But not only was the room great the staff was the most friendly of any hotel I have stayed in. Breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast, but the hostess kept it stocked and was also very friendly. My husband is picky about his coffee and he thought the coffee was pretty good and it was a really neat coffee machine. The area felt safe with lots of shopping options near by. Located just down the road from the golf course and Selma, Bailey's Place has been beautifully landscaped to hold events, wedding ceremonies, etc. I was visiting here for a wedding. It's a gorgeous setup with an arbor, that the bride and groom got married under. There was seating set up in front of the arbor for guest. Behind the arbor was a cabin, that can be used for wedding party to get ready. But also can be used for receptions or having the wedding in. I believe this was the backup if it had rained. There isn't necessarily a parking lot, but a grassy area this is designated for parking. And lots of trees for shading.

The person who ordered it didn't like it or eat it but I tasted the beef and it had good flavor to me. The fries were undercooked and cold. The table we were seated at was like trying to eat on a seesaw. It rocked and shook the entire meal. The server took notice of that and apologized but didn't offer to do anything about it. We used every pack of sugar on the table to try to stop it from wobbling and it didn't work. The place is beautiful and I wanted to love it. They were laser focused on a banquet later in the day so that is likely why we got such substandard food and service. Better to have turned us away than to treat a first time guest in this manner. I would have probably been more vocal about this had my 83 year old mother not been there with me.
