We love EA of West Bloomfield. We have had our son here for the last 3 years (started at 1) and our…read moredaughter started at 6 months. All of the teachers are wonderful, caring, and energetic. The ratio of kids to teachers is always followed strictly. They have several indoor play areas for the kids especially during long winters. They are on Brighwheel as well as WatchMeGrow which helps with taking a peak at what they are doing and getting updates on their day in school. Their timings were perfect for our long days at work (630-630), they provide breakfast, lunch, snacks as well as diapers/bibs/utensils for the younger ones. Really great group of staff/teachers, they have been wonderful for our kids.

I was really hesitant about taking my baby to daycare, but after recommendations from friends, I…read moredecided to come for a tour of Tutor Time. I was shocked to find how clean and safe this place seemed. Doors are kept locked unless you have a pin code to get in (you choose the PIN number when you officially register) and even the doors stay locked from the inside unless you press a button to exit. There are plenty of rooms which are separated by different age groups, and the kids are closely monitored by their staff. My son is 6 months old and in the infant room. Since some babies are crawling, they have you put on booties so you don't get the floors dirty m from your shoes. They have a 3 step washing process for all toys that are played with. The crib mattresses themselves are cleaned every night and sheets are washed daily. The cribs have a plexiglass surrounding them so babies don't get their legs or arms caught in the slats. The staff has been there several years, so the low turnover rate is fantastic to me. The center director and assistant director were wonderful about answering all my questions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great day are. Their prices aren't too shabby either.

We've been at Best Brains now for a few months - we needed something more than the public school…read morewas offering. Like phonics. And math that you can understand. My kids are young, but like school and I want to foster that now, while I still can. Best Brains immediately tests the kids to see about where they are academically, then give you books to take home and practice every night. Once per week they meet in very small groups and help the student with chosen subjects (in our case we are doing both English and Math). If you actually do the books each night, it is about 15 minutes or work per subject. BB pays off completed work with brain bucks, which the kids can use in the little store. The test results are still forthcoming. The public school decided not to test my son this year (?!?!?!) for reading so I guess we have to wait a while to see the end result. I'm not all for standardized tests, but that is a long subject for a different forum. Bottom line is my kids seem to enjoy it and it is extra practice that the school isn't eager to provide.

Best Brains is awesome. My son has been attending Best Brains since Sept 2017. He started out…read morewith their Junior Baby Genius English program. At that time, he didn't even know all his upper case letters. In 1 year and 8 months, he is now able to read at a Senior Reader level. By Feb 2018, I added on their Math class. Now, he is able to add and subtract, count in 2s/5s/10s, tell time, understand patterns and bar graphs (his favorite). And to think, he hasn't even started Kindergarten yet! I think, what makes Best Brains work is having fun and engaging homework. It is never redundant and boring. Also, the staff is AMAZING! My son started when he was 3, and his attention span was not the greatest. The staff work well with him and is very patient with him during the entire hour that he is at class. They are good at getting him to re-focus whenever he gets distracted. Hands down to all of them! I highly recommend Best Brains to anyone that wants to get ahead in learning!
