    Winter stew

Went here on a recommendation prior to the movies on Thursday evening. The drinks were phenomenal and food was delicious! Started out with the pretzel sticks and beer cheese for an app. Had the espresso martini then decided to mix it up with the Muffin, What about you. Yum, yum. Decided to go light for dinner with the winter stew & caesar salad. Our friend had the shrimp & grits. (Nice little kick to it) Definitely will be back!

They had at least three different bar areas that I could see. I didn't check out the whole place. They have a rum wall. They have a tequila wall and then they have a whiskey wall. I went for the tequila last night I ordered a couple appetizers. I got the deviled eggs and then I ordered the chicken strips with the pineapple ghost pepper sauce, which was extremely delicious. These are not your ordinary chicken strips. These are hand, battered, and fried which are light, crispy and delicious. The two bartenders that were working the tequila wall definitely knew their stuff very friendly and made amazing drinks If you're in town, I would definitely recommend this place at least once or maybe two or three times

Great place to check out if you are in Spokane! Lots of great choices of whiskey. I enjoyed a flight. Unfortunately they were out of one and substituted another. Enjoyed their ribs. They were good but would have appreciated a couple more! Slipped on their floor. Please put down some rugs!! Very slick floor

The ambiance and service is excellent here. The bar/restaurant is up to par and fun plus exciting with all the alcohol on display. I ordered the salmon burger and garlic fries and the garlic fries were very good. The salmon burger was straight salty. Who ever seasoned the salmon over did it with salmon and they had an extremely heavy hand when seasoning the salmon. I definitely recommend the bar but be careful with the salmon burger unless you want to eat straight salt. It was so salty I thought my veins were going to constrict. This is a good place but be careful ordering food.

Love this spot. Staff is super friendly, haven't tried the cocktails or whiskey (yet), just grabbed a beer and an appetizer if there's a happy hour going on. There's hundreds (literally) of bottles on the wall, and it sounds like the old fashioned's are really popular. Looking forward to my next visit!

Overview: cool vibe, great beer and whiskey, but just mediocre food. Food: Mediocre. Had the beef stew, and it was just good. Nothing more. The pork belly tacos were decent but the tortillas were the worst I've ever tasted. Beer: Limited draft selection but quality craft beer Service: great service Ambiance: modern woodsy Overall cleanliness: Above average Bathroom cleanliness: average

What a fun place! The drinks were FABULOUS! I love amaretto sours and theirs was on point. For food, our group enjoyed a variety of things. I got the BBQ fries. They were perfectly salty, savory, meaty. Others got the elk burger, French dip and the brisket sliders. It was fun watching staff use the ladder to grab bottles! The environment was very lively yet not too loud. Great meal and great drinks!

What a gem. Bartender was great, even though I don't drink, he was super friendly. Ordered lunch. Had the lamb gyros, so tender. Also enjoyed the goat cheese app. Delicious. I highly recommend this place. Worth the money.

Best tequila bar ever! Huge selection. Biggest selection I have ever seen. Super cool place. The bar tender even tried the insolito tequila with us. /cheers

GREAT bar! Such a fun place in Spokane-would definitely recommend to locals and visitors alike. The place was packed at 9pm and we managed to find the last two seats together at the bar after asking someone to move their purse. The bartender, Leo, was awesome and was working his butt off the entire time we were there. Even though there was a crowd and the place was full he was attentive, got us our drinks quickly, and managed to make time to chat with us. AWESOME customer service! We didn't try any food this time but will definitely be back!

Went to Purgatory after wanting to try it for a while. It didn't disappoint. It was highlighted in the winter Whiskey Advocate. Leo was our bartender and he was a machine. We were there over about 2 hours and the man didn't stop making drinks the whole time. He was super nice and will be keeping me coming back. The bar itself is awesome with a huge wall of whiskeys from all over the world. Definitely try this place if you come to Spokane.

    Rosemary beef stew
    Chris T.

This is a place restaurant with excellent selection of bourbons, whiskey, and draft beers. Service: excellent service and friendly staf Beer: spot on IPA that tasted like ESB with a red finish just delicious. Food: rosemary beef stew is very unique. It is more of a soup since it is more soupy than stew texture. It was perfect for a colder day. The flavor was unique with a huge taste of rosemary. It was good but if you don't like rosemary this might be a bit too much rosemary. The next round we got the pork belly tacos. The pork belly filling was very flavor, nice texture and spice but the flour tortillas were inedible. I took one bite and ate just the filling. The pork belly had nice char. The pickles onions complimented and the sour cream sauce with cilantro was just a flavor explosion and then you had this drab dull inedible flour tortilla that just wrecked the whole experience. The flour tortilla is a huge miss. The flour tortilla were poor quality and cold that tasted like rubbery hardboard. A corn tortilla would have been better or better yet make it into a salad. I was going to order something else but that just wrecked me wanting to try anything else on the menu.

What a fun place! Cool vibe with a huge bar the runs the length of the restaurant with one end of it near the back overlooking the open kitchen and the other the bar to ceiling shelves of whiskey and bourbon. The craft drinks are delicious and they also offer tasting flights or singles. The food is delicious. I had the lamb gyros and my husband had the house smoked pork ribs. They were both so good! The staff here were all very attentive and friendly which is the most important part for us when dining out. It was a great experience and we will be back!

On my first night, I sat at the bar and ordered a Grapefruit Drop before getting a burger to go. The bartender was friendly and attentive, and the drink was excellent. Bright, citrusy, and well balanced. The Table 13 Burger was fantastic, cooked just right with fresh toppings and crispy fries. I brought it back to my room and enjoyed it while catching up on email, and it hit the spot. The next night, I went back and ordered the same Grapefruit Drop again because I liked it so much. I tried the Fish and Chips this time, and it was delicious with crisp batter and tender fish. The slaw was crisp but mild, kind of the vanilla of slaws. It added texture but not much flavor. I finished with the Huckleberry River Cake, a creamy and tangy dessert with a rich berry sauce that was absolutely scrumptious. The atmosphere was relaxed. I was there on a work trip traveling solo and felt comfortable sitting at the bar. There were plenty of other guests talking and enjoying themselves, but it wasn't overly loud. Service was great both nights, and the location off the main lobby is convenient. The food was excellent, and the experience was consistently good. I would gladly eat here again.

I got the roasted half chicken, it comes with asparagus and rice but I substituted the rice for broccolini, and it came with a side of spinach soup. It tasted really good, chicken was marinated and roasted to perfection. The asparagus and broccolini were cooked just right. It still had the right amount of crunch and it was lightly seasoned. Service was great, the hostess took my to go order and I sat and waited for 25 minutes. She was friendly and helpful. Ambiance is nice, I didn't ear there but it has plenty of seating and decor was nice.

I wish the experience I had was better to report. First off, my friend and I arrived with ample time before our reservation, and were unhappy to find out that there was some sort of children's tea being hosted this afternoon. While it's an adorable idea, it was not the environment I was looking for on my birthday, and had it been advertised ANYWHERE on the business's website, we would have chosen to have gone elsewhere from the start. Because it wasn't, we weren't aware it was happening until we got to the restaurant and were already excited to try the place out. We asked to be sat away from the table with kids that was already there, and as there were two tables about to open up and a table that was already open, we didn't think it would be an issue. The couple that had gotten there before us (but told us they didn't have a reservation) was seated first and very far away from the table with children. We, on the other hand, were seated directly next to the two women who were entirely focused on their mimosas and were thus allowing their children to play loudly with toys at the table. I understand a business being busy, and maybe this place just isn't for me, but I was so excited for it, and we didn't even stay long enough to order. If you're going to be holding a special event, post about it, especially if it's themed. Otherwise, you're just going to have unhappy (would be) customers.
