This is the terminal that John said he worked out of, so this is the location I am reviewing. John was picking up at the CVS on 19th Ave & Indian School yesterday afternoon. When I walked in to the shop, the CVS employee told me I just missed him by a few mins. I remembered seeing a UPS truck when I pulled into the CVS driveway, so I quickly exited the store to see if I could catch him. John was about ready to pull away but I yelled loudly and obnoxiously as I'm walking towards him (because let's face it, some of us are not really built to run fast). He waited and was able to take my package for me. He said he tracking might not show up right away because he had scanned all the packages that CVS had for him, so he'd have to scan it at the next pick up stop. I was fine with that. As long as he got it in his truck for that day's pick up, I was good. He was patient with me and waited, again, despite my obnoxious yelling in the parking lot. John deserves a raise. read more

First citing heather then citing the wrong address/apartment number. Now unless amazon printed the wrong address, these are both bad reasons. Really bad customer service, first issue they inform my address wasn't correct which it was and when I call customer service they inform address was good and my package could be pick that same day that had to wait for a call to pick which I never receive call again and then they inform the office was closed but I should get a call the following day and my package will be deliver on the day they call me by 1pm. I receive an email and it inform I was going to pick up which they inform it was going to be deliver call 5 times and they keep telling me my package was going to be deliver others where you going to pick up your package and I need my package because it's from work and very import now I can eve finish my work and they don't even know where my package is. I was supposed to receive it on a Friday and i had received an alert that my package would be here that afternoon. When the UPS truck showed up he delivered another package that i was waiting for as well and asked him if he had a second one for me, he said that he would be back because the package was all the way in the back. Do not use UPS they do not care about customer service. Last Thursday we went to this location to ship a package for second day air. Tracking online shows our package sat at this location until Monday. Our package did not arrive in San Diego until yesterday Wednesday almost a full week. Our package contained perishable food holiday tamales which if not delivered in 4 days, they will spoil. These were a family recipe and they were being sent to family for New Year's Eve dinner. Thank you UPS for failing us and not delivering on your promise. We called to complain and no refund was given or any compensation for the spoiled food. We just kept getting shuffled around from rep to rep. I felt like they were hoping that you get frustrated and hang up. Terrible customer service and a sad excuse for a delivery company. This place is unbelievably unreliable. Ive been lied to for over a week. They stated I would be receiving my package everyday for as I said over a week. Mind you this package is a next day air one. I understand due to the Coronavirus that things would be slower, but there has been a truck in my complex plenty of times which I know my package was on there because I was tracking my delivery thru the my choice membership. This is my debit card. I haven't been able to feed my kids and been having to borrow money and my rent is late, when o have plenty of money of money on y account to handle my Responsibilities. They have even giving me a hard time trying to pick up my package at this location. First I was told I can, but since I was tracking my package thru ups my choice I thought it was coming 5/8/2020 after waiting since 4/30/2020 I decided I'll wait until the latest Delivery time which is 9 PM. Exactly around that time I get a email stating that I won't receive my package until 5/11/2020. Everyday between 4/30/20 I was told and tracking my package and everyday the app and customer service told me it's out for delivery. Still haven't received it and now I'm out of options stressed and feeling Manipulated by UPS as a whole shame on them. To be honest I there was a way to give negative stars I'd give the a -10. After I receive my package. I will never use UPS again and will tell any and everyone including the people on my blog about my story as well as proof of everything that was just said. Here's the status that I just got from UPS: "The package was left in a UPS facility. Delivery rescheduled." I looked it up and the package was coming from this location. That means that a delivery driver from this location either forgot to put my package on the truck or was too lazy to load it on the truck. I called UPS and they said they had no information about why it wouldn't be delivered but the earliest redelivery would be Monday. So I'm having a bed delivered today from a LTL carrier and my new mattress is sitting at UPS. I'm not about to dig my old mattress out of the dumpster so I guess I'll be sleeping on the floor all weekend. Thanks UPS!! read more

Called for pick-up at my home. Driver left a note on front door, but never rang the bell??? I 2ent to the nearest UPS Store, but they can't handle firearms. Did I mention that I stayed home from work today, just so I could be there for the pick-up? I drove 13 miles to the UPS Customer Center, but they told me my shipping label (provided by Remington) had not been activated. They could not help me get a message to driver to reschedule either. I have never had such a terrible experience. They outsource everything and the agents give inaccurate and conflicting information. I had a package that was attempted to be delivered a couple of times during hours that I wasn't opened. Got a notice that it was their final attempt. Called last Wednesday and spoke with someone who said they could deliver Friday... never got delivery on Friday so I called back on Saturday. Another agent looked at the call log and told me that they see where I called to schedule payment for Friday but that ups didn't guarantee it? What??? If they hadn't told me it would be delivered Friday I would have just picked it up the day before... then the agent said they could redeliver but it wouldn't be u til the following Wednesday??? Four days later??? She then said that if I didn't pick it up by Monday it would be shipped back to the sender... so I told them I would just pick it up on Monday during my lunch hour... we guess what... now it's Monday and I called to verify that the package is at the warehouse before I drove down there and this agent tells me I need to hear back from ups that the package is ready for pick up. I have never seen such incompetence! Of course no one at the 800 number has the local number and the number found on google just has a busy signal. Shame on you ups... you need to do better. I called 2 Times to make sure so of course I was told i could pick it up today. My package had already been delayed 4 days and it said it was just sitting in their facility so I drove 40min there. When I get there they tell me they have no idea where my package was, they don't know why someone would tell me I could pick it up. They didn't bother to look in the back all they said was that it hadn't been ticketed so it was sitting somewhere in the back or on one of the trucks waiting to be taken into their facility. UPS is terrible! Told by their customer service that I could pick up my package at 8am. I show up at 8am and of course they aren't open yet. They didn't open until 8:10 which shouldn't surprise me because they aren't a punctual service company anyways. Ordered insulin on 1.24.18. Never rec'd it. Checked with UPS and they said I had moved. I have been in the same place and UPS has been delivering to this address for at least 3 years. Said they couldn't find address. Can't understand that as this is a large apartment complex in Goodyear with a well signed address. Check with pharmacy and UPS and they both had correct address. Being a diabetic without insulin is very medical concern. When I talked to UPS at first, it was to a call center in a country in Asia. Hard to understand. Do not ever order a delivery from them on a Saturday. First off, they showed up at 7 am and the invoice said the time for delivery was 12p. Secondly, this location is closed on the weekends and their isn't a way to pick up your package till Monday. Bottom line, don't wast time and money buying ups air. This is by far the WORST experience I've ever intended!!! So unhappy and disappointed with this place!! First and foremost, my packages was suppose to be delivered 'today' then I get an email saying my packages were delayed because my packages never made it out for 'out for delivery' which I was live tracking. So I did a 'pick up' spoke to a customer representative and she said I was able to pick it up when I'm ready. So here I am picking up my packages and they told me I can't pick it up until '24 hours' AND HERE I AM ON THE PHONE with customer service once more, they said I'm able to PICK up today around 6-7pm. OKAY now I'm confused. It was 'READY FOR PICK UP' then I have to wait once again? UPS IS VERY GOOD AT GIVING ME THE ROUND ABOUTS RIGHT NOW! Not to mention my packages were 4 days ALREADY DELAYED! I want a lawyer. This UPS center has the most APPALLING customer service I have EVER experienced in my 29 years of living. Let me start from the beginning. I have had a specific medication mailed to me over the last year or so because it is cheaper than going through the local pharmacies. I have never had a problem. Until last Thursday. I ordered my medication on Monday. The company said it would definitely get to me by Friday. I have always had it delivered to my work (a school) and it usually gets there 2 or 3 days after I order it. I NEED it by Sunday. Thursday. No delivery. I'm not worried. Yet. Friday. Asking my co-workers all day "Any package for me?" Nope. I get out of work in the early evening, rush home, and call the pharmaceutical company. They said it shows that UPS should have delivered it Thursday and someone that works for UPS decided to have it redelivered for Monday. What??? They give me the tracking number and the customer service phone number for UPS. I call UPS and speak to a very nice man. He says that someone that works for UPS (either the shipping center or the driver- haven't figured it out yet) ASSUMED the school I work for was closed for spring break. They locked up the package. The person who made this decision is a first class idiot. Guess what bonehead? Every school district has a different spring break! And I work for a private preschool. We have NO spring break! They didn't even ATTEMPT to deliver the package or even call to see if we were open. Oh the story gets even better. The nice man I spoke to (not local- national customer service) agreed that this whole situation was f-d up, especially considering this was a medication that I needed. I told him there was no way I could pick it up during there Saturday hours. He said that although the local shipping center was officially closed (this was around 6:30pm Friday night) there are still some employees at the center and I might be able to drive down there (20 miles away) and pick it up afterhours. He said I would get a phone call from the local center within the hour. After anxiously watching my phone for 40 minutes I get a call from a unknown local number. I answer it immediately after the first ring. "Hello?" Click. They hung up on me as soon as I said hello!!! I call the number back immediately. No answer. I call again. No answer. I do reverse phone number look up just to be sure its them. Yep. It is. I call the national customer service again. Speak to a nice supervisor this time. Tell her the situation. She puts me on hold to look into it. Comes back on the line and said that the local office said they attempted to call me and had a bad connection. Ummmm... there was no bad connection. The call ended as soon as I said hello. She apologized and said there was nothing she could do about it. I said that was okay, I would rearrange my schedule and pick it up during their Saturday hours. She said I couldn't even pick it up then, because it was going to be locked up and delivered Monday. I went on a major rant. (while still being courteous to her of course- this wasn't her fault) I said I needed the medication by Sunday and this whole situation was terrible, immoral, and unprofessional. She agreed and decided to try calling the local office one more time. She put me on hold.... (this is when it gets REALLY good) She gets back on the line and tells me they (the local customer service center) hung up on her!!! Yes, the local UPS customer service center hung up on a national UPS customer service supervisor!! By this time I am laughing like a homicidal maniac. She was even shocked by the behavior of her own company. She apologized profusely and assured me she would put a complaint in. So the medication that was supposed to be delivered to me Thursday won't be until Monday. And I need it by Sunday. And here is another kicker. It has to be refrigerated. Now there are coldpacks in the box. After a 3 day delivery period the coldpacks are still slightly frozen and my medication is fine. But this is almost one week. Anyone who wants to message me with advice on how to handle this is more than welcome. I don't know where to even start. I feel that if the medication if ruined UPS needs to reimburse me. I am so angry. The laziness and incompetence of these employees are compromising my health. read more

This company really screwed up. I was supposed to receive a delivery on Christmas Eve which was a gift for my son. I knew I probably would not be around so I notified them on FB and arranged to pick it up at the store near me. I showed up there at 1pm and the clerk tells me it is not there but at another location on the other side of town. Since the traffic was bad and I was quite sick I asked the clerk to call and have someone drive it over to this location. He said he did not have their phone number and he would call a toll free number and handed the phone to me. After about 30 minutes and talking to 3 different clerks I finally got the right location. I explained it and was told not to worry that they would have it to my home within the hour. I waited over 2 hours and it never showed up. In fact, it never showed up at all that day. They tell me there is nothing that they can do and would deliver it on the 26th. So now my son has no Christmas gift. He came on the 26th and we waited all day and again no delivery. I call and am told it would definitely be the next day as it would be pulled from the trailer immediately. Same thing the next day. My son comes over and waits hours for his gift and no delivery again. Same scenario, I call and am told it will definitely be here on Fri. I tell them to deliver it before noon as that is when I will be here. Friday 1pm still no delivery. I again call and ask them to please get it to me NOW. They have nobody there who can bring it to me. IT IS STILL SITTING AT THE WRONG FACILITY. Nobody bothered to pull it from the trailer. They say it will be delivered next year after the New Years holiday. I tell them that will not work and they need to figure something out. I am told my choices are to wait again or to come there and get it. I am to sick to drive so they tell me to take a cab and they will pay for it. So that is what I did. Then when I tried to collect my cab fair they refused. I have notified all companies that I deal with to never send me anything using UPS again. read more

I work for Ontrac shipping customer service. i have a pkg coming to me via UPS. the last scan was 35 hours ago. i called their customer service to ask them to contact their facility to make sure they will still send this out for delivery today (maybe with a late driver) and what do you know.... they said 'sorry. we can't do that for you. we don't have facility phone numbers. it'll be delivered before 5pm'. juuuuust like the website tracking says, as if they are quoting it. i asked what if it's lost ? their answer was 'i don't show it's lost, i show delivery by 5pm'. Unbelieveable. We never do that. we ALWAYS call the facilites and track it down and get an answer for the customer as fast as we can. UPS offered no assistance. NONE. i'm not asking for an ETA. i am asking to make sure it will go out today and since there are zero scans for the last 35 hours - i want to make sure it's not lost somewhere. UPS sucks. You should always use ONTRAC ! We can ALWAYS CONTACT FACILITIES AND DRIVERS for the customer in any instance (other than an ETA if it's still within the commitment time). read more

I wish I could have left a 0 rating. Ordered a shipment of materials for a bathroom remodel to be delivered by these clowns in Phoenix. Checked their website on Wednesday 9/25 and it showed delivered. My son drove over on 9/27 and there was no delivery. Called to follow up and we were told we needed to schedule the delivery, mind you the web-site showed it was delivered. So the shipment sat in their terminal for three days, no calls from UPS, we had to call them. We set the delivery up for the 10/1. My son drove from Grand Canyon University, student, to Tempe, 50 miles round trip to be there during the scheduled delivery time 9am to 12 noon. He left to go back to school at 12:30pm, no delivery. We had two customer service reps call to confirm the time. Called the Terminal and we were told, oh , we deliver to businesses first and there is no way we can get there between 9am and noon. OK, then why did they set up the delivery if they knew they could not make it? I asked for compensation for my son's time and gas. Rhonda at UPS hung up. I called their national customer service, waste of time. I was told twice that within an hour a Manager would call me. Never happened. Try and a get a Regional Manager name and number, no way, that information is not available or they won't give it out. If you like poor service by all means use UPS, if you want good service use FedEx. This isn't over!! read more

I was tracking something I ordered that was shipped by UPS. It was to have been delivered on 1/27/18. Checked UPS tracking site it state that my house number was not found. Hmmm UPS has delivered to my address many many times. Same address since 2003. This development was built in 1973. I checked the shipper they have my correct address. I checked UPS official site and they have my correct address. HMMMM I called UPS customer service number and was told yes on 1/27/18 my package was not deliverable because number wrong. I explained all the above facts, the guy said I could pick it up. I aid to have it delivered. Package was delivered today 2/2/18. Also received today in the United States Postal Service a post card from UPS to the same address they had all along. Ummm UPS if you mailed your post card to the same address as one the package then how come I got the post card but had to pull teeth to get my package delivered to the same address as the post card. Sounds like the driver was to lazy to get out of the truck to physically find our address. OMG WTF fire the driver NOW. read more

Worst delivery service ever. If something has to be shipping by UPS that I am ordering, I will either cancel the order or find something else that can be sent by a different shipper. I ordered some items online with a regular shipping cost of $20, which is outrageous in the first place. I received an email on 12-5 saying that the delivery would be delayed until 12-6. On 12-5 at 4:54 pm on my track it says "delivered - FD POT" which would have been the pot I have sitting by my front door. I called in a missing or stolen package immediately. On 12-6 and 12-7 status says "name is incorrect". on 12-7 pm status says "receiver REFUSED delivery, return to sender" with a final departure scan from Phoenix on 12-8. WHAT? I called customer service and MY name and MY address was in their system however they allowed someone named Ty at a different address to refuse my package and now customer service is saying they won't return the package to me, I have to figure it out with the company I ordered from. THEIR mistake and you have to fix it. UPS is garbage and especially this distribution center. Received many packages that I had no idea were there because they just throw them against the door without knocking or anything. read more

5/4/2013 This started on April 4th 2013 with my first online order through Home Depot of a Sharp R1875T Microwave oven. UPS has delivered five, yes 5, R1875T Convection Microwave ovens from Sharpe Appliances to my home since April and completely destroyed each oven. Sharpe ships these same microwave ovens from Taiwan to their warehouses in Ohio with no damage, however it appears UPS can't deliver them from Ohio to Arizona without completely destroying. #4 Arrived at my home with the side smashed in about 3 inches where they obviously had carefully placed the fork of a forklift through the carton and packing. Why do they even load them on to the final delivery truck in that condition ?? The latest unit was shipped double packed and expedited to my local Home Depot store but they were still able to destroy it. The receivers at Home Depot are totally shocked at the condition of arrivals. When will someone in UPS executive open their eyes and start serving the public with some pride in their work They are not a delivery service they are a destruction company.
