This is a modern business that does things the old fashioned way. And by that, I mean that they take care of the community they are in. Joey and the rest of the team are hometown heroes who are patient and kind and helpful. I've seen elderly people who would normally get ignored or eye rolls at a big box store walk out happy and taken care of. When my daughter spent her hard earned money to buy a game that wouldn't play on her machine, Joey and co. put in hours of work and troubleshooting that went way beyond what was necessary and they blessed her with a machine that not only plays the game she worked so hard to get, but it had taken her scholastic study to the next level. After finally getting my computer back, I took it and walked to the car. As I began to put it into the front seat I noticed that the upper right corner of the screen had been cracked. When I went back in the owner told one of the salespeople to look up how much it would cost to replace and told me they would look over their internal video to see how that might have happened. After 2 weeks of no responses and non-returned phone calls, I took the matter to the local BBB. After BBB made 3 or 4 attempts to contact them they finally replied with very unprofessional and hateful comments. Brought my husbands computer because was running loud and he was worried the fan was going out. I brought it in they said they think water pump was going out and estimated around $170 it fix. I was fine with that and left it for 3-4 days they called me to say it was finished the fan was find it was just dry dusty they cleaned it and told me over the phone they would charge me only for labor ($75) I arrived to pick it up and then told me it was free. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Missed a scheduled appointment booked a week in advance. Drilled me for tech name, phone contact, etc. Acted as though I must have imagined the appointment. I would stay away from this place. I purchased a used computer from them that came with a 30 day guarantee printed on the receipt. Within the 30 days a line of pixels went out on the screen. I figured, no problem, it is within the 30 days, I can just return it, right? Wrong. First of all the store associate acted like he had no clue what to do without a manager's approval. He said that he would check with a manager and get back to me in an hour or two. Half a day passed and I didn't hear from them so I called. He said he still didn't have an answer and that he would call in another couple hours. Again, I waited over 4 hours and no one called. I called again. He still has no clue. Why should this be so hard? The computer you sold me is broken and I'd like to return it, per your 30 day guarantee. A WEEK GOES BY with the same run around. I finally hear from the manager John after calling DAILY. He says that a different person, a woman, has to approve the return. He said that "my case was being looked at." Case??? Why is this so complicated??? After another few days without any word I call. The store clerk gives me John's personal number because I can never seem to reach him. When I call John, his tone is hostile. Instead of answering my query about the status of he return he demands, "Why did you wait until the 30 day period was almost over to decide you weren't happy with the computer??" I explained that I brought it in as soon as the line of pixels went out. Then he changed tactic... "I've never seen a screen like that before," says the man who has never actually physically observed my computer, "I wonder what it has been through in your house for those 30 days..." I asked him if he was accusing me of damaging my computer on purpose to elicit a return. He made no comment. I am still in shock from this interaction. What kind of business practice is that? To refuse to return a damaged item that you had guaranteed, and then to ACCUSE the consumer of causing the damage on purpose? Ludicrous. I hope these people go out of business for their immoral business practices. read more

Weird, I have been coming here for years with my computer repairs and I seldom leave disappointed. I'm sad to see so many bad reviews. My last visit on 7-14-18 I had called and told them my stupid computer had locked me out. Even though I had been using the same password to log in every day for the past 2 years. I tried to fix it myself for 4 hours with no success. I called and they to me they were open till 9 pm so off I went. I was glad they changed the name of the place since the first name was hard to remember. Goose carried my baby in for me and I explained the problem. I am handicapped so he brought me a chair and let me sit and watch so I could learn what I did wrong, which was nothing. I told him all the steps I did to try and get in. He tried the same ones. He had a magic boot disc that finally get them in and was able to reset the password. Had dinner at Subway while I waited and when I finished so was he. The cost was appropriate for the work since I didn't need to be opened up. And as an added bonus he took it outside and blew out the dust it was quite dry and dusty inside where I could not get to. He gently loaded it back into my car for me as well. Excellent customer service, made me feel special and valued. I have recommended MANY friends to go there and even recommended them to the lady working at Subway who asked me how their work was. read more

This is a great place to get your computer worked on. I feel like I know a lot about computers when it comes to basic operation but sometimes things just stop working. The staff is so nice even when I didn't know how to tell them what was wrong with my computer. They always call and let you know progress while they are working on it. I took in some old floppy disks. Quoted $25 if they found anything on them and they would convert to disk or thumb drive. They charged me over $38.00 and told me there was a lot on them. Took thumb drive and get gobbledegook when I put it in. After a phone call they said I would have to purchase a family tree maker to read it because it was family tree info they found on it. Really. I have family tree maker kit and even with it installed the info does not show up. Will not return. Will drive the 40 miles to Geek Squad for anything computer I need from now on, instead of putting my money into a local company. read more

I have taken my computers to Digital Cowboys several times for several reasons. A tech. there called "GOOSE" has taken care of me most of the time, and I have to say, he knows what he is doing. I had a serious problem yeatarday and had called Microsoft Live Tech service, and after nearly 25 minutes and tech came on and when I told him what the repair message said he said "Oh my, that is serious, you may just loose everything on your hard drive, and may hurt the mother board." He further advised that if I knew a certified Microsoft repair shop I might get it fixed there. Thats when I called Digital Cowboys and asked for GOOSE. I told him the repair massage and he stated " No big thing, bring it over and I can fix it with in 10 minutes, you will not loos anything". I did, he did, and it works fantastic again.
