Twice this week, this business has been very helpful with their services. A western union transfer, and today, a notary item. Always professional, polite and personable. They may be a bit higher in cost, but their customer service from multiple employees was worth it. Both times, I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. Jose at the UPS in marina is wonderful! He helped us ship our three large packages out and did a wonderful job.

One stop shopping at it's finest. Anthony helped me with the computer and printing of the documents I needed to have notorized. Joe, the owner is a legal notary so that part was covered by him. Anthony and Chelsea were gracious enough to witnesses the documents. (That part is strictly up to their discretion). Anthony made copies of all needed documentation. I was able to purchase the legal size envelope there and mail it certified mail right from the store. They made a stressful situation painless and had it done in under an hour. The workers at the counter don't seem to like their job very much. And Joe is just as clueless. How long has he worked there again? He is not helpful, didn't return phone calls, and seems snippy and controlling. Overall this store has a very bad reputation and I should have read all these reviews before I went there. I experienced unprofessional service at this UPS store today. He was intermittently watching the football game while customers were in line. His affect was flat and his behavior was rude. His answers were short and curt and he was not helping people in the order that they stood in line. Every question that was asked of him his answer was given in a defensive tone. People like this should not work in the service industry. He seemed like he had a chip on his shoulder. I will not be using this store in the future. read more

I would give them 0 stars if it were possible. Horrible, horrible service. The employees are rude and unfriendly. This is the second time I visited the store, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, because the first time the employees were horrendous as well. I will NEVER visit this store again. Surprised by the negative reviews. I have been using this UPS store to ship packages, get photos taken for licensing, make copies, etc. for the 7 years I have lived in Marina. I have never had a bad experience. Staff have always shown a pleasantly accepting attitude for my stupid questions, inexpertly wrapped packages and petty concerns, even when waiting on multiple people. read more

When we were there, there was a dispute regarding a charge from their computer services with another customer... That was not the problem.. The problem was that the employee behind the desk complained to the next customer in line. Not good customer service. read more

The male who answered the phone stated that he didn't want to go through the trouble of telling me the schedule for notary. This I found quite surprising and was the first time that an employee flat out said they didn't want to do something for a customer! After a few more questions as to how I would find out what days I "should" come in he finally started to blurt out the schedule, which wasn't complex at all, "MWF 9-...." How are people supposed to know what days to come in if you don't state what days the notary is available for service? read more

Love this UPS store, the staff are efficient and friendly! I had to get a mailbox here due to sketchy mail service at my apartment- it's a little pricey but i always enjoy coming in and talking with Joe the manager! He's great and prompt w/ service! I always get great service here. I return my rented law books every semester here, and not once have I had a problem.

I brought in two packages for shipping with prepaid return labels from Amazon and the guy at the counter was mumbling under his breath, he took the packages in back and huffed "gonna have to pay someone to return these, operating at a 20% profit margin..." Um, not my fault. I don't need to know about your margins, vent to Amazon, your friends or your CPA, don't take it out on me. I had another item that I paid for shipping and then decided to take my last package to the post office because I felt $22 was too high and I knew I could stuff it into a flat rate box. As I was leaving he again muttered with an attitude "gonna be eighteen dollars parcel post." If you have insightful information speak up, if you want to talk back just wait until I get out the door, I don't need to hear it. By the way, it was only $12 to send my package at the post ffice. I am giving three stars because I have been here two other times to ship things that needed special wrapping and they helped me do that and were nice. Maybe just having an off day? read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I had an anniversary cd that I needed shipped to a friend in the area. I sent it to the ups store but they would not accept it. FedEx will. Ups is terrible. They are also self insured and when they break your stuff will never reimburse you. read more

The owner was not friendly or helpful. He denied delivery of a very important package from another UPS via FedEx . He signed acceptance and then returned it. Very arrogant and disrespectful. Go somewhere else!! read more

Service is terrible. Owner made mistake and refused to send tracking to locate package on item he type in wrong address, and blames customer for not proofing his work! Owner refused to send tracer to UPS. I had to resend 10 days later through USPS, important letter. I requested postage money back. Owner refused. Said he doesn't understand addresses. huh? If you need friendly, reliable, honest, UPS service, go anywhere but here. I've been here to ship numerous packages and envelopes - so they lost a good customer. I'll go out of my way to any UPS or Fed Ex or USPS, but never here again. read more

I absolutely LOVE the UPS store in Marina. For a busy store, Joe sure does get a lot done for his customers. It's very easy for a customer to share a bad experience they may have had, and it's even easier for that customer to not share the entire story. I have been coming to this store for years and have always been treated in a professional manner. There are times when the store was pretty busy, but my presence was still acknowledged and I was told that they would be with me in a moment. If there are exceptions that other UPS stores are making, that the Marina location isn't, i'd be concerned if I were you. There are reasons companys refuse service. Thank you to Joe and your staff for all that you do for your customers...both loyal and unappreciative. You guys rock! read more

They're good for getting stuff printed, but not so much if you want it bound too. They can do a comb binding but that's about it. The type I wanted wasn't available even though it was an option on their website when I ordered. They ended up just stapling the edge even though I paid extra. It was only a couple dollars though so no biggie. read more
