It is important to note that my father went into HM with a positive attitude, understanding how difficult the staff's job was and set out to make each of their days a little better. My father showed the staff respect and they gave it back, multiplied. I never had to worry about his well-being, his safety or his happiness. When my father passed, one of the staff members called me to make sure that hospice was fulfilling my wishes. I would love to thank specific people but am afraid that I would leave someone out. Thank you all for going above and beyond. Your efforts didn't just make both of our lives a little easier, it warmed our hearts.

They are both sane and are well aware of everything going on. The food is actually delicious, Ms. Dot does a great job with the food service. Macy does a great job with all the fun activities they have. Rodney has taken care of my brother and has shown so much care and professionalism. All PT workers are great. Ms.Eartha loves her job and patients. Angela and Joanne are easy to work with. Once there's a new heritage manor there will be a list of people trying to get in. Keep up the great work Heritage!!

It's awful when you see a CNA searching thru your dad's closet & items, even looking at the sizes in his hats. One CNA went into his room at 1am, turned on all the lights, woke up my dad & asked where his laundry basket was. We were misled on the care of our father. Nighttime medication given in daytime (nurse refused to give pm meds), showers 3x/wk (instead once or twice/wk), housekeeping 1x/wk (only came 2x in 8wks). My dad fell once in the main dining room & once in main hallway, since no one watches him. Broke his hip & femur. We moved our dad out of that overpriced apartment (awful smelly carpet) right after. Never again.

I am lovingly "violating my own HIPAA rights" and sharing something personal because I genuinely wish someone had told me about pelvic floor physical therapy YEARS ago. I've been going to Dynamic Physical Therapy for several months, and I cannot recommend Michelle Sierra and her team highly enough. I've had two children and a hysterectomy, yet somehow no one ever said, "Hey, you know all those muscles down there? You might want to pay attention to those." Pregnancy and childbirth, hysterectomy and other surgeries, menopause and aging can all affect the pelvic floor, contributing to bladder or bowel issues, urgency, pelvic pressure or pain. And this isn't just for women--men can benefit too, particularly after prostate surgery or cancer treatment. For years, many of us assumed these were simply things we had to accept as we got older. Thankfully, we know better now. I'm in my 50s, and while I accept that aging comes with certain indignities, I have absolutely no intention of surrendering to "Poise" or "Depends" without a fight. Michelle and the entire Dynamic team handle a very personal type of therapy with professionalism, compassion, grace and absolutely no judgment. They make something that could feel awkward seem completely normal. If you're experiencing bladder or bowel changes, pelvic pain or pressure, or other symptoms you thought you simply had to live with, please talk with your doctor about whether pelvic floor physical therapy might be appropriate for you. Thanks to the incredible team at Dynamic Physical Therapy, twice-weekly sessions, and the home exercises they taught her, she made amazing progress! My daughter was there for 30 days, that was great!! The poeple and counclers and doctors there…read morewhere great BUT only while she was there. Once she was graduated and released they STOPPED. They did NOT send her home with her correct meds. After numerous phone calls to get help finally they sent in her scripts only to be the WRONG ones. They did NOT set her up for success leaving the facility. She is going to meetings but we have not gotten meds straight. All we need is for here to have what she needed to succeed. On a side note I did have to call her councelor about another issue and she came througth for that. I would love to recommend them whole heartedly but they need help in the back end of recovery.
