I went to the UPS store and asked them to track it. John was so helpful and we discovered that I had put the wrong address on the package. He had the package sent back to his store. Today, he called to tell me that the package had been returned and he sent it off to my young friend in Las Vegas....better late than never. I can not thank John and his staff enough for their help fixing MY mistake.

A younger, thin man, who has been there a while, is the most rude service person I have ever encountered. I have no idea how the owner doesn't see how he treats people. Today I had two soft packages to return to clothing stores. These were not inexpensive clothes either. He watched me tape the packages up and then when I got to the counter, he said "taping those packages was a waste of time and tape, I need to open them" and then proceeds to pull out an knife and slice right through each package down the center so aggressively! I said "WOAH, excuse me, but those are clothes in there!" And he said "Yeah whatever." I could NOT believe this happened. I finally called the owner and complained about him. This is so over the line and unacceptable. I will never go back and if you do go, don't go in his line!!!

I'd seen the negative reviews regarding the staff, but didn't experience anything negative. While SC has relaxed their COVID rules, the UPS store during the first visit was limiting people into the store and strictly adhering to the mask rules and distancing. The second time after masks weren't required, most of the staff were still wearing masks along with most of the patrons. My drop off was very easy. They took me quickly, reviewed the information and even though the return I had was at the weight limit, there were no issues. They handed me a receipt and tracking information. The employees I worked with were very friendly and helpful----- as well as efficient.

I do a lot of Amazon returns here, and this store has mixed up my "no box, no label" packages on…read moremore than one occasion, so I don't get my refunds from Amazon--and there's nothing I can do about it! (I save all my receipts from the UPS store, but Amazon couldn't care less.) For example, I had three items to return: two with the same QR and one with a different QR, but the UPS store must have put them all together and/or mislabeled them, so they all went to the same place. I got a notice from Amazon saying they received a product they weren't expecting and they wouldn't give me a refund for that item. Grrrrr.

Once it is your turn it takes about the 30 seconds the entire transaction. Nothing out of the ordinary or above and beyond for this visit. At least I am getting around finding out where these places are in my new neighborhood. There was no payment to be made as the return shipping is no cost. The quality of the item was not what was advertised so it went back. If everything was as presented Amazon would get less returns and UPS would only be delivering not taking unnecessary returns.

Apparently, UPS in Florida did not like the address, even though packages had been delivered there many times before. Somewhere along the line, the package ended up in limbo. Sierra at the front desk at The UPS Store on Lady's Island was absolutely lovely and helped me gather as much information as she could. She truly cared and did everything possible on her end. Then John Horton stepped in. John personally called me and immediately went into mission mode to help locate the package. My friend had already moved and had a wedding to attend, and the package contained her outfit and other important items she needed before leaving. Thanks to John's persistence, kindness, and determination, we were finally able to track the package down and have it delivered to a UPS hub in Florida, where my friend was able to retrieve everything in time for the wedding. Came in today to drop off an Amazon return and was told that they couldn't accept my return because…read morethe computers were down and would take about 20 minutes to reboot. So I waited 20 minutes, only to come back in and have them tell me the same thing. So they basically didn't know when the computers would be back up, didn't bother to tell me that initially, and they can't do anything manually. Their response was: well it's basically inconvenient for everyone. No apology. Ridiculous. Well, now we know where NOT to go.
