It is 9:20 on a Friday, and this location is not open. The doors are locked and looks to be no one inside. There have been 6 different people including myself trying to get inside to deal with packages. If the hours are inaccurate, then please update the store hours to not be misleading to the public. read more

I went to this location to drop off a prepaid package. I walked in to see one person browsing and two employees behind the counter. As I walked to the counter, both employees looked at me without saying a word so I initiated the conversation by saying hello. The woman at the cash register responded with "hi". I proceeded to tell her I was dropping off a prepaid package. She had some difficulty scanning the package, but finally was able to get it scanned and printed the receipt. She handed me my receipt and proceeded to gather the package. I said "thank you". She responded by saying "yeah", and walked away. Clearly, I was not given an ounce of customer service. I did not feel wanted at this location and definitely won't be returning to UPS in this area. I will stick to my usual location or switch to different carrier. read more

I have been to this location 3 times over the last 2 weeks and each time there is some reason why my packages cannot be shipped. I have a hard time believing that UPS cannot reprint a UPS label... beyond that I have been met with unbelievably rude customer service instead of finding a solution together. I needed a Notary and found that The UPS store has this service. I followed the website directions of making an appointment online. After arriving I had to wait in line 10 minutes as there was only one worker at the location. Imagine my disappointment when she says that the Notary was supposed to open the store with her, but hasn't arrived yet. She asked that I wait another 5-10 minutes. Instead I waited an additional 20 mins, because the documents are important. The Notary was still a no-show. During my wait time I called other UPS stores to find out if their Notary was in. Every single location in my area had a problem. In the end, I had to find a company 40 minutes across town to get my documents completed. Kudos to the professional front desk person. She handled the long line of customers with grace. read more

The store manager came out and scanned my items (since a long line was forming), gave me the label and then refused to ship them. When I asked what was going on, he stated the items were not packed completely. He then told me to leave and ship the packages myself at any other UPS store (which you can't do because each label is tied to the specific store). In short the manager was a total ASS in not providing ANY customer assistance other than race customers out of the line. I DEFINITELY will NOT put up with his silliness any further! He wasted my time, gas on multiple occasions as i had to have Amazon void the labels and give me new labels to ship from another UPS store. Save your time, gas and money and go somewhere else as this owner needs to lose his Franchise! read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. All employees are miserable. They act as if you are an annoyance. On top of this, you can never rely on them being open. Had to get something in the mail on Saturday and knew they closed at 5pm. Arrived at 4:55pm and the doors were locked. The guy inside refused to look up when I knocked. I am done with this location. I tried repeatedly to get a mailbox set up here, but the manager ( who has to be there for that to happen), is never there, doesn't respond to my requests to call me back, and ignores "appointments" which I booked to start the process. I truly don't think I have experienced such a horrible, grumpy, mean, rude, and disrespectful person in my life. This worker yelled at a cute grandma for not knowing how to use her iPhone followed by "maybe stick to a flip phone if you can't use your own phone". I think he should maybe pick a different job. Beyond rude, so disheartening, AND he couldn't have been much worse at the job he was so arrogant about. Will never be going here again. My go to for business shipping. Not always the quickest, but, always professional and courteous.

We rarely use eBay but on this occasion needed to ship fragile items to Florida. The office was great. The recipient wanted the tracking number. Eighteen digits seemed a little excessive but there is probably some hidden codes. The problem: the number is unreadable. We sent him a photo and three interpretations of various characters. Were they T or 1? Were they z or 2? Impossible to tell. Possibly Cyrillic alphabet. Later we found the receipt with normal printing, not the office fault, they were fine it is on the company. read more

I had a good experience at this store. I came in after having waited in a long line to mail a package at the post office and abandoning that to avoid getting coronavirus. Brandon was very nice and asked me the right questions to figure out how to send my package at a reasonable price. I had thought I would end up paying through the nose but it wasn't as bad as I thought because he realized I didn't need the package to be delivered right away and because he saw that I had brought my own mailer. I needed something notarized and overnighted quickly. I was pretty frantic and Sean was quick and accommodating with both notarizing my papers and then helping me find the best shipping option. I cannot tell you what it meant to be so reassured that my documents would make it to where they needed to go by the deadline. I came to this UPS location around 11:58 PM the store was supposed to open at 12 PM but the worker showed up at 12 PM to open the store. I didn't realize UPS doesn't make their employees come in a couple minutes earlier to have the store open at the time of operation but comes right on the dot when the store is suppose to be opens and ready to go!! He took his time, while huffing and puffing, to get the store ready including putting the card displays out on the floor and pushing the gates back. He then took the first customer, I was second in line. I waited my turn got up to the counter I asked him "where do I put the sticker" he rudely points to my box, I put my sticker on and I asked, "could you also tape up my box, it is medical equipment and it needs to be secured, please"!! He then turned around and threw my package in the bin and tried to take the next customer. I asked again, "could you please tape that up for me before I leave, I need to make sure it's securely taped, it's medical equipment". He responses extremely inappropriately and said, "NO, later or you wait" and pointed to the line. I stood there patiently and waited for five minutes as he took the person behind me. He then proceeds to tape up her box!!!! I then said, "why can you not tape my box up but you can tape her box up"?? He then aggressively takes the tape machine and rips a small piece of tape and puts it on my box. I said, "could you please tape it better? Again, I need it to be very secure, it is medical equipment"!!! He said, "NO, do it yourself"!!!!!!!! I'm sorry excuse me?? I couldn't believe he just spoke to a customer like that, but I just said "okay" and I grabbed the tape machine because I thought he meant with the tape machine since it was sitting right there. He then aggressively rips the tape machine out of my hand (cutting my finger) and said, "NO, you're not using mine, you will need to buy some"......By that time I already had the piece of tape ripped off. I secured my box and said I will be calling corporate. I could NOT believe that someone, let alone a grown male adult, would treat someone like this. Another customer went in while I was sitting on hold with corporate and I asked if he got his box taped and he said yea with no problem.... I AM NOT sure what made him treat ME and clearly only ME this way. But that behavior is extremely unprofessional, inappropriate, and he needs to be held responsible for his poor customer service. I could have called the police and file an assault for what he did to me. This is UNACCEPTABLE behavior of an employee of UPS OR ANY EMPLOYEE!!!! Unbelievable !! read more

I went to the this ups to return an Amazon package something that I have done before, I went to this ups because the hours they open was content. As soon as I walked in the clerk was very rude and refused to scan my phone and said I had to print out my order also purchase a box, I did very thing he asked when I asked for help and saw that other people was being service with the same Scanning of the bar code I had I asked and he responded by saying I had to leave and he also called security and police which was pointless(even they said so). I won an antique clock at an auction nearby, and this UPS store was recommended to me by the auction house for shipping to California. I made arrangements over the phone, and they did all the rest, including going to the auction house and picking the clock up. They did a terrific job of packing (the clock has 4 beveled glass panels), and it arrived safe and sound. My only cavil (and the reason for 3 stars instead of 4) would be that the gentleman I spoke with on the phone was not the one who would be involved with the packing and invoicing, and that second person never called me back, as I'd requested, to provide an estimate and to allow me to talk about my packing preferences for this particular type of clock. The shipping costs turned out to be quite reasonable, and as I said, the clock arrived undamaged. read more

I have not had much interaction with the owner so I cannot speak to the negative experiences that other reviewers have cited. This store is my preferred store when in the Towson area, as it is convenient to most of the grocery stores that I frequent, and there is plenty of parking. read more

Wow-- Absolutely appalled by the experience I just endured at this location. I have been frequenting this particular store for about a month now and today will be the last visit I make. I was told by the manager, Crystal, that my packages will no longer be accepted because they "smell like cat piss." After trying to defend my case and seek clarity in this situation, I was rudely spoken to and dismissed, all in front of other customers. I do not own cats, these boxes are never in the presence of animals, and I certainly would not be transporting them in my car if they smelled offensively. I got in touch with the owner, Peter, who basically defended his employee saying she has the right to reject/accept packages as she deems fit. I will be contacting corporate about this matter. This store is a franchise and is not owned by UPS. Rude employees charge for UPS My Choice Pick-Ups, contrary to UPS shipping terms. I pointed out that I had used this location many times without being charged a mystery ransom/fee for my packages, and the clerk assured me that he is good with faces and had never seen me before; he's pretty sure he would remember. I asked for an explanation of the charge and was told this is their standard charge for having packages shipped to them. I pointed out that the store is a UPS My Choice pick-up location and that since I pay for that service no fee should be charged; the package was not shipped to them, it was rerouted to them for pick-up. I even showed him the email on my phone indicating the package was a My Choice package, to no avail. Give us ten bucks, or you don't get your package. I notified the UPS shipping department and they said that if this activity recurs they may remove this location from their list of access points. I also notified the store owner via email, and I remarked at the rudeness of the employees. He responded via phone and left a short message that helped me to see why the employees believe it is appropriate to treat customers so poorly. Although I was given a refund, no one ever apologized to me -- in fact, when I went to the store for my credit card to be run I was mocked by the clerk. "Oh yeah, I saw your email," he said. I responded "Yes, I'm surprised you're still working here." "Yes," he said, "I'm a model employee." That says it all. read more

This is the worse mailbox service ever. If you have a few packages per week, they will charge you more. I once received 3 regular box of size 20 in x 14 in x 5 in, weighting 7.5 lb each. They asked me to pay $30 "over-sized" surcharge. Are you kidding me?? Less than 40 linear inches is "over sized"??? Worst mailbox experience ever. read more

When shipping multiple packages, be absolutely sure that you walk out of the store with a tracking number for each and every package. They refused to do so and I had a problem. If I had to do it over again, I would have gone to the actual UPS warehouse in Sparks where I would have walked out of there with a tracking number for each and every package. Their manners when confronted with a problem are poor. They are hostile. What was suspicious is that they tried to get me to use their own delivery service (with which they make more money) than UPS. I actually had to argue with them to use UPS. Maybe that's why they were so surly with me. I have used other UPS stores and had good experiences. This one I would avoid simply because they would rather say no to a reasonable request and kick you out of the store than try to do the right thing. Going forward, I will only take packages directly to the UPS warehouse and will bypass using the UPS store which is not owned by UPS and does not have the same tracking system as UPS does.
