Such a great experience here. The husband and wife owners helped us deal with a complicated mess of documents that needed motorizing as well as live Scan finger printing and they were nothing but professional and polite. I've been coming to this location for over 10 years and am always impressed with how helpful everyone is. Shipments get processed quickly, they always provide me with different speed/price options, and on the very rare occasion something doesn't go perfectly, they get it fixed. Was a very disappointing notary service. The guy was completely incompetent. I have a dual citizenship and my last name is different from US ID , so I gave my foreign passport. The name on the letter that I needed to be notarize matched the name on my foreign passport . He refused to notarize it because my middle name initials was not translated in English on my foreign passport. Which is very stupid since it's an official document and you actually travel with that all over the world and no one asking to translate the middle name in English... I had to call Mobile Notary company to do the job. Which they did perfectly fast and easy! I wish I used them right away and didn't go to the UPS, complete waste of time! Not professional, if they don't know how to do notary, shouldn't offer that service at all. read more

Walked in with a box to ship, I had already printed out the prepaid label, all it needed was a bit of tape to seal the top. After the store operater sealed my box he proceeded to charge me $2.00 for the deed of putting tape on the lid. Crap dude, it was only the lid of my box! Are you kidding me? The UPS Store on 2nd Ave in Burlingame does not charge this. Why? Because it's called customer service! He was still going to get a handling percentage from UPS for accepting my box anyhow. I rather pay a homeless man $2.00 to buy a beer than give away money for a piece of tape to which I could have bought a whole role at CVS or Walgreens accross the street. read more

The service at this UPS store was incredible. My husband and I were in a huge rush to get several documents notarized and four sets of fingerprints scanned, and all of that documentation shipped overnight. They helped us with a smile despite the fact that we came in 30 minutes before closing! read more

Wanted to rewrite the legal contract my employer provided and tried to charge extra when all that was required was notarization of a signature and sighting of government ID. I will be notifying UPs of the crooked practice at this location. read more

I went on Saturday for a notary and was told a notary would be there all day on Monday. I showed up Monday around 12:30 p.m., and was told the notary already left for the day. read more

This place is great compared to all the other UPS stores I have ever been to! Nicole the worker in the front is a very cool girl and does her job well. Her customer service skills are great and she definitely makes all these other negative yelp reviews question peoples experiences. They also do notary services! That's a plus! read more

I drive about two miles further than I need to so I could go to the UPS at the Plaza. The service there is amazing! Nicole and Andy went so far out of their way to help me and I appreciate it so much. I highly recommend this location because I have never been disappointed by the prices or their service. read more

Great, friendly service from Lalit and Shalini. Plenty of parking either in the back or in the front of the strip mall. LOL @ the complaints about charging for tape, it's pretty standard practice at most UPS and USPS locations. If you don't have the time to think ahead and prepackage your box before going to UPS, then don't complain about having to pay for packaging tape. CVS is literally in the same strip mall location if you want to buy an entire roll. No matter the day or time or how busy it might get in the store, Lalit always has a friendly smile for the customers. Shalini is always professional and courteous. Their employees are also quite polite and friendly. This is the reason i always go to this location rather than the Burlingame location which is closer to my house. read more

Right, so after my last review -- my first ever on Yelp -- of the other UPS location in Burlingame (at 1325 Howard), where I learned that customer service was an alien concept to at least one person who works there (and btw that's based on more than one interaction), I decided to check out this one in Burlingame Plaza. Short version: it was night and day. So the guy there, Lalit, was just unbelievable. He was friendly, he smiled, he found a form template that worked, he gave me guidance on another document that I needed notarized. I left one happy camper. And he didn't bend any rules: he was clear about what he could and couldn't do (notarization has strict rules). This UPS location is much further from me, but I'll happily drive another five minutes for 100x better customer service. This place (and Lalit) is actually a role model for service vendors in general, not just logistics/notarization. Two thumbs up. read more

Have been here quite often for various reasons. It's not my fault nothing that I order online seems to fit. Anyway, between dropping off packages and sending faxes, this location has been a true find. Faxing at nearby Millbrae Kinko's or whatever they are called now will set you back $2.49, but here it's only $1.00 and they do it for you with a smile. The owners, whom I believe are a husband and wife, are pleasant and accommodating to a fault. Sweet and respectful even when a customer is angry with them because they showed up past the UPS deadline. read more

The first time you go to this excellent store you will save time, money or both. After that you will save both time and money. The new owners make the time to get to know you and be helpful - it is a wonderful thing to see in our busy world. Besides fast business transactions, you will also find the most useful and inexpensive items, like a well-made small magnifying card or a larger quick study outline for computer work. The greeting cards I send usually warrant a thank you phone call from the recipient. And if you need help using their fax machine, the owners give advice or even do it for you if you wish. read more

I agree with Josh. I walked in for the second time today; I didn't have anything ready, so I was prepared to spend at least 20 minutes of my lunch hour mailing a package to my granddaughter, but that wasn't the case at all. Lalit had all my information from the first time I was there and he did everything for me. I was out of there in about 4 minutes. It was great. I work close by and will recommend The UPS Store in Burlingame to my co-workers. read more

Lalit and his team are the best in the business! I have shipped and received packages from this location for 4 years, and never had any issues with delivery or pickup. I've been to this location three times, because it's convenient to me. I doubt if I'll go back. Each time the same young woman has been there behind the counter and either assists me or is there while someone else assists me. (I'm saying this for management to be aware of.) Without exception, she talking to co-workers complaining about this or that, some old customer did this or she resents something either happening there or in her life. It's utterly unprofessional and annoying to listen to. Very few customers want to listen to employee banter and complaints while standing in line or being served. Do it when no one is there or in the break room. read more

LOUSY SERVICE/ATTITUDE, when requiring actual service of more than a minute such as 'NOTARY' not very knowledgeable when it come to ID requirements. For the record, when having a valid US visa on an expired foreign passport AND / WITH a valid foreign passport, (w/o a US visa) it meets the requirements of a valid US id !!!! The foreign UPS agent not too smart. However, same day, at the UPS at Howard location were knowledgeable, we presented both passports, no attitude and we were able to have our documents notarized within 5min. $20.00 read more

the office hour is not right, always close earlier, especially on every Saturday, is closed before 1PM, beware if you really want to ship and pickup at Saturday. Although I live closer to another UPS store, I have always enjoyed coming in to Lalit's store to enjoy his friendly staff and great customer service. There are many UPS Stores, but the people behind the counter are what matters most. I will be going here for a long time. read more

I've had a box at this location for 12 years and probably will for another 12. I'm out of town a great deal and for long periods of time. My mail is well taken care of by Lalit and her staff. I get better service here than by my concierge service at the pricey luxury condo with big HOA fees I own in San Francisco. I'd give this UPS Store an A+. read more

Convenient locations to drop off packages, but beware actually purchasing any supplies from this place. I used a roll of Scotch tape (prominently displayed, but no price label in sight) only to find out at checkout the tape was nearly $10. Save your money and stop off at Walgreens across the street to buy the same tape for $3. read more

Family ran, always opens on-time, responsive to customer needs, and the owners are wonderful. Every time I walk in they immediately are getting my mail and/or packages.
