TL;DR Review: Filthy store…read more I simply cannot believe how dirty this store was. Granted, I wasn't expecting hospital- or even restaurant-level cleanliness but I didn't expect this. First, I visited this store on December 13, 2024, searching for a whiteboard and when I found them, I couldn't believe how filthy the area was. On the whiteboards, there were dead small bugs on top of the box, like when you see dead bugs after a spider finished with them. Behind those boxes, it was even more dirt, dead bugs, and other debris. When you look down the aisles, the floors obviously have not been mopped in days, maybe weeks or even months! There was trash on the floor near the whiteboards so no one swept this floor. I couldn't believe it and meant to write this review on December 13, 2024 but I forgot about it. Now, that I remembered, I didn't want to write this review without at least going back to the store. So, on January 9, 2025, while I was out, I visited this Staples, just to see if maybe in December, I caught this store on a bad day or something. Nope. Same dirty floors, same pile of dead bugs on the same whiteboard, same trash and debris ... ugh! I don't understand how the employees or the manager have no embarrassment about how filthy this store is. I don't get it. I took some pictures but I wish I had the presence of mind to have taken the exact same photos, from the same angles to compare from Dec 13th to Jan 9th. Regardless, this isn't what I was expecting from a business that is open to the public. I've been to this Staples a few times but this was the first time (12-13-2024) I noticed how dirty it was!

I ordered a chair online and was sent the wrong chair, which is not this stores fault. We dragged the chair outside for 2 weeks, no one came, so they said they would have UPS pick it up.Dragged it outside 3 more days. Finally asked if I could just take it to UPS myself. The customer service representative said no, but that I could return it to a store. Today, we went out of our way to go to this store to return this chair. Hunter would not even let me fully explain my situation and was talking to someone on his headset instead of listening to me, and said something to the person on the headset about not hearing them because of "an audio disturbance", which was me. He absolutely would not let me explain and said it was past the return date. We lugged this very heavy chair back home again and called customer service again, and are awaiting a courier pickup again. The employees here seemed understaffed and overwhelmed, and I am sympathetic to that, but it is rude to not let someone explain and after this whole experience, I would never buy anything from Staples again.

While looking at the printer section for ink, one of the employees gave me a side-eye look and said "can I help you find something" in a snarky, arrogant tone. After being told the ink was up by the registers, they were silent until I left the area. The employee who helped me find the ink I needed found exactly which one was compatible and we went to the register and I purchased the product. The reason for 2 stars is because no one was greeting (or up front in the area to greet), the employees on the floor were all talking together instead of working, and the woman's tone of voice was unnecessary when she told me where to locate a product. I did not want to give a 1 star because the woman who helped me find which ink was compatibility with my printer was beyond helpful and respectful.
