After interviewing several other Orthodontists for my daughter's braces, we settled on Dr. Zuch. They are always happy to explain the procedures and work well with the patients (mostly children, obviously) and their parents. My son had braces many years ago and while his teeth look good now, I remember all the battles and fights and the confrontations with HIS Orthodontist. No such hassles here. The best orthodontist ever! I don't know where to start. Firstly, I would say, that my daughter's treatment has ended over a year ago, and her teeth are as nice and straight as on the day that she left the office after Dr. Zuch took her braces off. The entire​ process​ took over 2 years, but it was an amazing experience. It doesn't feel like an ordeal when you go every few weeks to a place where everyone treats you like a family member. They always explain every procedure. Dr. Zuch is always looking for newer and better technologies to serve his patients even better. We have many great orthodontists in the area, the prices are pretty comparable, but you won't get anywhere else the level of care, integrity, and attention to detail. Dr. Zuch and staff are top notch. They took plenty of time to show us how everything is done at the office and the Doctor had all the time we needed to explain all our options. I got the sense he was directing us to a decision he would make for his own kids. My son is 19 and had a host of orthodontic issues. Seems that he is on his way to a perfect smile. We were traveling out of town over Presidents' Day weekend - were picking up a rental car in Croton when my son had an orthodontic emergency of his wire coming out of its brackets and poking him (and interfering with basic mouth functions!). Or at least he phrased it as an emergency when I went looking for anyone who might deal with this on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. Urgent care - no. ERs - no. Then I found a listing for an orthodontist's office that said they were open on Saturdays, and called the number. Nope, not open after all, but one could page the dr in an emergency. So I called it.. and not five minutes later, got a call back from Dr. Zuch. In fact he was not open that day (he is sometimes on Sat, but not that day). But after hearing about my son's issue - which in the meantime my son had dealt with palliatively - told us to meet him at his office in 20 minutes. At this point, since it seemed the situation might hold for a few days, I was reluctant to bother Dr. Zuch. But he was SO welcoming, and so reassuring that this was the wisest course and that he didn't mind ("I was going in for a little while anyway") and that it was better to be sure, that we took him up on his offer and met him there. We were greeted by both him and his lovely wife, both of whom went out of their way to make us comfortable and at ease. Dr. Zuch then examined my son, and did a thorough job of removing some loose brackets, bending the wire so it would not hurt him, and all the while explaining everything and being very pleasant and chatty. And the kicker - he didn't charge us! (what?!) It could not have been a lovelier experience - made me have renewed faith in the kindness of simple human connection (and expertise). What a mensch. I had a great experience here, as an adult with braces they made everything great. The staff is amazingly friendly and the office itself is top notch. I didn't feel as though it was completely centered around children, which was a bit more comforting for an adult going thru a process most children as going thru. I highly recommend them to all ages! read more
