I frequent this UPS store and they are always so helpful. This past week I had to print a color 11 x 14 through email and I was having a hard time with it. They were so helpful and patient and I walked out with a beautiful color print and it was only a few dollars. No money was made off me from this transaction, yet they treated me as a gold member! read more

Reading the old reviews, I think this store is making progress. We moved to the area last year and have had to make quite a few Amazon returns and shipments. Mostly friendly folks and the one associate who's a bit slow & grumpy is closely managed. The self return scanner is convenient.. read more

So ask yourself this question: Why would I and other reviewers call attention to the extreme rudeness of the staff and then the store posts a response full of phony graciousnesses. If the staff in the store acted the way this review sounds like, people like myself and other reviewers reviewing this UPS store would never take the time to post negative reviews. And update, I called the UPS store in Danbury and the person I spoke with was upbeat and pleasant. I will take my business there or to Westport where the staff are fantastic. read more

Avoid this store at all costs! I tried to have my holiday cards printed here but the prints looked absolutely nothing like the images I sent. The quality was horrible and they were all yellowy-Green. When I said the images looked totally differently, I showed them the original that was sent and the owner said they weren't what I actually sent them. I asked to see the images they received and they looked exactly like the original I sent, but what was printed was entirely off. Then the owner got mad at me because I didn't want to pay for the horrible images. He complained that it was a waste of materials and time. He was extremely condescending and rude the entire time. The most infuriating part was I heard him bad-mouthing me in front of customers as I walked out. As a result, I had to expedite my holidays from somewhere else. It ended up taking up a large amount of my time and was a stressful experience. I've since been in there to do amazon returns and every employee there acts depressed and rude. Avoid this location. UPS on Lake Avenue in Danbury is cleaner and the employees are always pleasant and helpful. Worth the drive. read more

Not a fan. I was 100% stunned at the cost to ship two medium boxes, that were well-packaged and addressed. I believe each weighed close to 8 pounds. I said I'd go with least expensive method. $25/box to go slowest way ground to Texas from CT. $50 later I left vowing to never return. Ever. On another note, the gentleman was so incredibly irritated that he was practically hurling my boxes onto the scale. I was only saying few words out of fear he might explode at any moment- all I said was please and thank you but he behaved like he despised me from the moment I came in. I simply cannot fathom doing business that way- whether one enjoys their job or hates it- to take it out on customers simply trying to make a simple transaction is just not right. Called ahead to make sure they could take my Amazon return with a USPS return label. Was told it was fine, but when I arrived, John was incredibly rude and told me "They don't like to take big boxes late in the day." Turned me away. Will never go here again. read more

I am disappointed in this UPS when trying to print for my architectural portfolio - they made it very complicated to print anything and I had to physically help them print. Then were super condescending to me when I was asking basic questions and instead of trying to help, the man just said "that's how it is." So I told him I was going to try somewhere else and he basically threw my flash drive at me with little respect. I was treated like a middle school girl when in reality I am a college senior in architecture who knows the printing process VERY well. This is one of the friendliest and helpful stores in town. Whenever I walk in they say hello to me by name! (I wish I could remember their names like they remember mine) If I need to make a lot of copies, I go there. It's quick and cheap. They have the best stock of packing/shipping supplies. The UPS prices aren't always the best, but they are usually simpler and faster, with easier tracking. read more

We were put in a very sticky situation by a foreign exchange student who had been living with us, and wanted 5 large cartons shipped to California. He arrived at the store one minute before they closed, and they still gave him GREAT customer service. Then the student forgot his wallet. And then he forgot the ship to address. We were mortified and we use this UPS all the time for our Ebay business. We wanted to crawl under a rock. Meanwhile, UPS called the student, waited patiently while the student returned the call three days later. We were mortified. But the people at the UPS store were gracious and patient and kind.
