UPS is busy this last day of the year, perhaps with holiday returns like me. The long line moved quickly. I am glad I didn't become impatient and leave. While waiting, I moved a sign reminding everyone who noticed it of all the services offered by UPS. Had a bad experience with UPS all around and one particular store I used was not helpful at all when I needed to file a claim and I did all the leg work by myself and had to contact them weeks later to find out my claim was not accepted. I happily switched to FedEx. read more

I went in this morning for a notary and was greeted by what I believe were a mother and daughter setting up shop. I expected it to be a very informal process but it turned into a lovely conversation with the supervisor/manager of the establishment. She was very helpful, polite and kind. I received a notification from the post office that a package I've been waiting for was delivered Friday at 2:14pm. I received no email from the UPS store, like they're supposed to do, as one of the services you pay them for. So I come to the UPS store on Saturday early afternoon, with very limited time. When I arrive, a woman tells me that she hasn't had time to sort the packages and she's busy with clients, so did I just want to wait until Monday for my package? I was like, No, it's been here for 24 hours and I made a special trip here today to pick it up! Ever since new owners took over a few months ago, service has been unreliable, and you really don't get what you're paying good money for. Half the time, verbal communication is difficult because most of the people waiting on you have very thick accents. Sadly, thinking about looking for a different UPS store for my mailbox, which is a shame because I've had this one for years and I've never had a problem before now. Update: I was put on hold for almost 10 minutes, only for the woman at the counter to tell me that she's been with customers and hasn't had time to look for my package still. She knew it was me that was calling; she's couldn't have told me that when she first answered the phone? On top of that, she reassured me that my package wasn't going anywhere. Was that ever in question lol? I told her that I'd just had to postpone my appointment and could sit and wait in my car but not for much longer. I told her I'd call back in a few minutes. Paid 67$ for next day air. Took 2 weeks due to extended facility holding time. Called to rectify the situation and was essentially told this is the norm and UPS no longer honors their guaranteed delivery time. God awful customer service. Avoid this location If you're shipping something of importance. read more

I had the most disturbing experience at the Allentown Blvd, Hbg, PA UPS store with an employee by the name of, 'Tiffany'. She was rude, spoke down to and treated me as though I was a bother. After Tiffany pointed at the store computer and told me in a curt tone to print a label and that it would cost me $4.00, with no instruction as to how I carry out the task until asked, she abruptly left to the backroom. As I'm standing at the computer, I hear Tiffany and the only other employee, who then joined her in the adjacent room, talking/ gossiping about another customer, whom apparently Tiffany had issue with earlier. As I'm waiting for their return and had more questions, another customer entered the store. They finally returned after the woman raised her voice vocalizing she was in a rush and had someone waiting for her outside. Both Tiffany and the other employee then tend to the other customer, while I waited for further assistance. I was having difficulty printing the label and didn't understand what the problem was, however, it was obvious Tiffany was the least bit interested in helping me. She'd bark one or two word responses/ instructions. Never once smiled. Never once was welcoming or curtious. I finally pointed out how antagonistic and unprofessional she was and her response was, "get out of MY store" then grabbed my wallet off the counter with my ID, cash and credit cards and walked away with it! What she planned to do with my wallet, I'll never know, because I pulled it out of her hand as she walked away from me and as I'm gathering my large knee high box off the counter, pulls out her phone declaring she's calling the police to have me removed. I left, however she continued to harrass and intimidate, by following me outside and as I'm putting the box in my car, I hear her on the phone lying to the police claiming I accosted her, when all I did was grab my wallet she'd STOLEN out of her hand! No violence on my part. Did she not think the store camera would prove she's a liar? I called the police as well. I also used my bank debit card to login to the UPS store computer, of which they've been paid. So not only did Tiffany try to take off with my wallet, she didn't provide the service I had already paid for. Tiffany appears burned out with her job, or life, and miserable. Maybe she was jonesing for another cigarette, because she smelled like an ashtray, who knows. Should UPS corporate be notified that this is the type of person they have representing their company? Customer service at this location is top notch. My package was shipped from this UPS store to California; however, the delivery driver in California did not successfully drop off my package at the recipient's address. I called this UPS store and their employee, Jennifer, went above and beyond to assist me. She took my contact information down and did some research to locate the package. Once she located the package, she called me back (the same day) and redirected my package to a more reliable address in California to ensure my package would not be lost a second time. Jennifer not only exceeded my expectations but she solidified my trust in UPS because she made it her priority to help resolve my issue. I would definitely recommend this UPS store to anybody located in the area because if the rest of the staff is anything like Jennifer... kudos to a gold star delivery service! The UPS store is conveniently located inside the plaza where Karns and CVS are. I come here when I need to have things notarized and its quick and painless and $7 later I am on my way. I haven't used any of their other services here but I did want to give a shout out for the ease of this particular service because I find that notaries aren't always easy to find. read more

The owner here is horrible. I wish I could give this place negative rating. I regret not going to the nearby USPS or Fedex locations. I wish I had seen the previous review but you might think what could go wrong with delivering a package right? Wrong. The guy who works here (might be the owner) never acknowledges his mistakes and has really lame excuses for any point you make. Also, they are terrible liars. BEWARE. If you ever are left with no other choice than to go this this terrible place to ship something, make sure you weigh your package in front of you and ask if the charges seem too high. He refused to change my order because it was about $15 more than what it should be charged for because he had already printed the receipt. He causally said "well you it would make much of a difference anyway... just 9-10 bucks". Huh? One more thing about this store is that you cannot call the UPS head office to make any complaints or get things done right in case this guy screws up. That is because this is an independent store and UPS customer service doesn't want to deal with the mistakes this "independent store" makes. Save you time, money and a lot of headaches and go somewhere else. read more

WOW............... Wondering where the store you visited is located. I have a business and use them quite often. The girl sitting in the back room in sight of the counter is OK with me. Imagine yourself standing on your feet for 4-6 hours to make a great first impression when I walk in... C'mon guys "Get Real". I'm very pleased with them and the clueless owner must have been the guy Bud purchased the UPS store from. Help is pleasant and understand their job......... The owner and the employees here are extremely rude and are known to lie. My fiancé and I had called another store ahead of time asking about printing services and prices in which the woman on the phone identified the company as "Print Works". Since we are new to the area, we went into this UPS Store thinking that they were affiliated with "Print Works" and asked the woman at the desk named Jennifer if this was "Print Works" and she responded yes without hesitation. So thinking that the prices that we were told on the phone were the same in the store we carried on with printing the copies that we needed. It wasn't until after I received my receipt that I realized I was way overcharged for 6 sheets of paper--$3.09. My fiancé asked the woman why we were charged so much when over the phone we were told that prints were $0.06 per page and she had confirmed when we first walked in that this was that business. She immediately denied everything and claimed that she had never agreed to such a thing. We were never disclosed prior to using the computer to print these documents that there was a $1.50 charge for just using the computer and then an additional $0.25 per page. When the manager, Bud, came to front he approached my fiancé and I in a very rude manner, holding a piece of paper that he said had all the printing prices listed. I told him I was never shown this paper nor is it posted anywhere in the store for customers to clearly see when using the computer, but he cut me off and talked over top of me so that he could continue to talk with an attitude, scrunching up his face saying that he does not offer refunds upon our request. DO NOT waste your time, energy, or money at this store. Instead go to "Print Works On Demand, Inc." which is right down the street at 5630 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17112. The staff is pleasant and very helpful. Their copy/print prices cannot be beaten either! $0.06 per page!!! And if you print more than 100 pages the price goes down to $0.03 per page. read more

When I went in this store to drop off a prepaid package, the young girl tending things was sitting in the back room. She came out immediately, smiling, and she took my package. I waited while she processed it. She finally asked if I wanted a receipt. I said yes, she printed it, said have a nice day and I was on my way. A nice enough transaction with one exception - she or someone else must have been smoking in there! Small store and it reeked of cigarette smoke! Wouldn't want to have my mail delivered there, it would surely smell! I'll continue to drop off packages here if/when it is convenient. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. It took 2 employees 1/2 hour to ship one package to Canada. They could not figure out how to enter all of the information in the computer, and then, when they FINALLY had it all in, they had misspelled both my and the recipient's email addresses. So had to do it all again. And then I was charged a $5.00 "Export Fee" on an item with a $10.00 value. They told me that it was a standard required fee, on all shipments to Canada. But strangely, the Post Office does not charge this. (Turns out, export fees are for packages with a value of $2500.00 or more. Not even close) And then, when I contacted the main UPS headquarters, I was told "The UPS Stores are privately owned, franchises, and therefore may have their own additional fees" aka, they can screw you over and there is nothing we will do about it. The last time I went to this store, I swore I would never come back. It was a couple years ago I believe l, and I had the worst experience of my life with not just the staff but the owner as well. However, on my way out of town and with a time sensitive package, my wife convinced me to stop as we really had no choice. I could not have been more surprised or pleased with my discovery that the store is now UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and with new staff!! The owner was not there when I went in today but the two ladies who helped me where extremely polite/helpful/friendly and completely changed my opinion of this store. They were not only friendly, they offered me several prices and shipment dates to help me make the best choice and get my shipment there quickly. Unfortunately I do not remember their names, but whoever was there on 7/13/16 around 2 or 3pm-BIG shout out! I will certainly return to this location for any future shipments. read more
