfortable and did a good job answering my questions. The room was clean, well-kept and prepared freshly before I went in. I've been to other laser hair removal clinics and the speed and lack of detail was disappointing. I highly recommend DermaLuxe. If you can tolerate some laser pain, this is great. The cooling tip on the laser helps a lot, and some sensitive areas I use numbing cream, but overall, it's not a bad experience. Less painful than waxing for sure.

If you go before 5 PM, you usually do not have to wait since everyone is still at school and work. This clinic is situated inside the Rideau Centre. There is not much free parking since it is right beside the University of Ottawa. You will have to pay for parking but is transportation friendly. Usually the person who greets you at the front is the person who will be with you for that day. The service is always friendly. There are numerous deals from laser, Botox. filler and serums for the body.

Even when Top Nails opened up their second location, I followed Tracy because she very good at mani and pedi's. I always got dip powder and a regular pedi and she never disappointed me. Always kind and professional, the employees always refer to you as "my dear". I never had any issues with Tracy or others, I wish that I could've packed them up and brought them to the States lol. The new location at 500 bank street is clean and quiet - whether a day of self-care or a long work day anyone would appreciate that type of ambiance.
