This place is normally very convenient. I love that I can drop off both fedex and ups things. But you lose all convenience when you close whenever you want. This is now the third time I've gone in during hours when both Maps and your website say you are open and the lady at the counter says "oh we're closed". I would understand if there was a random emergency where you needed to close early. But three times now? All on different days? Twice during the week and once on a Saturday. I sell a lot on eBay and Poshmark so I'm in here like twice a week. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Usually I am in and out in under 2 minutes, though occasionally there is a wait if you come in the morning when only 1 staff person is working. I pre-print all my labels so I can't speak to their pricing. They do accept packages from all the major shipping companies (USPS, UPS, FedEx), so it is convenient for drop offs when you are shipping multiple packages via different carriers. read more

Seriously have the slowest staff working here. As a staff you must have good customer service but it doesn't mean you have to keep a long conversation with customers, and the customer in the front is rude for keeping others waiting in line with their yapping stories. I normally go to usps to drop off packages etc it just happens that I decided to stop by postal connection in the area. Waiting 35 minutes in line just to drop off some packages, and there's always one person working. next day i check the tracking, guesse what! Postal connection didn't even scan my package! Usps did not receive anything. Postal connection has this issue of NOT scanning packages or their delivery guys are purposely not scanning packages! This will result in Lost packages! Not good! Never returning to postal connection. read more

Why does this place bother existing? On a December afternoon, holiday rush, they have ONE person behind the counter. I finally get to the counter and they DON'T HAVE A PAY TERMINAL!?! Ended up needing to withdraw cash and wait in line twice so I could pay for my ONE international letter. Save yourself a headache, go to the post office or Walgreens for FedEx pickup/dropoff. There are enough actual carriers in Merced to bother with this incompetent middle man. read more

I didn't realize the hours were adjusted due to COVID-19 and I showed up to a locked door just after 5pm. Brianna greeted me and explained they were closed, however she let me in and quickly processed my overnight mail. I'm very appreciative that Brianna made the exception to let me in! I hate to write negative reviews, but it seems like I always have the worst luck in customer service. Postal connection is definitely more expensive than the post office itself, but i find it more convenient, it my go to place. I never had any issues with postal connection until recently, I had some packages that were dropped off. A week later my customer sends me a message about not receiving her package. It shouldn't have taken her A Week! To receive it. Unfortunately I wasnt able to track the package at all! Made several trips back and forth between postal connection & USPS trying to locate the package but was told by usps that they never received the package & to make a missing package claim & then Was told by postal connection that they have a *NEW guy who does not Scan packages* If that's the case & postal connection couldn't put the *NEW guy in check then theres no point of coming back. Now it made my business look bad just because the *NEW guy don't scan packages* it took almost 2 weeks for my customer to receive her package, and she was located in California. read more

I have a small business and come in often with pre-labeled packages. It is easy to get them scanned and on their way. There is only one employee there at a time generally, but they always greet you and thank you for waiting. Never a really long wait though. So much better than the post office when it is really busy! read more

I seldom have to ship anything anywhere but when I do I make the effort to go to Postal Connections because of their warm and very personal customer service. In the past I have boxed and shipped from them as well as used their notary service. What I have come away with is knowing that I received a good service and that they really do seem to care about their customers. read more

Didn't care for this location. I was greeted at the door by a husky younger girl there. Not sure why she mocked the way I said hi. Unless that just how people in the Central Valley respond. The older lady working here really pissed me off. She was extremely rude, she didn't even know what she was doing but was acting like she knew it all. Yes, I know about the postal business because my mom works at an independent postal/shipping store down SoCal. I wanted to ship a small tube of eyeliner using one of those yellow 39 cent envelopes since I have my own stamps. However, this lady kept insisting I use the more expensive parcel and pay shipping and the small tube of eyeliner was too BIG to fit in a yellow envelope. What the hell. I've had someone ship me treasure rocks through a yellow envelope with stamps. After a stressful, tense debate, I let her use the larger parcel. The worst part is she just took the envelope out of my hands. Even the eyeliner then packed it. OUT OF MY HANDS. Rude woman, no sense of manners. I don't even know how she hasn't gotten any complaints. Oh yeah, she also took my credit card from the counter and just charged me... Didn't even ask if I was ready. read more

Talk about convenience, this place is amazing! Their extended hours are great for working professionals busy during the 9-5 workday. The extended hours allow you to print, ship, and mail after work. I send items via USPS there and I don't have to wait in a long line like I would normally at the post office. I also use their services to mail documents via FedEx for my work. I never have to wait in line and the staff there are super friendly and helpful. Lastly, the location is great. They are located in one of Merced's best shopping centers. I took a FedEx return to the FedEx World Center on Grogan Ave. They couldn't print out a FedEx label. Are you kidding me? They said I'd have to drive to Turlock. I called Postal Connections. They said come there. 5 minutes in and out. Not a single problem. Item arrived within 24hrs. This place is fantastic. FedEx. UPS. Mail. Boxes. Whatever you need to ship or mail anything. Opens at 8am. No waiting in line. More than helpful. read more
