I trusted her instantly as I overheard her conversation about a bridal client she helped (who had MULTIPLE hair disasters) before her big day. She had me stay in the same pedicure chair for my manicure. She just threw a towel over my lap, clipped my nails a little bit and polished them. No soaking, no cuticle treatment, no filing. Just a quick trim and polish. Something I would do for a little kid! Plus, nails weren't even fully coated. I came home and took the polish off. I will continue for a pedicure but NOT a manicure. $55.00 plus a $15.00 tip.

Apparently if you aren't spending big bucks on fake nails or dips, they don't care about your nails. She did not: remove all the old gel polish, trim all the cuticles from each nail, scrap the cuticles off the nails--at all--, clean under the nails, shape the nails evenly. AND...she did not dip the brush in the polish after each nail so some nails have even color, but some nails are lighter than other other due to uneven polish application. Sides of 4 nails have no polish at all. The top coat was applied too thick so it has bubbled on 2 of them. They charged me $25.00. She rushed through the entire process without a hint of care or effort. I complained on my way out, showed them my nails and they asked to "fix it". I said no. I now know how they treat customers and the work they *really* do. I'll take my business elsewhere. Save your money and do it yourself. It will come out better.

Two gel manicures and two normal pedicures for my 14-year-old and self. Her gel manicure lasted three days and mine started chipping at day three. They do not have many OPI gel and regular polish colors that match. Update: day 4 and I noticed that polish is chipped on 2 of my toes. Typically polish lasts 4 weeks on my toes. My finger nail (gel) polish is lifting on 50% of my nails. What a waste!

I went onto Yelp and found a great review about Cabel Salon and I made an appointment right away with Summer. I have been back 5 times and this is now my permanent salon. The salon is small, but beautifully decorated/renovated. It is very clean with beautiful stations. The owner does a wonderful job at making her salon look updated and modern in this small town. My hairdresser, Summer, I would recommend to every girl who wants their hair to look great but does not feel like shelling out $200+ in Boston every 6 weeks. She is young and pretty and has a great haircut herself. She takes the time to listen to what you want and clarify any questions she might have. She is friendly and you get the feeling that she is really going to take the time on your hair to do it right. When it is all done she'll ask you if there is anything you don't like or want fix and she'll go right in and fix it for you. You don't have to feel like you have to leave the salon without your hair the way you want it. The prices are amazing! I get a full-foil, trim, and eyebrows waxed for about $85! Plus, she doesn't simply blow dry your hair, she styles it beautifully with a straightening iron or curling iron and you leave there feeling great! This is a great salon for any young girl who wants someone to understand the style they want and how to achieve it. If you go to Cabel Salon ask for Summer or Kelly. Kelly is the owner and is also young, pretty and talented. Either stylist will do a wonderful job with your hair and stay within your budget!
