Unfortunately I have to leave my review here because I can't find a way to leave my review for just UPS!!! I am so dissatisfied with UPS!!! I had a package being delivered that required an adult signature. They tried three times delivering the package during normal working hours again I'll say it "NORMAL WORKING HOURS!" The first time I found the notice wadded up and thrown on my front door step! The third notice I had a letter delivered in the morning that I was home for so why wasn't my packages delivered at the same time? Now that I missed it three times it's going to be sent back to the sender! I called first thing the next morning and that took me three hours to talk to someone only to find out that they scanned my package at 5am to send it back! Why couldn't they send out my package at 5am for delivery? They are more efficient at sending packages back than they are delivering them! I am only giving them 1 star because I can't give them negative stars!!!! read more

Let's start off with they are taking you for your money, not only have I reached out to them for one package but 2 and they quoted $40 more than everyone else in our area. The men question what you are sending off an the value of your package an base your pricing off that. BEWARE!!! So i paid to have an item shipped at this store. I boxed the item myself, and the lady asked if I wanted extra insurance for this item. So the value of this item was more than the standard insurance that it came with, so I paid up to the $1000.00 insurance, which would cover the cost of the item if lost or broken.. I wanted to feel at ease. But when the item gor to the buyer , it cracked a part of this item, I informed the buyer to send it back as I bought insurance for this item. So I go back to the store, show the lady the receipt, and she tells me insurance doesn't cover this. I asked why? She claims that insurance only covers what they package? So you had no problem offering and selling the insurance to me, but did not want to tell me the " fine print, so to speak" so I asked for the manager at the time. I asked for clarification, basically she told me the same thing, my problem was that why would you sell something to me as the " customer " and not explain what/when/ how the insurance works, your business has no problem taking my money, but don't want to give it back when things are paid for! I said that there was a corporate account and was told that I was wrong. I had to call ups corporate for assistance after I was charged and told by the assistant that there wasn't a corporate account here. She didn't even look!!! No apology after I called corporate line although it was fixed. I will drive to another city's ups store before I come back here. Long story short....Bad attitude and charged me even after I stated that there was a corporate account ( although after I complained and called ups corporate for clarification, I was given a refund). I will not go back. I should not have to call corporate for decent service and respect. read more

This store is consistent with bad customer service. Today I was up charged for an email to do a return to Amazon because the clerk had to email the scan to himself and print because his scanner didn't work. When I asked him why I was being charged he had a major attitude and went off. After I recommended he take a Customer Service course he turned around and called me a "Creep". Really? I just went in for some papers being notarized and the lady behind the register said "she won't be here for 15 mins" so I stood there may be a second debating to leave or not and then she SNAPPED at me "GO STAND BY THE COUNTER AND WAIT THERE!" super harsh pointing to the table near the front window. Never send USPS mail through them. They up-charge significantly!!! Sent 2 letters certified that had just a few pages in each letter not weighing no more than an oz. When I go to the US Postal Office I never pay no more than $6-7 for two certified letters. At this UPS store I was charged $17.25 just to send two letters certified. An extra $5.25 per letter on top of the USPS standard fee. I asked why is it so expensive and they said it has always been that way and failed to tell me that the "up-charge" comes from their own "up-charge fees." I also asked was it because of the size of my envelope and he said yes. Very sneaky and manipulative. Not honest at all. I will never use their services again! read more

I returned my textbooks a few days before my due date through UPS. I got a receipt, but a few weeks later, the textbook company sends me an email saying I never returned my books and charged me a late fee. Apparently the books were never shipped. Long story short, I will never be sending anything through this UPS again. read more

Very rude employees. Went there for notary services. The one lady who was helping was staring to begin my paperwork, she was not the notary. She then referred my paperwork to the other lady who was. She took one look at it and rudely said, " I don't do I-9's". The other lady looked at me and slowly handed me back my paperwork. With no explanation or another word. I asked the notary, why not?. She said, "a notary has the right to refuse." I'm like huh? Ok. That woman was rude AF. What happened to good customer service. Nowadays that's un heard of. There are other ups stores and fedexs closer to my shop but I've found this store to have the friendliest employee's and the best customer service. If this is the ups location in the rite aid shopping center.... I choose to take my business anywhere but there! Not all the people are awful just one woman who wouldn't let me have package because I wasn't my husband, even tho I had my ID showing my name and his last name. My husband went to pick up the package and didn't have to show ID at all! Then I have given another chance at Christmas I asked for a stamp paid for it & it looked like this same woman that I kept getting putting in the trash with no stamp and said ok you're done. The staff at this UPS store are absolutely awesome. Recently I was in a rush to get a fairly large size copy project done. One of the staff, Vaney, provided the best customer service I have ever had anywhere. She stepped in to help me with my project, made sure I knew about the discount for UPS customers, helped me pack everything and me take my project to joy car. Because of Vaney I got my project done in record time! And every time I go by this business Vaney always greets me by name. I highly recommend this business to anyone. read more

I will never send anything UPS to or from the town of Merced. Since moving here last year I have had nothing but trouble with these oafs. Several packages have allegedly been delivered, which has resulted in filing claims, trying to contact customer service of all companies involved and in general a massive headache. Other packages have never been delivered but instead been returned to sender. In a word this company is unreliable, and if your company utilizes their services I would reconsider. I understand that it is a business, but when you make a big deal out of charging me an additional $0.39 on a $40 purchase because your employees cannot figure out your own equipment, you don't understand how to retain customers and have a terrible service model. The whole staff has always kindly greeted me when I walk in and service is usually prompt, except on occasion when they are extremely busy, which is fine with me, (glad to see small business surviving in this economy) I'll always return for services, I'm too busy to run around hunting for the best deal, I don't mind paying a small amount more for convenience and good service. read more

Hello world! Let me tell you how Spectacular the staff at the G St UPS Store is! I went in, 20 minutes before closing. I had a FAX to send. I thought we'd have lots of time. But on this day, the FAX was slow. Well, closing time came and went, but Christina stayed for me. We were there at least 25 minutes after closing. She was sweet, patient, helpful and gracious. I was sent an email TWO DAYS IN A ROW stating that my packages would be arriving and for TWO DAYS IN A ROW, I waited and checked the door repeatedly. NOW, I have to pick it up because of the lazy incompetence of the delivery driver who cannot fathom how a gate door might open. The website was of no use as I tried to change my delivery options, to no avail. I am livid and given the choice, I would use FedEx or USPS or a donkey instead; I surely would be greeted with the packages that I PAID TO BE DELIVERED had that been the case. Thank you UPS for making me a liar when I told my son that his paints were "coming today", "coming tomorrow", "coming today", and finally, "I will get a ride to get them for you tomorrow". I strongly suggest that UPS allow for options on your profile to leave a gate code or "call (800) MYY-PCKG" because I am tired of doing your job for you and I would hate to have to contact the BBB. read more

Poor customer service - 5+ occasions where they placed anothers' mail in my box - lost my mail twice (to my knowledge): my rebate (expired) and my billings turned up 6 months later - if you still decide to go with this mailbox, be sure to keep your receipt (or use credit/debit): I paid for the whole year (in cash), and they had no record of it. read more

I sale alot online and normally do usps, but figured since it was closer id stop here.knowing what the prices already are at usps(Due to looking it up on line) The sales person tried telling me to send a Very light wieght horse blanket (Less then 4 Lbs) would cost me $54 and usps he said would cost my $59 due to the shape. then for the box with a soft saddle (Made of foam) he tried telling me it weighed 20Lbs & would cost me $105 and they said usps would charge my the cheapest of $134 ~He said this is the cheapest in town for ground.i told him he was nuts and quoted what usps stated on the web...So knowing they were lying... I took my packages to usps and the horse blanket cost me with tracking 10.69 and the BIG box with the soft saddle it actually weighed 8 Lbs 7 oz (Where did he get the 20LBS???) must of been when he was pushing the package down while measuring it on the scale!!) Hummmm... and that cost me sending it with tracking $15.27 .. the ups sales clerk was arguing with me saying usps dont provide tracking on packages anymore....Its disgusting how they are gouging prices and lying to people when times are hard enough...
