I enjoyed how much scripture was taught and cross referenced by the pastor. The music is contemporary and was well planned to go with the teachings and it started services and ended services which I loved. The greeting on our way up the drive was nice - a sweet couple keeping dry and warm standing at the trunk of their car under their tailgate. And again in the parking lot, which was pretty full! The kids ministry was friendly and understanding of those wanting to keep their kids with them. They were introducing quite a few new deacons for their church this morning and it was wonderful to see and hear how their leadership is taught to serve. Jesus was the center, the heart, and the message for the whole visit. We will be back the next time we're in town.

Our girls love and look forward every week to the Kidz Zone where they learn about God through fun activities and interaction with other children. My husband and I love the pastor's down to earth preaching / teaching and his focus on being disciples. We also love the worship team whose musical talents bring praise to a new level. We also love the events and opportunities to be part of the community, especially the Lifegroup concept which brings us into fellowship and Bible study each week with families like ours.

Its facility is very nice, and one of its main attractions is a top-notch music program, with not only a choir but also a small orchestra. The general tone is traditional, with a conservative bent, but not stuffy or dogmatic.

I came here today for a fireworks show and car show. So, this review is based on just this part…read more However, I did meet a nice couple who are members of this church while here. Kelly and Jessica just came up to me while I was getting out of the rain. They invited me back and told me about the church member services they offer as well as information about the church. Now, the car show they were having was out in the parking lot and I enjoyed seeing the cars. I even talked to some of the owners who were sociable. In regret, the fireworks show was cancelled because of rain but they took my number and promised to call me when rescheduled. The church also was selling food plates for only one dollar. I would have tried it if it wasn't for me just eating dinner at Champys. But, it looked like a good deal with hot dogs, chips and etc. In summary, this is a southern baptist church and I want to come back and visit not only for morning worship but for other reasons. There is some history to be discovered here that will prove quiet interesting.
