[[HIGHLIGHT]]I have been a client of Spa By Nikki since 2023 for eyebrow waxing services, but unfortunately the scheduling reliability has become a recurring issue.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Out of the nine appointments I have booked, four have been moved or rescheduled on the day of the appointment. One appointment was rescheduled twice, and another was rescheduled three separate times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The reasons given have included a flat tire, a migraine, and oversleeping.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]My most recent experience was especially disappointing. I intentionally booked the appointment less than 24 hours in advance, thinking that since the appointment had to be confirmed, there would be a better chance it would be honored as scheduled. Nikki confirmed the appointment at 4:00 PM the day before, but then contacted me the morning of the appointment asking to move it to a different time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Looking back, it seems that morning appointments were the ones most frequently canceled or rescheduled.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]While I understand that emergencies and unexpected situations can happen, the repeated pattern of same-day schedule changes over multiple years has made it difficult to rely on appointments and plan my own schedule.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The quality of the eyebrow waxing service itself has been good, but professionalism also includes respecting clients' time and maintaining reliable scheduling. Wow, what a difference. I had Nikki do powder brows on me and OMG! They are fabulous. For reference, I'm 66 yrs old and my brows were looking a bit sparse and faded, so Nikki worked her magic and now they are full and dark again. I highly recommend getting your brows done. Updated review. My brows lasted two months, so much longer than threading and I loved her so much I came back. Definitely got my $24 worth and the shape so was so amazing it was easy to maintain myself in the in between time. Love that she has an easy to book online system. Google brows by Nikki online and book your apt today. You do have to put a credit card down to avoid people bailing last minute and you will be charged if you do not give notice before canceling. I tried really hard to not be upset about my eyebrows. I got a lamination in preparation for a wedding and Nikki accidently dropped wax onto my right brow while working on my left. She knew that this was a mess up, apologized, and tried to scrape it off with her nails. Instead of washing it out, she ripped off 1/3 of my eyebrow before I could say anything. I get that warm water/soap would potentially wash out lamination treatment but I'd rather have no treatment than this. Normally I don't have my eyebrows waxed out of fear of overdoing it but there is no option for just lamination. I hoped for a fluffy brow look and my worst fears have come true. It really sucks to have to fill it in my eyebrow for the next 3 months while I pray it grows back. I gave 2 stars because I understand this is a small business. Nikki was polite and the office had a good ambiance. However, I will not be returning and do not recommend. read more
