I understand the upstairs also has evening gowns. The boutique was located on the Main Street but moved to its new location about 2 years ago. I love the new location so much more - it has a great vibe. The owner is so friendly and helpful. If you are visiting the area, I suggest stopping in here. There is a large parking lot right next to the building.

They had tons of other touristy items that you could purchase for souvenirs Or gifts, including michigan history books. They have a large selection of puzzles as well as Melissa and Doug items, I was able to get a few items for my daughter for when she gets older at a great price. I also was able to find a bag of loose Formosa oolong tea which I had been looking for for a long time and can generally only find in teabags. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We did not purchase any candy but we did check out the selection and they had a nice selection with good variety. This is definitely a stop for every Lexington vacation.

When we REALLY feel like splurging, one of our favorites in the old school toys section is the potato gun. It's about $3 (make sure to buy a couple - it's way more fun that way), that "bullets" are made from pressing the toy into a potato. HOURS OF ENJOYMENT. I have tried a lot of their seasonings and grilling sauces, and they have yet to disappoint. They also have lots of cute kitchen accessories. Upstairs is a baby gift area, but is especially known for the Christmas ornaments and accessories. Their wide assortment make great hostess gifts at holiday time! It's definitely a "step back in time", but I will ALWAYS make time for the Lexington General Store.
