This review is specifically for people wanting help with ACT/SATs. DO NOT GO HERE. It was a complete waste of money. ZERO individual help. Spent $400 to go twice a week and sit and take random tests without any instruction after. No feedback at all on wrong answers. The place is filthy also. It may be fine for elementary kids though needs updating and to hire a cleaning service. There are awesome, caring private tutors out there. Google or ask your counselors. Wish I did that in the first place. read more

Our son who was behind when we sought out help from The Tutoring Center has made wonderful progress in catching up, and in some cases has moved ahead of his current grade level. Our son attends year round which had a significant impact on the beginning of the school year, as he was up to speed and had not lost or forgotten anything over the summer. My son was behind in reading by a whole grade level when starting The Tutoring Center. In 6 months, his scores in school improved almost 2 grade levels and he now is exactly where he should be for entering 4th grade. My son struggled with finding the motivation, confidence and skills to read but the reading program at The Tutoring Center has helped improved all these areas. I'm beyond pleased with the results and the staff is by far the most friendliest, caring individuals. I honestly wish I would've enrolled him sooner when the struggling began. A year ago my son was failing math (he was a Freshman in high school). A year later and he's getting A and B grades (with the occasional C). But now he'll hound his teacher to find out how he got that C and it's corrected for the next time. His confidence is way up - he is enjoying school and is also having fun participating in clubs, attending school activities, etc. His entire outlook has changed. Amanda and the team at The Tutoring Center worked with myself and my son's math teacher to help assess where he was at with pre-algebra and algebra skills. They rotate during the hour on skills he had to catch up on and his current homework. He attended three times a week and I had him go through the summer. At summer, they worked on current skills and also got him working on the Math he'd have that coming Fall (we borrowed a book from the school). It's a time commitment and you need to be involved as well. But in the end it has really paid off. He is caught up and is no longer attending the Center. But if he needed help again or for ACT/SAT prep, I wouldn't hesitate to have my son re-enrolled. I highly recommend them. read more
