I went in today to have a watch battery replaced and some repairs done on a ring. First I was told…read morethat the repair man wasn't in and I would have to wait until... maybe the end of the day or tomorrow or the day after (it was already 3:15pm). So then I asked about the repairs to the ring. I was referred to someone else, who told me that it would take at least 15 business days, but if I was willing to pay extra, I could have it in 3 days. Since this was really quite a simple repair, I was somewhat put out. I said that I was surprised it should take so long, and that I had never before walked into a jewelers that couldn't replace a watch battery on the spot. The girl told me that was because the fellow who would usually do this was upstairs right now doing all those 3-day repairs (the same fellow, I presume, that was supposedly not there at all.) While I was speaking to her, another customer came in asking for a pocket watch that he had brought in for repairs over a month and a half earlier. He said no one had called and he wanted to know what was going on with his watch. I decided that I would take my business elsewhere.

His team are so skilled and just breathed new life into our two high-quality armchairs which were over 25 years old. They followed and delivered on my particular requests to a tee! He doesn't have a ton of fabric to choose from but his selection was absolutely fine for our purposes. He finished the chairs within a week. They look great and are very comfortable to sit on.
