When we had first toured the venue we were told that the base price was 7900 which included the day of one hour rehearsal, and set up of tables for reception and ceremony when we had toured the venue it was a seemingly nice venue, family owned and very communicative. After we had chosen this venue for our wedding day and put down our deposit we were then told that we would not be able to schedule our wedding rehearsal until the week of the wedding, this came as a shock since we were not told this when we had first toured the venue. As time went on, I would frequently message and email the person I had toured with which was Kerry the woman who owns the venue. Whenever I reached out or asked a question there was a very late response, short response or no response at all. The only time that the people from the venue were responsive was when it came to money. Also, when it came to money, they recommended that we paid everything in cash in which we did I would follow up, always asking for some sort of receipt or documentation in which they never provided any. Finally, when the wedding came, we were able to book the rehearsal a few days before the wedding. We also had to do our bar services through the venue since they do not let you provide your own alcohol or your own bartenders. You have to do a package through the venue. The day of the wedding was fine, but there were a few things that I would like to note. The bar staff came right before the bar opened at seven and nothing was prepared. They served warm beer and barely had any mixers. The wedding guest complained about the drinks, the service and the lack of accommodation. For example, we had to provide our own water so my mom went and bought 6/7 cases of water which they did not give to guests so at the end of the night she just ended up taking them home. The father of the groom even went up to order at one point and was not serviced right away, even though there were three bartenders and no one in line for the bar. For bar services we paid over $6000 for three hours of open bar for 150 guests. I also want to note that prior to the wedding. I had reached out to Cody (son of Kerry) who also works for the venue and asked if the caterer that we hired would be able to serve beer/wine which he had quickly responded with a yes, when the day of the wedding came, the bartender said they would not be able to give the beer or wine to the waitresses due to, the possibility of it being served to people under 21. Also, during the ceremony we had popped some confetti made out of paper. Quickly after the manager, that was there came up to some of our guests/ wedding party that had popped the confetti and had asked them to immediately clean it up rather than asking them to do it at least by the end of the day. There was also a situation with the projector, not working. We had made a slideshow to show our guest and the projector was not working properly. After the wedding, I followed up with the venue to let them know about my experience which I spoke with the owner and she had excuses for why she was absent and just reiterated how great their venue is despite our experience. I'm writing this review to warn others who are looking into finding a venue for their special day. I would not recommend working with this venue, considering they are unresponsive, not accommodating, sketchy. Not sure who all this situation is relatable for but I hope no one else has to experience this type of unprofessional service.

Oh no, just like in many of our fantasy weddings that we've all pictured in our heads, the beautiful bride is being brought to her fairy tale on a horse drawn carriage. Her veil is flowing behind her in the wind, and she is sitting with her father, who will soon be giving her away. He has his arm wrapped around her, and you can only imagine what they are talking about. The horses hooves clop against the ground in an elegant fashion and after they go around the place, father and bride are dropped off to do the official walk down the aisle. Beautiful. I'm getting teary eyed just rethinking about it and telling all of you! The ceremony was beautiful and the reception was held under tents on the rear part of the property. Very nice place and the staff were all extremely professional. They even give you the option to bring your own alcohol for your wedding instead of purchasing it through the company with an additional cost added on. (Maybe that's standard.. I was impressed with how organized they were. My favorite part, besides the house and grounds, was the HUGE selection of decorations you can choose from that they include in the price of a wedding package. They had so many things to choose from, it boggled my mind. Candelabras, chandeliers, sculptures...you name it. Then after you've decided on decorations, you work with a member of the staff who helps you coordinate the look you want...which is really helpful if you're like me and have ZERO design sense. Everything was just like I dreamed it would be for the wedding. Several guests commented on how great the staff were, and how beautiful everything was. They even provide a horse and carriage for the bride and groom immediately following the ceremony. My only complaint was the DJ. You have to use the one they partner with. You can only conduct business with them over the phone and through e-mail. Still, I didn't worry because the person I communicated with seemed very thorough. She told me I had two options: I could either list every track I wanted played, or I could list only the special songs (like first dance, father/daughter dance, etc.) and the DJ would select the rest for the reception. I wanted to be sure that the people who came to the wedding would know all the music, so I worked for several hours on a music list. I was assured that only the music on the list would be played. But during the reception, NONE of the music other than the special selections were right. I didn't recognize half of what was played. Only four or five people got up to dance all evening. That was really disappointing. If the DJ wasn't going to use the list I created, I wished I had been told that before I spent several hours putting it together. Other people might not have an issue though, if they don't mind leaving the music entirely up to the DJ. Overall I loved this place and the staff at Saratoga Springs. The only drawback is the requirement that you use their DJ and their caterer (the caterer was EXCELLENT, though) so if you want to choose who provides those services on your own, you're a little bit stuck...but the pros definitely outweigh the cons!!

Once inside, the space delivered. The outside terrace where we had happy hour was a highlight -- cute views of Charlotte and a nice sightline of Bank of America Stadium. Great spot to mingle before heading in. The interior was warm, temperature wise, but that's likely a seasonal thing with the heat still running. Minor and forgivable. The bathrooms were clean with one exception -- the full body mirror needed attention, which was a little disappointing for an otherwise polished space. Small detail but worth noting. Elevators worked without issue, which sounds like a low bar but matters more than people think for an event venue. Not sure how much of the equipment and staffing fell under the venue versus the event organizers, but the overall experience was enjoyable either way. It's a solid, attractive space for a nice gathering. Honestly I'd love to host something here myself. Would recommend for anyone looking for a venue with a nice Charlotte backdrop and easy accessibility.

Based on what I have seen, this is definitely going to be a great location to do almost any type of party or event. The pictures I've posted are set up for Hollywood themed prom and as you can see is very spacious with plenty of room for everything including a 360 Photo area. I had the pleasure of meeting Anthony who does the food servicing for the event space and he represents Bistro catering which comes highly recommended by 601 Milestone venue. In the very near future, this location will be designed to be broken down for seven different events, which gives you an idea of the amount of space in this venue. But most importantly, the team is incredible. Rachel was our planner and we worked with her leading up to the wedding. She helped us create a timeline for the day as well as pick decor.
