Tiny Tiki is still alive and well! I was a little confused at first as there haven't been recent reviews or social media updates, so I wasn't sure if it had permanently closed. But it's open, recently moved, and absolutely worth visiting. It's a tiki-themed bar serving my kind of drinks -- boozy and tropical. I only tried two this time, but I'll definitely be back to sample more. On a Friday night, there was live music, good vibes, and bartenders who genuinely looked like they were having fun. This is exactly what the name says, a very tiny tiki bar! Even on a Thursday night, it was packed with barely any room to sit. With that said, this place is great! So relaxing with the tropical feel and a great place to go if you are just looking to hang out with friends. Perfect for a night where you are looking to have a chill evening without any crazy rowdy music. Only thing is that this bar is in a very sketchy part of town, so be careful and don't go by yourself! read more

I'm so in love with this little Tiki lounge. Such a great atmosphere-a lot of attention to detail. Excellent drink list as well as beer in cans and on tap. The Tradewind and Chi Chi were refreshing. Very clever little spot here in the Spo. I love the space. It is definitely tiny. The vibes are all sorts of fun and vibrant in here. From the decor, to the lighting, to the menu, to the drinks...all of it is awesome! Tasty mai tais, and pina coladas, and all things vacay in your mouth! Super cozy and such a tropical feel that you have to appreciate in the winter that is for sure. The commitment to bringing the tropical vibes is so awesome, I am really a fan! Tiny is right. It definitely felt polynesian. Great vibe and music. The drinks not so much... they were like gasoline. No flavor, just alcohol. I couldn't finish first drink the Jungle Bird. I opted to try another drink the Painkiller. It was not sweet at all. I may try again cause I loved hanging out in there. read more

The tiny tiki embodies its name in the most wonderful of fashions. It's small... maybe 15 people at most should be in here at any one time. The compact bar allows room for only one bartender at a time, and they are busy concocting artful cocktails...so order, and canoodle with your sweetie in one of the cosy vignettes. Decked in vintage South Pacific kitsch straight out of your grandparents honeymoon trip to vintage 1950's Waikiki. Teal, bamboo, silk florals, mood lighting and mood music round out the experience. Get the coldest freshest mai tai you ever mai-tried when they use the nitro. Even the straws are special and we ended up taking them home to use again. Epic mic drop of a bar open from former Bartlett bartender and Super Sparkle band member Claire Fieberg. Total commitment to theme. Would be appropriate to wear beach wear, or your Hawaiian prints if you so choose. Noticed small photo of Elvis on a surfboard and felt very pleased. Loved the musical vibes. Ambiance is totally unique to Spokane. Would recommend for groups of 2-4 and date night as space accommodates those size groups the best. A must stop for your Spokane evening, especially if you enjoy rum and coconut flavors! read more

This place makes the best authentic tropical drinks and for awhile makes you forget it's winter. Are you looking to escape, yet not in the mood to drive? Your next tropical vacation awaits! The decor is so authentic seeming, the indoor palms blow in the breeze and boom your in a carribean hut! The atmosphere delivers as do the cocktails which have been carefully crafted by a knowledgeable owner who is passionate about her skill. I would highly recommend the painkiller and also the le croix cocktail, which were balanced and deadly ( no alcoholic burn like a good tiki drink should be). Spokane was long overdue for a joint like this. :) read more

Beautiful tiki themed baby size bar tucked on the outskirts of downtown Spokane. Decor is stunning, drinks are easy, breezy and laid back. The music is phenomenal. I heard a Pixies b side and pavement within minutes of each other. Go for the novelty, stay for the atmosphere. read more

This is a cool little place on Second Avenue. It has a tiki theme as the name suggests. It has rum and tropical drinks. No real food except goldfish crackers. The decor is great and the service has always been great when I have been there. If you like rum and tropical drinks it is definitely a place you should visit. The only downside is the part of town (definitely transitional and may not be the safest area late at night) and the fact that they open at 6 even on Friday. Many people like to meet for a drink earlier on Friday like 4:30/5 and this place doesn't open until 6. It's not like there is a neighborhood to enjoy before it opens as all the other businesses close at 5:30 and there are quite a few transients around so there isn't anywhere to hang out and wait till it opens. Other than these drawbacks its a great place! read more

I enjoyed the tropical/havana vibe and ambiance of this place. A little tight on space, but it gives the feel that you can easily make friends and get to know people. The only bartender last Wednesday night was super nice and friendly. She is doing an amazing job bartending, answering all the questions and request coming at her throughout the night. Go! Adorable, delicious, and nothing like it in Spokane! There's the classic tiki drinks and a few extras. Has the perfect tiki vibe and is just soooo cute and the owner/bartender was so wonderful to chat with and obviously has a fun passion for her work! I recommend the tequila passion. read more

The service was good but honestly the drinks really left something to be desired. Also, it's really tiny and only one bartender. When we were there (a group of about 8) we basically filled the place up. Another group of 10-12 came in and it was overcrowded and the bartender just couldn't keep up with everything. She had a great personality and was wonderfully friendly though. read more

We just checked this place out after seeing it in Krem News, it was such a cute place. Their drinks ranged from sweet tropical to refreshingly mild. The bartender was sweet and made great drinks, the place had a nice relaxing vibe to it and the prices are reasonable. We will definitely be going back soon and hope to bring friends. read more

Tried two drinks. The painkiller and the mai tai. Both drinks were pretty good, a bit extra boozy even for a tiki drink but still good. The decor and music was solid. Good use of the tiny space. Could use a few more drink options, the menu is limited but what they do offer they make well. read more

This is a great bar! Drinks are at various price points so anyone can go: the $2 beers are eye-catching for sure. The decorations are dope and the dedication to adhering to the tiki theme couldn't be higher! Love the colors, the music, and be vibe in general. This bar is in a sketchy area, though, so don't walk there and especially don't leave alone after you've had a drink or two. Service is personable and I've already told multiple friends to try the Tiny Tiki out! :) read more

We went here right after they opened and had fantastic drinks. They were strong and slightly sweet and overall exactly what you'd hope for at a Tiki bar. I subsequently recommended this place to numerous people. Well, we went again last night (about a year and a half after our first visit) and between the four people in our party we ordered 4 different drinks across the sweetness scale (there's an actual sweet scale under each drink on the menu). They were all so sour that they were undrinkable. And we aren't a group who typically like sweet drinks. I don't know if it was just the bartender or an actual change of recipes, but the dominant flavor in all of the drinks was lemon juice. They were absolutely awful. I'm crossing my finger that it was just a bad night. The decor and ambiance is so cute and fun and hasn't changed and is why I gave two stars instead of one. I'll update my review after my next visit. read more

There were also a LOT of bottles on the counter behind the bar. I don't know if it is always like this, but I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would definitely go back for the drink and to show it off to friends.

Vibes are ON POINT! It feels like a sweet little oasis. Best for a small group of two or three to have some drinks. Or a great place to belly up to the bar solo. If you like rum drinks, this is the jam but they have stuff for everyone. The owner, Claire is one of the kindest, most awesome people in the world. Most recently, on a Friday evening around 7 PM, my party was seated near the end of the bar by the restroom area. A server approached me in a confrontational manner and told me to move my chair because it was blocking the walkway. I immediately complied and moved it where he directed. Despite that, he repeatedly pushed and squeezed past the chair in an aggressive way several times afterward and then returned to confront me about it again. The interaction felt hostile, unnecessary, and unprofessional. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. On a previous visit, a female server was rude and controlling toward our table, and on another occasion when we were unhappy with a menu item, the response was essentially, "You ordered it, you pay for it," with no attempt to address the concern professionally. The atmosphere is great, which is why we've continued to come back. However, after several visits involving rude and confrontational interactions with staff, it feels more like an ongoing culture issue than a one-time bad experience. I don't expect special treatment, but I do expect basic courtesy and respect. Hopefully management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the customer experience.

Now back to the bar, super great vibes and welcoming queer environment. We went in on a Wednesday night and there were some individuals playing covers on the stage and anyone was welcome to join which was great. It felt like true community lives in that place. I actually dont think this bar has a unisex bathroom which would be the only reason I would personally take off a star but I won't because there's still so much positive about this bar.
