Robert (who is one of the owners, I believe) contacted me soon after to find out what I needed and quoted for the work. We then organised an on-site appointment to discuss shutter options. All seemed fine at that point. However, Robert messaged me the evening before that appointment to say he couldn't make it so we arranged a different date when Robert was available. Again, the evening before the second appointment Robert contacted me to inform me that he couldn't make that either. This happened a further 3 times (so 5 times in total!). Each appointment was scheduled for first thing in the morning so it was a little inconsiderate to cancel the day before. Each time Robert offered minimal explanation save that he alluded to the fact more important work had come up (i.e, work of a higher value). At one point, I had to call Robert to chase for his response to one appointment after he failed to respond to me. He said the appointment would only take 20 minutes... It is obvious that Starbuck is only interested in large commissions and doesn't think twice about cancelling prearranged appointments if something larger comes up! (worth also pointing out that I visited the Starbuck store one Saturday during Starbuck's extremely restricted opening hours. No one was there and it was closed. I understand from a lady that spoke to a member of staff of Starbuck that it was closed as the shop keeper was making deliveries.... clearly they also have staffing issues). A complete was of time dealing with Robert and Starbuck.

So there's actually some stunning chairs in the window, really well done up. I don't know if they pay you for old chairs, and you just leave them. Or whether you pay for them to do up your old chairs how you want it. Certainly, there's a big choice of various fabrics and patterns. Sadly, I don't have a set of Victorian armchairs to hand to be able to pick one and see it delightly applied to said chez. But this is ok, I can appreciate the fine workmanship through their display window, and that's ok for me...
