I asked if they also do gutters. He gave me a solid estimate that beats the competition. Definitely value for money. I asked for a proposal to be sent via email. And agreed to it. I scheduled a time for them to come. They mentioned between 9-10am. When the scheduled day arrived. No one came. I messaged ricardo and was advised they will come the next day. The work was done by Leo and Manuel. They arrived at 930am. First they started with the roof. And installed the gutter. Unfortunately, they weren't able to finish the gutter because of a missing part. The next day, they mentioned they will be back the same time (9-10). Unfortunately, it was a different person that arrived and it was around 12noon. He was done within 30minutes. I was happy with the work. They were able to send the photos of the roof pre and post. Unfortunately, I found some companies out there that I would not have them do any work for me. In some cases it was like they did not want the work. Some even had as long as a week to two weeks just to get a quote. And would you believe one even wanted to take a portion my roof off, which jacked the price way up. Some of the quotes I received were way off the charts. I was becoming disappointed with what was out there till I contacted ARG. I couldn't believe how they responded so quickly and how fast they got the job done. All I had to do was send them a photo of the work needed and they immediately gave me a quote. Within couple of days the rain gutter was installed. The instillation only took a little over an hour (one 27ft piece with down spout) and it was done. Although I would say Rain Solutions are great for a removal or new install for gutters, they fall short in the following areas. 1. Looking for more work than requested. They wanted to add gutters to my garage and suggested all new gutters to the whole house to replace the old 4" gutters. 2. Did not do a ground clean up after they were finished. We called the owner, who was present to take pre and post pictures of the gutters, and he said he wanted to show the debris areas to his workers, but we had already cleaned up our property. This means he had to have seen the condition of the cleaning debris if he was present taking post picture of the completed work. I'm familiar with this pattern of work practices. It wasn't just a "hey, sometime in the future, you might want to replace these gutters, they're looking a bit rough." This was a "hey you need this and that and new this and that, here's a quote in addition to the cleaning if you'd like us to do that." I can't stand crews that don't clean the mess that they made. I'm not expecting the house to be washed down, but there shouldn't be scattered dirt, "sand" and moldy leaves all over the sidewalks, hedges, trees and patio furniture. And I won't tolerate flat out lying when the owner was present during completion of the work. But if you're not bothered by being upsold and feel that crews shouldn't clean up after themselves caused by their work, and have the income to not be bugged by this, then I highly recommend this company. I need to give major kudos to Rio Rico because of a few things: 1) no nonsense and no sales gimmicks; 2) super fast in responding to not only inquiries but getting someone out for an estimate, as well a as answering questions in between; 3) professional. They're not the cheapest out there, but they're not the most expensive either. But what they do offer is quality work. We needed to get our gutters replaced after only 2 years because the original installers did such a half-assed job that the corners were leaking badly after the last batch of rain we had, and then upon checking out how bad it was while up on the roof, checked other sections from the top and found a couple roof tiles cracked/broken. Not saying the previous guys were at fault but no one else has been up there since the original install. Sylvia (front office), Martin and Abel (installers) were awesome throughout the entire experience. Pretty much took less than 2 weeks from the initial call to completion.
