Omar and I spent some time mapping out new downspouts for both function and style. Old system didn't have nearly enough so a lot of standing water in the gutters. Day before install we decided to switch colors to black and Omar was more than accommodating. This put him back one day on the schedule so now he has to work late into a Saturday night to finish the job. But Omar did a great job and has an attention to detail. Now we wait for the rains to see how this works out but looks great so far !

We already had another estimate to compare and there was no comparison. Raul is very easy to deal with. The pricing was fair and on Tuesday we committed and on Saturday (same week) we had the installation. Raul's crew is very competent and efficient! Hard workers! Got the job done in one day - 130 linear ft gutters. And 90 ft downspouts. Cleaned up after and Raul was on site working the whole day. Then on day to repair poked holes in the gutters that weren't there before. Two, the estimate had no discount offered which was unexpected. I reached out to Alexander and he said management would re-estimate. We never heard from your company again. Three, the original (undiscounted) estimate was $43,000 for copper ( 130 linear feet plus 90 downspout) or $200 a linear ft. $7,800 for aluminum. $200 a ft for copper is 5 times what we paid another company. Please stick to the truth in your replies.

We were happy with the work they did replacing our old Cement Tile roof with new lightweight material.

We had several items we needed addressed on the roof. First, we were getting an array of solar…read morepanels installed. The roof was 37 years old, and we wanted to replace the roofing paper now rather than wait a few years after the panels were in. Second, the solar guys wanted to have shingles under the panels instead of clay tiles which are required by our HOA. Third , we needed to address a couple of issues the inspector identified when we bought our house including wood rot and blocked (and possibly damaged) valleys. Finally, the gutters were a mess, and there were no gutters in a couple of places where they were needed. Wences quote for all the work was very competitive. Our solar guys had worked with them before with excellent results. And their reviews on Yelp and elsewhere are excellent. We are very happy with the results. Solar install went well. Some of the roofing work had to wait for the solar to complete, but the Wences guys were quick to return when that work was done. We had a pretty bad storm with heavy rain and high winds a couple of weeks ago, and absolutely no problems. Even the gutters were quiet (we've had gutters installed in our last house and they sounded like the water was dripping in the house!) We are perfectly happy with the work both by Wences Roofing and by Eduardo from South County Rain Gutter. They are both highly recommended. It is always a relief when you find somebody who not only does a good job themselves, but who can also point you to other contractors who do a great job. Really reduces the stress level of getting work done. Roberto Wences is one of those guys.
