If you're looking for a place to have a quality pub feed at a ridiculously cheap price, The Tin bar and grill is definitely a place to hit up. I was amazed at the size of the portions I was served and the care taken to the dish. The chef there must really love what he does. It's not hard to see why.
After finishing my dinner and downing a few drinks, I'd noticed that the sun had disappeared and there was a new crowd, a mix of students and backpackers mingling amongst each other and having a great time. I felt the youthful and playful atmosphere The Tin was promoting and was sucked right in.
On stage a band struck up, playing mostly covers that got the crowd onto the dance floor and jubilantly dancing. After the band finished a few more drinks and some new friends made a noticed that a DJ had set up on stage. With a mixture of new and classic dance music he whipped the crowd into frenzy, or at least until around midnight, when everyone started to disappear and the doors began to close.
It only it could have lasted for a little bit longer. I'm so going back there again. read more
