I thought I posted this review last Tuesday, July 7 but apparently it didn't post. I went into this UPS Store on Tuesday evening July 7 to just drop off a package. I didn't need a label or a receipt. There was a line but the gal (Adelena was her name) I approached was waiting for the next customer so I went up to the counter just to ask her quickly where I could leave the package and she didn't even let me finish my sentence before she literally yelled at me saying I needed to get in line. I tried to ask her again and she again yelled at me telling me I had to wait in line. She was very rude, very loud and it was embarrassing. I don't know why I couldn't just drop it off. It would've been no different than leaving it in one of the dropboxes. Every time I've been in here people have been either been rude or barely acknowledge you and seem unhappy with their jobs. There are other UPS drop off locations that I will be using just to avoid this one. The one in Edina has wonderful customer service. read more

They didn't have anywhere to leave drop off packages and said I have to wait in line. The staff was super rude. I drop packages off at various locations and have never had an issue leaving a package on the counter or wherever. ITS CALLED DROP OFF, ITS LITERALLY IN THE NAME!! read more

The supervisor of the Apple Valley UPS store was scanning in my return-items and managed to screw it up. Apparently, he didn't seem to realize that Happy Returns combines all the returned items into a single return QR Code.... Seems like may he - above all the employees in that store - should know that.... especially since he immediately asked me to remove all my returned items from their boxes (so clearly, he was aware of Happy Returns' protocols). Once he realized that he made the mistake, he just shrugged and mumbled out a "sorry" and then shouted for the next person to in-line. Whatever your expectations are - lower them. I will now have to fight with the retailer in order to get another return label generated before I may return the remainder of my items. Frustrating! read more

I went in there to return a phone that was already paid for by T-Mobile, and they wouldn't scan it to get their machine to print a label for me, I already had a prepaid tracking number and that didn't register in their brains that I need a label printed to even go on the box. The woman working there was very racist. Acting like they don't have any printers to make labels. Fuck this place. Go somewhere else totally. I hope their business crashes. read more

Worst UPS store ever. It is always a line out the door, the store is a dump inside, after waiting in a long line, my Amazon return was supposed to be boxed, which I had it in the box, but she said it needed to be taped shut, I said I have tape in my car but I didn't think I should tape it shut in case you would need to scan the item inside, so she said I needed to buy a roll of tape for $8 or she could tape it for $2. FedEx always is willing to tape it for you, this UPS location is ridiculous-it wasted time having her explain all that, she could have just taped it and been on to next customer. I had to go out to my car, tape my box and wait in the long line all over again- that is horrible customer service. I just moved to area, the UPS store in north oaks is top notch customer service-nothing like this location. I will not be back. read more

While scanning in my Amazon returns they switched associates and didn't scan all my Amazon returns. Got home and noticed the receipt was 1 item short. After calling and sitting on hold for 15 minutes they told me there was nothing they could do. Their customer service is terrible and every time I go in there, they are rude. I normally don't write reviews as I should. I was in MN to see family and thought it would be a great time to ship the china I was gifted from my grandmother. The young lady who helped me was wonderful and patient with me. When I got the price tag, I did have the hot flashes because it was pricey. Although, I received my shipment today, and even though it was pricey, I could tell they took their time in wrapping everything very carefully to be sure that everything was shipped perfectly. If I could leave zero stars I would. I have a package shipped there and was informed that in order for me to pick it up I have to pay $10 to get it. I have already paid for shipping on this package!! I called other stores around the area, and it seems that this APPLE VALLEY, MN is the only store that charges you to have packages shipped there. THIS IS WHY I PREFER FED EX!! read more

I went to the location that they used to be and they weren't there, so I called them to see if they were still open. I had just tried another shipping location and they were closed for good. I wanted to make sure that there still was a Apple Valley location. When I called, I was immediately placed on hold and left there to die. I looked it up on Maps and drove to the new location while still being on hold. I walked in the door, still on hold, and tried to get them to help me send out some parts. They wouldn't use the account number that was given to me to use to ship. I wasn't going to pay for the shipping myself, my company wouldn't reimburse me. I was unable to send out the items I needed to. A tatal waste of time. read more

I had a horrible experience dealing with the manager of the store. I have been to this location many times without any issues. I was spoke to in a very condescending manner and was told to move it to the back of the line when I had a question about my return to Amazon as others were waiting. He was aggressive in his approach and very rude. read more

Wish I could give zero stars on this one. Agree with the gentleman's comment about being a Christian. He (the owner) said he would pray for me, but for some reason, I didn't believe him. Lol. Anyhow, I was not at all surprised to see all the negative reviews for this store based off my experience with the owner (was appalled to find out it was the store owner I was dealing with). How he owns a business or how UPS allows this man to represent them is beyond me. So very rude. I said he was not being kind and he said I was not smart and began calling me names. The poor cashier was clearly terrified of the man. I felt sorry for her. He also would not provide his store number or his name unless I gave him my full name, phone number, etc. He said we're exchanging information and he doesn't need to tell me any business information unless I share my personal information. Called to ask if they have express boxes. They said they don't have any supplies. I asked if I had the right number and if they were in fact a UPS store - they replied that are a franchise. So don't expect UPS level service from them. read more

I go to this store often (at different times of the day) and have only had pleasant and prompt service.

I hope that Amazon's contract is almost up with UPS and they partner with someone else. UPS is doing Amazon an absolute disservice with their customer service. I have typically had a pretty seemless experience everytime I've needed to return an item from Amazon at this UPS store, until recently. I'll admit, my fault was not keeping my receipt. I've never had issues with not receiving a refund. On April 28th I returned 2 items from my baby registry. A small item for $7 and some change, and a pack and play which is just over $160. It's now May 9th and I haven't received the refund for the Pack and Play. I reached out to Amazon and they said that the Pack and Play was never scanned. This is so odd, as I gave the UPS worker 2 QR codes (1 for each item to scan) and he did. Now, because I don't have a receipt to prove to UPS.. I've found I'm just shit out of luck. The worst part of it, is the interactions I had with the UPS workers over the phone. I called, very nicely, and talked to "Abdul". I explained him my situation and asked if there was any way they would still have the pack and play (as it wouldn't have been shipped due to shipping label not being printed, as the QR return code was never scanned). He said no. I said ok, is there any way I could give you specifics: date, time, what I was wearing, etc and you could pull up cameras to see that I walked in with 2 items and left with 0. "No we don't have cameras". I said ok.. is there anyone else that I could talk to that could get more info for me and hopefully help me or reach some sort of a resolution "No the manager is on maternity leave". Okay is anyone covering for the manager while they're gone? "No". Ok... is there ANYbody that could help or offer me some guidance to resolve this. "No". Literally I felt like I was talking to a wall. Finally I just said I'd contact someone online and hopefully they'd have some suggestions. I filled out an online forum. And shortly after "Kevin" from the Apple Valley location. He starts the conversation by saying "Yeah I'm just calling because I saw you typed a book online". EXCUSE ME?? Yes because your associate was absolutely not helpful.. Then he proceeds to say he has never heard of this happening before and that there's nothing he can do. That I just need to contact Amazon as they typically roll over and will just refund me the amount. I couldn't believe his unprofessionalism. I am a local business woman in the area and I went to drop off a package and the girl working behind the counter, Taylor was her name, was about the rudest person I have ever encountered. The way she spoke to me and ordered me a round was unbelievable. I will never be back to this location because of her. I'm still in shock at how she spoke to me. I almost had to step back outside and look at the building. I wasn't sure I had stepped into a UPS Store. Because they were utterly annoyed with my presence. Obviously my presence was interfering with some other tasks they were doing. Neither the male or the female that were working today could smile or have anything other than a look of disgust on their face. Then when it came time to get pricing for a box it was $22 for what would be a $5 box from Home Depot. When I was struggling to pack my package the girl stood and stared at me. In my mind I'm thinking this is a UPS shipping store right? I do see on the wall behind me "we package and ship" ... nope the service was not offered. But when I asked for a piece of tape I would was told it would cost $4. Terrible service, terrible staff, I will not return. If you're looking for a good UPS Store stick with the one in Eagan. Need an option to score zero out of 5 stars! The owner of this store is amazingly RUDE and DEROGATORY. I called with an issue over 2 tracking numbers (one showed the package delivered fine, the other showed no information, as though the package never left his store). They were Amazon returns. He interrupted me multiple times to state that there are no tracking numbers associated with Amazon. I told him, nicely, that my receipt -- provided to me by his store -- contained tracking numbers and that they worked when plugged into UPS Tracking online. Again he argued that there are no tracking numbers. I repeated that yes, I have tracking numbers. He said "well, good for you". AVOID THIS LOCATION and especially the owner. read more

What a piece of s**t company. My 20 pound biometric safe I had delivered is COMPLETELY destroyed. The box is ripped and shredded. The safe inside has giant dents and paint chopped off with those which is visible through the box so it was done with shipping. The batteries that were inside the safe are dented and leaking battery acid, what little plastic pieces were included are broken and in smaller broken jagged pieces. I have had nothing but excellent service when using this UPS Store. I have had to use them frequently for sending documents out of state. In some cases I needed scanning services. In addition I have used them for document shredding. In every instance Kevin and his staff have been courteous and professional. read more

I've dropped off numerous packages the last week that already have labels on them and don't require a receipt to be given to me and I've never been asked to wait in line even when the line was out the door. It's just to drop them off. The little bald man at the front counter was extremely rude, he asked me to wait in line which if he would have said it more politely I probably would have considered waiting but he was very rude about it. I told him I just needed to drop them off as they were already labeled and he was again rude to me.  I use this store for so much of my company's  business but as of today that has changed and I will no longer be using this location nor will any of my co workers/friends or family.  I hope he doesn't treat anyone else this way. I was treated so poorly at AV location. The older gentleman should not be working with the public. No social skills or decent customer service vocabulary. The line was out the door on a Monday in September. Help is clueless. Highly recommend to avoid this location. I can't even imagine what the holidays will bring for this store. I had to wait around 30 minutes or possibly more while my mom went to Menards to buy some tape. She wanted to charge 8 dollars to tape the box. I'm used to amazon where you bring in things and you don't even need to package it. So I didn't realize they would charge so much to tape the box. The box was heavy so I waited. I asked if I could have one of their masks. The store is small and often busy. They wear cheap masks that don't cost hardly anything and she said sorry no she couldn't give me one. I have health risks and try to be cautious so it was hurtful to me. I didn't wear one in the store because I didn't realize how long I would be and had forgotten to put one on. read more

I stopped in this ups store this morning for the first and last time. There was an angry looking older bald guy at the counter, no other employees or customers. I had one small package to drop off, it had a prepaid mailing label on it. Without any greeting or even looking up, in a very anger voice, said to go to the other end of the counter. A young lady come out of the back to help me. I handed her my package and she asked me if wanted a receipt, I said no and started to walk out. He turned to her and yelled at her for not checking my package first. I asked her if it was fine, she said yes. This man has anger management issues on top of being extremely rude!! Wow. I just left this UPS store. Both individuals there looked like someone was forcing them to be there. Uninterested, uninviting, rude, disrespectful, and completely annoyed with me and the service I needed. Amazon has claimed to make returns easier and hassle free with their bar codes, but not if I have to go to this store again! The gentleman that "helped" me, printed the labels and just put them on my packages for me to apply myself (I didn't have to do that at a different location, although not the biggest issue), and when the self adhesive on one of my packages got messed up and didn't work right, I asked if I could just grab a piece of tape to make sure it was secure. He annoyingly offered me a roll of tape to buy or he could tape it with "store tape" for an additional $1.50. Really???? It's not like I'm unprepared and bringing you a bunch of unopened packages for you to seal up. I needed one piece of tape. Not going to this UPS again. Ever. ZERO STARS!!! Avoid this one at all costs! I had to pay $1.50 for an extra strip of tape for my box to be shipped. AN EXTRA PIECE of TAPE!!! Seriously any other location would have just taped it. Ridiculous! The checkout girl was like, either you pay $1.50 for us to tape it or you can buy our cheapest roll for $6.00! Very disappointed in the MANAGER'S customer service. I had an oversized item that would not fit back into the original box. I purchased a box from UPS and simply asked if I could step back to put the item into the new box. The clerk asked the manager and he said,"No, it's like going to McDonalds purchasing a hamburger and asking to cook it there." Then proceeded to tell me it's a service they provide ($18) but if I didn't want that on top of my $14 box I'm welcome to pack it at home and bring it back. Very unprofessional, very rude. read more
