Had a great experience at this location. I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and was able to get my eyebrows down rather quickly. There was only one woman in front of me and I waited for just under 10 minutes. They do a quick, clean job and I left happy with the shape of my brows. Not to mention, the service was only $10! There is street parking, which is 25 cents for 15 min. I was able to find a spot right in front of the building but I can see how this might be an issue. read more

I visited the Threading Place last thursday for the first time and had a great experience. I arrived around 4pm and there were 3 women ahead of me. You don't need an appointment, you just enter your name into their online waiting list. I was seen after 15-20 minutes. The lady did a great job shaping my eyebrows. I do wish that the trimming/cutting of the brows was more precise but they still looked excellent when she was finished. For $10 you really can't beat it. read more

She told me she's only there on Sundays. She was so gentle, precise and quick. My skin is very sensitive and no matter how many times I've gotten them threaded, it always hurts. Not this time!! This place is great! On a Saturday afternoon, there was no wait. Street parking is not hard to find ($1/hr with a 3 hour max). Pradeepa did a wonderful job! Because she threaded slowly, it was not painful. The salon is clean. They have three staff threading to help move traffic in and out of the salon. At the newbury location, they typically only have one staff member threading at a time. I would recommend the Medford location and go back again! read more

This place is the best for threading and only threading. Do not come here for anything else. I've been to a few different threading places and they weren't good; the threading would be too painful. All the ladies that work here know what they're doing! I've met all of them since I've been going here for years. There isn't any privacy since it's a kiosk location, but they're all very quick so no worries! The best part about threading is no zits, pimples, redness, or allergic reaction. Oh, and it's cheaper! (8 bucks for eyebrows!) TIPS!: 1. If it's your first time threading after a history of waxing, do not go threading with the amount of hair as you would threading! Even though threading lasts longer (3 weeks for me), it WILL be more painful if you have longer hair. The sooner the better! 2. Give them tips! read more

5 stars for everyone at the threading place. The only person you should consider retraining is Pradipa. She seems to be a nice person but when it comes to threading, I have always had a tough time with it and now I have decided to choose my times to not visit this place when she is working because always, she has to do my threading twice or thrice as she doesn't get it right the first time. It's painful and harmful to the facial skin. She doesn't apply enough pressure on the skin with the thread the first time itself. Ishwara on the other hand is a wonderful threader! Please ensure that you have Pradipa retrained or have someone else handle the salon along with her. read more

The place is cheap and the parking is aplenty, but I wouldn't recommend this place for eyebrow threading. They don't seem to know how to shape your eyebrows! They completely messed up my eyebrows, which is the most prominent feature of my face! I will no longer be going there. read more

I've been going to this place for my eyebrows ever since they were located at Meadow Glen mall. They are great, I don't have a specific threader, they are all good at what they do. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon it was fairly quiet with one employee and lots of street parking available. If you get threading done frequently, they have an electronic system that allows you to get one free threading after a certain amount of visits. read more
