While in line they sold the dress and the lady even said "Glad you brought it another little girl was about to try it on" the right thing to do, was allow her to try the dress on should she not want it then allow the other person to purchase. The really surprising thing about this great service is that it began online with a purchase via their website, but since Kempf is a real store with real people who care about their customers - even first time customers from out-of-state like me, my experience was far better than I've ever had with bigger online "virtual" merchants. In addition to great help in selecting the items I needed, I was impressed with the packing, shipping, delivery time half-way across the country, and price. I'd drop by the store to say thanks, but that would take at least two long days of driving! We could forgive the time on Google saying 11:00 AM when the sign on the door said they open at noon on Sundays. We went and killed some time, had some lunch. We finished eating and came back at 12:30... the store was still closed. Of course, when we went back to the car and were driving off and happened to pass the store only a minute later, THEN we see an employee coming out of the now unlocked door to set something up out front. We can only assume they had to have seen us trying the door moments before and just didn't care. It's not a difficult thing to open your doors when you say you're going to be open. It is actually one of the critical elements when running a business. We even gave them an extra 30 minutes so we weren't busting the doors down. It's not like opening at noon on a Sunday is the crack of dawn. It can't possibly be that difficult.
