Terrible installation ended up destroying the product and then they had to intention of standing behing their work. Had canvas replaced on a 2018 Jayco Pop up. The installation was so terrible it ended up destroying to new canvas after 6 uses. I called and sent pics of what happend and they made every excuse in the book on how it wasn't their fault. Pictures don't lie. Even sent the pics to a places that specializes in canvas install and they couldn't believ how cobbled the install was. Basically the height of the canvas was installed uneven and it ripped off from the bottom when the camped was popped up. Recieved new canvas and installed myself after they basically ghosted me by not calling back about part availablity or the real problem.. What a joke. read more

I was going to pass on leaving them a review but when you send a message begging for a 5 star review, this is what you get. Hired this dealership to move a Jayco 40' bungalow for us as they were the ones who originally set it in its spot when it was new. it needed to be moved 30 miles NW. Driver called. He was late and was now at wrong campground to pick up. He showed up with a 1/2 ton truck to tow this trailer that weighed close to 11,000 pounds. Hooked it up, no tools with him, no air to check tires, squatted the truck of course. Driver hauled it fine and put it exactly where I wanted it the first time. He knew what he was doing and this is the only reason the rating wasn't lower. Not bad for $12 a mile, $360? read more

Rented the 16 1/2 foot fishing boat. Worked perfectly not one problem. Renting it again coming this October. I recommend it.

Wish I would have read these reviews before renting a ski boat. They forgot to tell me they had removed the hull plug and the boat started to sink as soon as it went into the water. 10 minutes later I would have been in the middle of the lake. Figured that out and had to haul out the boat again. Then the the old weathered tow rope they gave us broke in the first 15 minutes. To top it all off, I too got billed for repair damage that didn't exist - didn't notify me, didn't asked, just charged my card (I learned about it when I got my statement). When I disputed it, they told me varying stories of what side and where. Be very careful with this place. read more

We used to go here often, but won't any longer. Their prices have always been slightly higher, but it's supply and demand. I understand that. Now there's a 3.5% charge to use a credit card. It's posted around the store, very clearly. Ok, I understand that. They have a fee. So I wrote a check. I had to return an item and was told I'd get a check for my return. It would be mailed in TWO WEEKS! That's not acceptable. They'll have my money for two weeks. In this day and age it doesn't take two weeks for a check to clear. It's ridiculous. Also this policy is not posted anywhere. I will not be shopping there any longer. The only way you can get ahead there is to pay cash. Who carries that much cash now. So sad. read more

I needed a pretty common marine part but I couldn't wait for it to arrive if it were shipped. The folks at Shoeder were helpful and polite but I literally paid $71 for a part that retails for $44. I paid it because I needed the part in a hurry but I won't return. Price gouging at its finest. read more

After having a small issue with Shoeder's this past weekend from our rental, Scott (Supervisor) was more than willing to compensate my friend's and I in a fair and positive way, in which we would be more than happy to rent again from Shoeder's. I understand mistakes happen (we're all human), and Shoeder's RV & Marine fixed and compensated the issue immediately. My family and two other families have been travelling to Rhinelander for years. (Six adults and several children all under five years of age). This year we thought it would be fun to rent a pontoon boat and went to Shoeder's RV & Marine to do so. There were several complications with this reservation, however at the conclusion of business with Shoeder's, management took all the appropriate steps to make this right. The boat we rented was beautiful and we had a great time enjoying the water. I respect Shoeder's management for recognizing mistakes and doing everything they could to ensure we left as happy customers. I would rent from Shoeder's again on a future trip to Rhinelander. read more

I'm sorry to say but I won't be buying parts there anymore. The other day I bought an oil filter for my sled and with the 3.5% charge for using a credit card it was over twenty bucks! I don't like using walmart.com or amazon but I can get the same filter delivered to my house for about $12.00 and change. I've used Schoeders Marine for several years now to service and store my 2001 Ranger 619VS. The service staff has always been helpful, and the work excellent. Yes, the price may seem high, but having had bad experience with other marine companies located closer to where I live, I travel the extra distance now because I know when I get my boat back, the job is done correctly. Down time and multiple trips to fix a problem are far more expensive. read more

I agree with the other review ! They are awful with costumer service and I will never spend a penny there ever again. I bought a used boat lift that I was told was 100% in working order. Had it delivered only to find out it was broke. I called and they told me they would come out the next morning to fix it and nobody showed. After several days of run around I bought a new lift from another local business that I should have gone to first and they put in my new lift. I called Shooders to pick up the broke lift and give me my money back. They told me they would. Then a couple days later told me I bought the lift used as is and they would not return my money ! My wife and I along with 2 other couples rented a pontoon from this place for the day to go boating with the kids on the eagle river chain. Pick up went smooth. The young man there showed us all the operating controls and helped us hook up the trailer. He took pictures of the entire boat with his cell phone and shared the pics with my wife and I. We had a great day with the kids swimming and the adults conversing and relaxing. We dropped the pontoon off that evening. The drop off inspection went fine. The very next day we get a call from Shoeder's manager saying they are going to charge us $200 for a new prop. After work I went to see the manager and find out what the problem was. There was a chip of paint missing from the prop. I told the manager we noticed that when we picked up the boat and showed her the picture her employee took the day before which clearly shows the paint chip missing. She said she was sorry but would be charging me for a new prop regardless of the picture proof that the chip was there before I used the boat. After I got home I did some homework and found this is a common practice for Shoeder's. There were 5 reviews and 4 of them were very similar to my experience. I'm a local to this business and I will never rent anything from this place again. I will never buy as much as a spark plug from such a crooked operation! read more
