I was in Iron River for a ski weekend with family. I drove my "new" to me 2022 Chrysler Pacifica van up on a Friday night from the Milwaukee area (4 hours). Saturday morning when leaving the hotel to drive to the ski hill about 8:30AM, the temperature was negative 11. I had a check engine light and noticed other electrical lights on the dash and was getting no power from the engine. I drove to O'Reilly for them to check the problem. I had remembered that O'Reilly's have an ability to connect for diagnostic codes from my husband and a previous experience, with a different vehicle, about a year after this store opened! As we were discussing a possible tow company, Austin said I was in luck as a tow company employee, he knew, had entered the store. He introduced me to him, he asked if he could see the codes, and said he had an idea of what the problem could be. He said a family member has the same van and had a similar problem. Austin said I could leave my keys at the store and return for them later if the issue was fixed or we would set up a tow. Thankfully, no tow was needed. O'Reilly's employees were helpful in making this connection and being a mutually safe point of contact for an out-of-town female traveler. Had Jeff not walked in, they would have been able to give me some tow company names, and I may have had to stay an extra day or more before the problem was corrected. I felt some relief that the staff could save me the trouble of "googling" auto repair and tow companies in an area of the Upper Peninsula that is relatively miles from "big" cities. I appreciated the small-town care extended to my car issue. The employees truly deserve recognition for this customer service! This type of customer care is not as universal as it once was, yet it is the fabric of America service that I know and expect. Sean on second shift knew about the situation and was very courteous upon my return in the afternoon. I have only positive experiences with O'Reilly and would recommend them to anyone. I usually do not write reviews, but this experience warranted a positive review for this store and its staff! Since he is a former mechanic, he is very knowledgeable and he explained that the pedal is attached by two bolts and would be easy for us to replace ourselves. Since this was a Saturday, and all auto repair shops are closed, this was extremely helpful! We are from out of state and are going back home tomorrow. We were able to replace the pedal, the check engine light is now off, and the car drives perfectly. Walt is our hero!

The shop is tiny but packed full of unique finds. There is a surprising amount of variety in the shop but I was pleased to see that the items were tastefully displayed and not over-crowded. To be honest, I didn't think I would find much, as Jeri's Quilt Patch is the only fabric store for miles. I was pleasantly surprised when this house-turned-business space had walls and walls of fabric, quilting kits, accessories, tools, and examples. My cousin, a quilter, would have been in heaven. There were so many versatile examples which I appreciated, although I sew different projects. I also appreciated the fabric was often organized by "collections" and complimentary colors. The owner, I'm assuming Jeri, was very kind, helpful and efficient in her checkout process, even though it wasn't anything fancy. Not surprisingly, I walked out of there with more than I planned to and I enjoyed browsing everything. She also has a fun collection of decor and antiques upstairs. I was happy to support this small business and would recommend it for any crafter passing through this area - the locals clearly already know that it's a gem!

Terrible installation ended up destroying the product and then they had to intention of standing…read morebehing their work. Had canvas replaced on a 2018 Jayco Pop up. The installation was so terrible it ended up destroying to new canvas after 6 uses. I called and sent pics of what happend and they made every excuse in the book on how it wasn't their fault. Pictures don't lie. Even sent the pics to a places that specializes in canvas install and they couldn't believ how cobbled the install was. Basically the height of the canvas was installed uneven and it ripped off from the bottom when the camped was popped up. Recieved new canvas and installed myself after they basically ghosted me by not calling back about part availablity or the real problem.. What a joke.

Hired this dealership to move a Jayco 40' bungalow for us as they were the ones who originally set it in its spot when it was new. it needed to be moved 30 miles NW. Driver called. He was late and was now at wrong campground to pick up. He showed up with a 1/2 ton truck to tow this trailer that weighed close to 11,000 pounds. Hooked it up, no tools with him, no air to check tires, squatted the truck of course. Driver hauled it fine and put it exactly where I wanted it the first time. He knew what he was doing and this is the only reason the rating wasn't lower. Not bad for $12 a mile, $360?
