Out of the nine appointments I have booked, four have been moved or rescheduled on the day of the appointment. One appointment was rescheduled twice, and another was rescheduled three separate times. The reasons given have included a flat tire, a migraine, and oversleeping. My most recent experience was especially disappointing. I intentionally booked the appointment less than 24 hours in advance, thinking that since the appointment had to be confirmed, there would be a better chance it would be honored as scheduled. Nikki confirmed the appointment at 4:00 PM the day before, but then contacted me the morning of the appointment asking to move it to a different time. Looking back, it seems that morning appointments were the ones most frequently canceled or rescheduled. While I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can happen, the repeated pattern of same-day schedule changes over multiple years has made it difficult to rely on appointments and plan my own schedule. The quality of the eyebrow waxing service itself has been good, but professionalism also includes respecting clients' time and maintaining reliable scheduling. Unfortunately, the frequent last-minute changes have left me frustrated and unable to confidently book future appointments.

I have been coming to Shiva for many months now and she is The BEST at threading! Not only she does my brows on point but she gives me tips on how to make them thicker and more beautiful every time!! My wedding is next week and Shiva made them so PERFECT once again!! I also love coming to my waxing with Rafaela! She uses this Homemade sugar paste, the same method I used to get in Brazil! I have been waxing my eyebrows for a long time and they never seem to come out even. I thought I would switch over to threading and it is so much better than waxing. Shiva did a great job shaping my eyebrows and gave me all the do's and don'ts on how to make sure my eyebrows stay looking good. After applying the lifting solution, she left the room for much of the processing time, which differed from my previous lash lift experiences where the technician typically stays in the room to monitor the lashes. When she returned, she let me know that the lift did not take at all and showed me with a mirror. I initially thought she was joking, as I've had multiple lash lifts before and have never had this happen. My lashes are naturally very straight, yet there was no visible lift. She also mentioned afterward that she had concerns my lashes might not take when she first saw them. I feel that if there was uncertainty about my lash type or likelihood of success, that conversation should have happened before starting the service so expectations were clear. The treatment table was uncomfortable, and the room was not very relaxing. There was noticeable noise from outside, and no music or calming atmosphere, which took away from the overall experience. While she remained polite throughout, the result and overall experience did not meet my expectations.
