The Good: 1. They have plenty of services available: Packaging, Boxing, Shipping, Document Services, Mailbox, Moving Supplies, UPS, FedEx, DHL and USPS. 2. Super easy to drop off my packages. The drop off locations are clearly marked. 3. The employees are helpful because they always answer my questions and don't mind weighing my packages to confirm that the weight matches the shipping label! (My scale at home only goes up to 3 lbs.) 4. The staff always make sure I get the best rate by reviewing all available shipping options! Whoop! 5. The location is perfect....very easy to access with plenty of parking available. 6. FedEx picks up around 5ish....which gives me most of the afternoon to prep my packages for shipment! Bonus!! 7. Everyone has their own horror stories about standing in line at the local post office during the…read moreholiday season. Lines that go on forever, and are so slow that a bottle Heinz ketchup flows twice as fast. Thankfully, a friend of mine told me about this place on M-17, just west of Golfside Road. I needed to mail a package to my friend in Tokyo, so I went to the local post office on my day off, and there had to be nearly 50 people waiting in line. Then I remembered Goin' Postal was right near a specialized grocery store that I really like on M-17. So I left the line behind and drove out west of town. Was I ever lucky, I was the only person in line, and after I filled out my customs forms, purchased some stamps I was right out the door in less than 10 minutes. The staff at this place is very friendly and gave me several shipping options to choose from. I can just imagine as I drove home, most of the people in that line at the local post office were still waiting in line to be served. That said, I was amazed that my package arrived within a week. I highly recommend this place, as they are faster than the local post office, and they don't have the attitude that some of the postal workers have.

While I was in line, I noticed that they really offer quite a lot of services I wasn't aware of, including document shredding and printing of posters and mailers. They even have greeting cards. They were also fundraising for Toys for Tots at the counter, and accepting donations for the cause, and I'm always a sucker for a business that supports good causes!

I felt rushed and like I didn't matter. I also noticed rudeness towards another customer completing a transaction right before us. Unacceptable. We left ASAP as we will never do business with a company that treats their customers this way. It wasn't even busy! Unbelievable. I'd recommend driving to a different location and avoid this one. I was pleasantly surprised that they had free packing material at this location. Tape, peanuts, bubble wrap to use for packing were on a table and available gir use. This was a plus because I only had a box. The price for shipping is a little steep but not much that can be done about that. You can ship via UPS, FEDEX, USPS. They give you the lowest option which is a plus. Overall it was a good experience. Convenient and a short drive. I will use them again.

On another occasion I had a package that there was some question about the QR code and the manager actually called the company for me and let me speak with them to clarify. He told me the least expensive method was to use FedEx. When I POLITELY pointed out that it was a flat rate box (with a less expensive shipping price than I was being quoted) he puts a hand on his hip and says, "Yeah, if you go to the post office. We're not them." I returned later to get a key made and luckily got someone else to help, although ultimately I wasn't able to get the key either. At least he was reasonably human. I wasn't upset by the lack of service, but there is an appropriate way to speak to potential customers. I'm leaving two stars instead of one because I haven't had this issue before. Maybe he woke up on the wrong side of the bed or something, but I doubt I'll return.
