There's frequently something going on in Booklovers, author talks, book signing, and demonstrations. They have a large book selection to pick from including local authors and autographed copies of books. There is also a good selection of used and children's books in the back part of the store. I love the selection of gifts also, cards, jewelry, honey. I'm sure you could find something here for lots of people on your list! Make sure you try one of their delicious made to order drinks, coffees or smoothies and take a look in their dessert case for an amazing treat!

My aunt and I came out from New York and we had a great day. It had just started to snow so the grounds were beautiful. We spent so much time in this store and enjoyed every minute of it. There is so much to see. Literally ceiling to floor; wall to wall of Christmas decorations. It's beautiful. I had to take pictures of it all. I wanted to show everyone back home. We were so lucky when we came it wasnt very crowded so we didn't feel rushed; I love the ornaments I bought and my aunt was really happy with her purchases as well. We keep talking about returning, but it is a 6 hour drive from where we live. Maybe this coming year. Also, and the best part of the store honestly is the gentleman who owns the place. He was so nice and just lovely to talk to. We had told him we were from out of town and he wasn't the type of guy that just brushes you off after you make your purchase. He was very down to earth and made conversation with us. He recommended this great antique shop to stop on the way home. He even gave me some a carton of cider on the house. Very nice guy! I saw so many things I wanted to get! Unfortunately, some of them were way to big to wrangle home, but nonetheless it was fun looking around. The place had a mix of authentic antiques and new made to look old stuff in a few booths. A number of booths featured vintage clothing, and home decor, with the full rainbow of small collectibles and ephemera. Also, as an out-of-towner, the directions took me to the front of the store, with only street parking, but there was a parking lot behind the building, and other fun shops in the building. This was on a lower level. Definitely a spot worth wandering around if you like old things.

All right alongside a plastic sushi that will crawl across the table when you wind it up, tie-dyed infant onesies, and... chocolate-covered sesame seeds? Weird and great mix of stuff, and the people who work there will tell you the story behind each and every thing they have...who made it, where it came from, etc. Seems like they carry lots of things from emerging artists, which is something I love to support. I get how it got its name... it's impossible to leave there not feeling happy!

We were so excited to find a store that was open and had such interesting items for sale. Tons of local art including pottery, paintings, jewelry, children's clothes, toys, art for your garden, etc. They have something for anyone in this store. I ended up finding and purchasing two small bags of seeds, in which a local woman had spent time gardening and developing unique versions of plants and then collected the seeds to sell. What?! So cool! Not only does the store have the most unique and beautiful items, the woman who owns the store could not be more friendly and sweet! If you're in the area, make sure to stop by this shop!

I went to Worcester Wares to order some custom shirts for my small business. I paid the full price up front (mistake on my part) and patiently waited for the project to progress. I promptly sent in all of the graphics needed to make the various shirts I had ordered. Months into the project I was informed the the owner was dealing with some personal matters, which I was understanding and patient about. She did deliver some of the products I had ordered, and indicated that she was working on the remaining products. Some of the shirts had a defect, which she said she would rectify. The hoodies that I ordered were supposed to feature a large logo on they back, which the ones she delivered did not. After that visit, it was radio silence. I sent several emails and messages inquiring about timeframe for delivering the remaining items, but did not get any response from her, or from anyone at Worcester Wares. I began this process in early December 2025, and paid for my items in full at our initial meeting. It is now May the following year, and I have not hard anything from the owner since February when she dropped off a few of the items I had ordered, despite several emails and phone calls. Unfortunately I would not recommend Worcester Wares to another business. I am now out several hundred dollars and have only a small handful of the shirts that I ordered, some of which were not made as ordered. Very disappointing.

Each time we were given a date for review of the artwork, or to see a mock-up, we NEVER heard from her. Texts, calls and emails went unanswered for weeks and weeks. We went back to the store several times and were only given excuses. This was a special project that we were excited about and it never happened. Interestingly, she told us that "small businesses value every nickel" spent, and then, nothing!
