Truthfully, my honest experience with Truth Tattoos was so much fun and amazing, and this is no lie. A friend of mine had gotten inked here before, so when I was visiting we spur-of-the-moment decided to go back and walk in to see if we could get another, since she had enjoyed her first experience so much. That's also nice- you can walk in a lot of days here and get tattooed. Since covid that can be hit or miss to come by, and having to set an appointment can be such a pain. So, we walked in and they told us (3 of us wanting to get tatted, by the way) to come back in an hour and they'd squeeze us in, and that's exactly what they did. We all got tattooed by 3 different artists, and it was such a fun time. Everyone in the shop is super laid back and just enjoying the vibes and you could feel it. Mitch worked on my tattoo, and he drew up such a beautiful design I couldn't even believe it, but it was the truth. He was so good at listening to what I wanted and making it come to life, even with just a walk-in, smaller scale tat. I really enjoyed Mitch, he was funny and so charismatic and made the entire experience that much better. One bad thing about the Truth is that they are pretty terrible at answering the phone, so if you call don't expect someone to pick up. You have to find their Google Doc sheet to send a request for an appointment and that's your best bet to get set up there if you don't go in person. We really loved our visit to the Truth Tattoos, and truthfully we will most likely be back at some point because we can't lie and say we didn't cherish our time and now forever inked skin, that's the facts. read more

I walked in with no appointment at The Truth Tattoos around 6 PM on a Saturday and was immediately helped! I wanted some small tattoos on my hand and fingers that I've been wanting for years but kept putting off. Other shops in the area were quoting me very high prices and couldn't get the style right or would deny me due to the location of tattoos. When I went to The Truth Tattoos, I was greeted right away, multiple artists stepped up to see what my vision was and quoted me an amazing price. Lex was my artist, and she was seriously the best --super chill, confident, and nailed my vision on the first sketch. I even let her freehand some parts, that's how much I trusted her. So we were on our anniversary and planned on getting tattooed in Stillwater but the place that told us to come in basically closed 7 days after they told us this! So we looked at places with Greta reviews who took walk ins and BOOM this place came up! And we both are super happy it did! First off the entire staff is friendly(not arrogant), place is extremely clean and bright and the artist truly care about you! Prices are more than fair and my wife had Whitney do her next tattoo, and Jamel did one of mine and then Mitch did my main one! Ali g with Zach and Omar they made the experience awesome! She was very patient when I was trying to figure out what kind of font I was looking for and she has a great sense of humor. She also made sure I wasn't in any sort of pain or discomfort. I came from California for my birthday to visit my father, I had a 24 hour window to get a tattoo and I can't remember his name but the man at the front desk made it happen with the really cool neck tattoo. Me and my sister went here about a month ago! We called 20 minutes before and they were able to make time for us! They were extremely helpful in making sure we had a good spot picked out, and did different movements to make sure the tattoos looked good resting and moving. I saw Isaiah's work featured on Instagram so I messaged him for a session. It took him a day to reply but I was able to get in that same day that he replied. He does an amazing job and made sure that I was comfortable. I went in for a second session and was able to get several smaller tatts all completed in one day with touch-up of my ankle tattoos. Their OPEN sign is broken so I was a bit unsure when I first stopped by but they're open. They also have a very welcoming vibe upon entering. I would definitely recommend Isaiah for sure. I went to this shop on a whim on a Saturday. The place was friendly and I was greeted immediately. I asked if they had time for a walk in and they fit me right in even though they were busy. I got The artist Zak. He turned out to be the perfect person for the piece I wanted. I wanted a custom piece but on my head. After getting the placement right we got started right away. The artist worked with me on the placement and I was totally grateful for his patients. I'm still in the healing process and am curious and excited to see the final finished product. It's been three days and all is on schedule. I would recommend a friend to going in and getting some work done from these guys. read more

I had made an appointment 1 week prior and provided a down payment. They called a few days prior to my appointment to confirm it. Showed up for my appointment and I was not in the calendar for appointments and they said my artist who I had "scheduled" with was suspended a couple days ago. I didn't get a call or anything letting me know or offer a reschedule and it sounded like someone was suppose to reschedule the rest of the persons appointments and no one did. The apprentice who was there made me feel like I was bothering him and the other 2 artist who were there were really nice to me and I could tell felt bad for me but he just acted like it wasn't a big deal and I wasn't even mad I was just slightly annoyed as anyone may be. My down payment was not recorded in their records so one of the main artists actually gave me money of her own which was really sweet but the whole situation could have been totally avoidable if I had just gotten a call letting me know the situation. read more
