Absolutely the Worst UPS Store Experience -- Hostile, Rude, and Unprofessional If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Walking into this UPS store was like walking into a wall of hostility. The staff--yes, both of them--made it crystal clear that customer service is dead here. Their tone, their attitude, their energy--nasty, dismissive, and downright aggressive. You could hear the rage in their voices, like helping customers was a personal inconvenience. I've never felt so unwelcome in a business that is supposedly here to serve the public. There was no greeting, no assistance--just eye rolls, sarcasm, and tension in the air thick enough to slice. It felt more like a standoff than a service interaction. It's no surprise this place is drenched in one-star reviews. The only people who end up here are people who desperately need to use it, and unfortunately stumble in--like I did. I also have used their notary services which are adequate for basic notary needs. I have always found their staff to be friendly and accommodating. (if zero was an option, I would have given it) Surprisingly, a franchise such as the UPS Store would be so particular and concerned about 18 inches of packing tape. So much so as to charge $2 for the convenience of sealing off a package. I travel throughout the nation, and this is the first time that I have been charged (no, I don't expect every UPS Store to tape the package for free, but I do ask if they do charge, and they never have). Really, how much does 18 inches of tape really cost a store compared to the weight of goodwill that one would receive? Disappointing final product. Quality control on final product was disappointing. There were 4 postcards returned to our office d//t address issues. Each card had been cut poorly with uneven edges, logo cutoff, and cut into the next postcard. The type of paper was extremely poor, the print itself was fine. For resolution I was given a credit for labor, but nothing towards postage. They were unwilling to provide a quality replacement, stating they could not provide the level of quality that I wanted."I feel at this point no matter what we produce or do it's not going to be the quality you're expecting." We are at the mercy of our copiers and we can't make the quality any better only use different paper and ensure that it is cut evenly which again I don't think that will fix this issue. At this point, I paid for postage on a piece that gives poor representation. I was promised, "A lasting impression,", "The UPS Store® to help you look good...","professional results.", unfortunately, the lasting impression is not a positive one. Sadly disappointed. read more

It is so rare that I give a business 1 star but the extremely poor customer service I have experienced at this location now twice, has motivated this post. It is very obvious the cashiers at this location do not like amazon returns. In the past I had to wait an unecessary amout of time to get help and then the lady behind the counter made sure to prolong the drop off. I went yesterday, mid afternoon. It wasn't especially busy, but I waited for 15 mins just to get someone to help me. Then when one of the cashiers asked what I needed, the other lady yelled out, "It looks like amazon". She then went to assist the other cashier rather than just process my return. She came to my side of the counter gave me a bag and said, "Bag this yourself", and then walked away again. When she came back, she scanned my code and within 30 secs the return was complete. Now why in the work would you need to make me wait this long, if the process is so easy and short. I use UPS to return Amazon stuff all the time, but for whatever reason this location makes it so difficult and the reason behind this is not apparent. I've been a long time customer of this store. I went in this weekend to ship some things. Everything was packed but I needed one more padded envelope and a roll of tape. The clerk yelled and said I couldn't pack things in there because that's a service they offer. First I'm not paying for your over priced packing service. Two it's a padded envelope to seal and write an address on. Three I have done this exact thing many times before with no issue. This business is just being greedy. The rudest customer service I've experienced yet from a UPS location. Door doesn't prop open and they won't allow you to use their functional rolling cart (only dollies). For someone who owns an e-commerce business and has a heap of packages (all different sizes) that simply does not work. The Spirt Airlines of packaging because its ridiculously high for what they provide. They charged $2.75 to print out a UPS label that for some reason they couldn't scan from my phone. Then they want to charge $2.00 for taping a Amazon return. Youd think theyd give me the roll of tape with that price. Nope! Some UPS stores will tape a box for free. This one is more strict. Not sure if they are hard up for money because the last time they stapled promotions to my receipt and this time they tried to upsell me on stamps. I came in to buy a shipping box and send with a prepaid label. I was told that it would be, on top of the cost of the box, $15 to put tape on the box. Otherwise, I could buy the tape and the box but I would have to go out in 120 degree weather and pack my own box. I wouldn't even be allowed to do it in the store. Is this normal? Ill tell you what. This place is the best. Laura was soooo helpful when I was having trouble with my package. She took great care of me. You dont get too many people out there with great customer service. She helped me get set up to get my new package and return the other one. She printed my labels, and even helped me set up my ups app. The rest of the staff there were polite and courteous. read more

Initially came in for notary service, and because of a mistake / lack of communication on the part of the notary, the document I needed notarized was not accepted. Spoke with a manager about said mistake, was promised the issue would be rectified free of charge. Returned to have the paperwork redone and was met with resistance and attitude by the worker who needed to fix the mistake and re do the paperwork. Dropped off a return for amazon that was supposed to be FREE no box needed. I even had it in the original box and I was charged 2.00 to tape it and even though I said it was supposed to be free I didn't even need to bring the box they just said it was how the label printed and said I needed to tape it. So we brought in a box to ship and some extra stuff we didn't have a box at home for so we were just going to get a box at the store. They take our box no issues and tape it. Then we ask for a box for the extra stuff, we were willing to pay for the box no problem but then I ask what is this 25 dollar packing fee and they said that's to pack the stuff into the box that we bought the box from them. I said oh no I just want the box, and they said okay but you have to leave the UPS store to pick it and then bring it back in. Kind of annoying but okay? Then I ask, you can take the box when I come back in right. They said no... so even tho they taped my box they wouldn't tape the box I was going to buy from them so they could force me into the 25 packing fee... granted 25 dollars is not a lot but the craziness of that they just taped a box I brought bought apparently they can't tape the one I would of bought from them... I payed the 25 dollars but left a sour taste. Also the fact I had to ask three times if that was the cheapest delivery method. Seems they keep telling you one of the higher delivery methods to see if you give into it. Rather than giving you options to begin with, they don't say here is option A and B. No they only make it seem like 1 option unless you ask. Last thing I'll say is, I get why this place is rather 2 and a half stars. Go to another UPS shop, save your time and patience. read more

I just had the WORSE experience ever at this location. I have never experienced such a poor attitude from anyone in my life prior to this day. I walked in asking to do the same thing I had done TWO DAYS prior and I was told it was something "they don't do". As soon as I started asking the questions the girl got extremely upset with me and refused to be of any helpful. She started cussing at me and using an attitude. It wasn't until I told her it was unacceptable to talk to another person like that when the manager came in and was still unhelpful. Her attitude wasn't much better, but she at least knew how to talk to another human being. Highly recommend taking your business to the FedEx directly across the street where they are always helpful, always smiling, and never attack their customers. read more

Shout out to marilyn who saw the huge package we had to send and sold us bubble wrap that wasnt a whole roll. It was a perforated roll and kept falling apart. She failed to let us know this. This is the worst UPS Store I've ever been in and I'm in them all over the country. The attitude of all 3 ladies was bad. Told a guy who they just sold a box and bubble wrap to, that he had to go outside to pack it. Really, in the Nevada heat. Told me when I asked 3 times what the eta of my package would be and all three times said about a week. There is always an eta date not a guess of about a week.
