Had braces during my adolescence which helped straightened my teeth, but once I hit my early thirties I decided to have orthognathic surgery(realignment of jaws) I had found out from my oral surgeon that I would need to have braces again which was a huge bummer..fortunately, my oral surgeon at the time had on staff an extremely highly-skilled and caring orthodontist-Dr. Cheung-who not only prepped my teeth to perfectly align for surgery in less than a year, but even just a few months post-surgery were my braces ready to come off and was amazed at how straight and symmetric my teeth were, but how each set-both upper and lower-perfectly aligned with each other, forming an excellent bite that I had not experienced previously. This was not merely a coincidence, as Dr. Cheung is a perfectionist and takes great pride in her work, and through her friendly, social demeanor gets the patient to do his part in taking care of his/her teeth. I'm so grateful that I found Dr. Cheung at my dentist office. After years of being very insecure of my smile, I finally decided to try Invisalign at the age of 31. This is something I had wanted to do for a while but was nervous to start the process in my 30's. The first consult was very helpful. To start, the office is beautiful! Dr. Cheung has a very friendly and laid back disposition, which immediately put my daughter at ease.
