I'm not sure if this store has changed hrs but it's always closed when I go. When it is open, the manager spends a lot of time talking and talking and talking. Meanwhile the line is going out the door. The manager or owner (not sure) has hired some great people who sadly never stay. She blames them but she seems to be difficult to work with and makes it an unpleasant place to work. The last time I returned something the box it came in wasn't needed and she made me take it back and shoved it at me. I'd give this place a 0 star if I could. They are always closed early and often aren't open during posted hrs! Today I came by 5 mins till close just to do an Amazon return. The gates were already pulled and everything was locked up. I asked if they would be open on Sunday (tomorrow) bc out side it says Sunday hrs 10-3 but I have never seen them open. A few of the employees are quick and polite but management here is horrible. If you're going to close 15 mins before you close please change your hrs. read more

This is the absolute worst business in Pagosa. The owner Stephanie is extremely rude and obnoxious and the service is extremely poor. We own 2 businesses and have to use UPS a lot and I cringe everytime I have to go in that store and hope there is an employee there and not the owner. Eh. The new owner started out great but unfortunately has started going downhill. You had a separate area to pickup packages which is the only reason we paid for a box. Not so much anymore. If I wanted to wait in line for 20 minutes behind 4 people shipping packages I could go to the local Post Office. Sadly understaffed which wasn't the case 4 months ago so the few overworked people that are there now are losing their friendliness. Even if you pay UPS or Fedex to send your package overnight or second day air you won't be getting it until they get around to processing it after delivery. An additional 1-2 days. read more

The UPS Store is a great local business. Convenient location with ample parking. There is an amazing staff working there. Super shout out to Adam, Kerry R, Adrian S, Raw M, Sable B, Michelle W, Danny A, Luz C and to anyone I missed. They have made this new Pagosa Springs resident feel very welcomed. They set up a mailbox for us. In addition, they send out our packages, accept Amazon return scans & keep my incoming packages safe. After having one of my shipments sent to the wrong location, been lectured about not standing behind the plexiglass and just general almost rude behavior on the part of the owners and people who work here, I have had enough! I would rather drive all the way to town to the post office to deal with them rather than being lectured about being too far outside of the plexiglass before I even have a chance to ask them to ship a box. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but this business. read more

The owner, employees have gone out of their way to help us. I am severely immune compromised and hate the whole covid thing, but if I want to live I have to be ridiculously careful. Stephanie has twice come to my car to fill out notarized forms. James, new employee, will carry out boxes with a ready smile. Kayless is always pleasant and helpful. Please don't let the negative reviews influence you, just go check out things yourself. These folks are working their tails off and are exposed to all matter of rudeness and covid careless people. UNHELPFUL, UNHAPPY, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS... everyone who walks out of there is shaking their heads.... if there was ANYPLACE else within 60 miles to use United Parcel Service I guarantee we would all go there. Went in to do a simple Amazon return and unfortunately had employee "Michael" wait on me. This guy must have a superiority complex because he was not only rude, condescending, and obnoxious, he came across as racist, prejudice, homophobic, and confused of his responsibilities; or maybe His customer service style is based on ethnic profiling! When we purchased a home in Pagosa Springs it never occurred to us that we wouldn't have a mailbox. After several horrible trips to the local post office we knew that wasn't going to be a good option for receiving our mail so we decided to purchase a box at the UPS store. It's a little expensive but WORTH EVERY PENNY! The staff there are like family and greet us by name every time we go in to collect our mail. They are so friendly and will even keep an eye out for special packages or give us a call when something important comes in and we always get an email when we have a package. You just don't get this kind of service anywhere else. Even when we do finally get a mailbox (which will be next year on Pagosa time) we plan to keep our box at the UPS store. They have earned a loyal customer for life. read more

UPS is promoting shipping to "access" points as a way to avoid porch pirates and their top candidate for access points are their franchise operator, The UPS Store. Just one problem, no one mentions that you will charged unknown extra fees at The UPS Store, made up willy-nilly by each store. UPS has no mention whatsoever of extra fees on their shipping rates or website. This UPS Store location in Pagosa Springs has not a word about this on their website. When I arrived I was told it would cost $5-10 extra depending on the size of the package. Who decides which packages are charged $5 and which are $10? Your guess is as good as mine. Some franchises charge this per day (I called other UPS Stores in Colorado) Certainly, they have the right to charge any fees that they want. They just don't have the right to charge them without prior notice. Nevertheless, my package was hostage. I had to pay the ransom-fee in order to get it. Hidden fees are sometimes illegal. At a minimum, they are dishonest and deceptive. Don't patronize this location, refuse to pay it or tell the smarmy owners that they better get clear about their fees. read more

I went into The UPS Store #5807, and Michael kicked me out of the store because my facemask was not appropriate to him. He made derogatory comments as I was leaving. He did not ask if I had a medical reason for my mask, just said "Nice Try" and told me to get out of his store. When I returned with a different face mask, I just went in to get his name so I could file this complaint, he again, made very derogatory statements towards me. He is extremely rude and condescending and needs to be removed as owner. read more

I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. The young lady and gentleman that assisted me were pleasant and very helpful. I realize this was only 1 visit on a random day, but my experience was so good I left with a smile on my face! read more

This particular UPS store stands out above all others I have patronized. Cleanliness, organization, problem solving, enthusiastic staff all contribute to a very positive experience.
